- A film I created for demo purposes for Alfa Romeo. Fully built, animated, filmed, and rendered inside of Unreal Engine 5. All shots were pushed through a final Path Tracer render, then colored in Davinci Resolve.

not really, the lighting is off in so many places that it's obvious it's not real life
alfa romeo should hire you to make advertisement. The 3d animation is very well put together, i thought it was a real alfa romeo model, however using live models compared to cgi models are completely different.
The funny thing is that most car comercials already use 3D models and animations for their commercials, just not in realtime like here.

How long have you been doing 3d work/cinematography? I refuse to believe you picked up unreal engine and learned how to make such a thing in just a few years. The cinematography and camera angles are on point. The sound design tops it off. Outstanding work!
I actually picked up UE within 1.5 years ago! But i have been in Live Action production as a DP/Director, as well as editor for the last 10+ years, so it was a natural transition :P
@@milescable I was going to say, if you have all of the practical, irl skills, moving to 3D modeled live action is just a test of your ability to learn the tool. A good example of this is Netflix’s Love Death Robots (there is a bts for one episode that explains it well)

Amazing work, i have a Giulia myself, to make it even abit more realistic: The Giulia has day running lights, which cant be turned off, its a small led strip near the middle of the lights, that would have made it perfect
The DRL makes her look kind angry and on its toes ready to chase whatever is in front of her on any bending road...
I was stunned with mine as soon as I saw it driving towards me with the drls on.... (prior to the test drive)

this is not qv, this is a GTAm model. Which makes not only q4 sticker but also QV badge wrong. QV logo of GTA models are paint not badges. :D

I have a question because I’m a little confused about something, in the breakdown you made, it seems like you made most of it and your friend made the forest environment, but it says in the description that it was produced by “stept studios” implying that a studio worked on it. So was it just 2 people working on the cg and animation? Or was it a studio?
For sure. So stept helped with getting us connected with alfa, our colorist, and some top level creative direction.
But in terms of physical work, yah I did the city building, animating, shooting, and base lighting- then my team at Impossible Objects came on and finessed the lighting for each shot, and helped with the renders. My buddy Javi who did the forest, helped with the city grid as well, and we were just hanging on discord every night workin!
