I Recently Installed the WV 60s Alnico Humbucker on my Les Paul and Put a Little Help with alpha 500k Pots and 0.022uf Orange Drop and 50s Wiring Sceme. Such A Beastly Tone! Perfect for my Vintage Tone Hunt
Humbuckers are great as well. I put Wilkinson M in an Ibanez, sounded great!

It was just a buzz from the strings. A neck adjustment and setting the string height cleared it up. And they sound amazing.
After having seen all great reviews I purchased a pre wired pickup guard with these pickups on my 70's Japanese Stat copy and they don't sound good at all using distorsion. It's best described as a good sound with a disturbance on top of it like a bad wiring or something. Or like a string buzzing into the fretboard. Problem is that it's everywhere all over the fretboard and on all strings. It's like a dirty unclean signal and I'm not talking about the distorsion.
My other guitars all sounds great but this sound like crap. Anyone have any good lead to what might be going on?
What is that guitar's fretboard radius? Are those pickups staggered?
You can just get pup covers and not have to change the whole set
