Can that pickups sound close to the ones srv has? I really want to have that srv tones, so im planning to upgrade my pickups. Wilkinson alnico v vintage tone Or the wilkinson high output ceramic? I just based my assumption on the pickup ratings on the texas specials, I really cant decide what to buy
I love these but recently changed out for Warman Texas Triple Hots. They're closer to that SRV sound and if you can believe it...even cheaper
Why is the low e string well off centre of the pole?
Mine are SUPER noisey, are they wired backwards? The noise/hum is as loud as what I'm playing at the time
If theyre really noisy there could be a grouding issue. There is a lot of 60 cycle hum on any single coils....some of which you can remove with shielding. But this guitar is not shielded

Why u guitar not have a noise
This is problem For single pick up
I actually find this guitar quite noisy. Shielding the electronics cavities with copper or aluminium tape reduced the noise a great deal. You create what's called a Farraday Cage

They are. Wilkinson M Series. Made in China but fully licensed by Wilkinson
Why don't people demoing these super cheap pickups ever play with just clean tone? Why do they always use some kind of effect? The purpose of demoing pickups is to hear the pure unaltered sound
