8.9 seconds left: " yeah I think I have plenty of time"
8.9s left: "I think I have plenty of time" . 5.5s left: "Mate"
8.5 secs is an eternity in a simplified winning position with no real threats against your king. I some positions all you need is just 1 second yo dish out 10 odd moves if you can virtually pre move to victory if pattern is simple enough...
@@angelandsoulsoul2924 yeahr if you good at chess. i would still need 1-2 seconds for 1 move
@@angelandsoulsoul2924 What is your FIDE rating?
@@droceretik 0 lolol. A few seconds in online games in winning position that is simple is huge though when you are virtually pre moving. I play lots of bullet on lichess and chess24.
"When I stop thinking, I do better." Well, I do that all the time with opposite results.

@Diego Maradonna Perhaps you should return to football.
@@kuhisyamuddin8431 I think he meant that he was maybe thinking too much about it. Sometimes we can overthink things.
@@kuhisyamuddin8431 It is definitely distracting

Magnus talks as if he has already won the game he's playing and is just doing a quick summary of how he did it.
Have you heard of pompey magnus
He's world champ dumbass

Carlsen's opponent: wow, I got into a good position against Magnus.
Carlsen: shit, I'm low on time. Switching on ultra instinct.
Opponent: nani?!!!
LMAO man, you nailed it! Magnus should be streaming with a screen title: "Omae wa mou shindeiru!"
Oh your approaching me?
Hahaha
omaai waa mou shinderuu
@x33mmm It means, 'What?' in Japanese. And in a typical shonen anime, the question mark is followed by three to four exclamation marks! :-D
Magnus at opening: half asleep
Magnus at middlegame: "eh, I think I'm better?"
Magnus at endgame after realizing he is short on time: Goes full berserker engine mode and annihilates opponent
Sir pls tell how you think in chess
@@bns7142 before you make a move, try to think what your opponent will respond with. Meaning calculats moves ahead, the more you train the more you get used to notice the best moves faster, allowing you to calculate even more. Studying openings and endgames helps alot too
@@ricardomahfoud Thank you . But I want to know how Magnus Carlsen sir think in chess.
Yes sir pls tell how to think in chess
@@bns7142 It seems like you might want coaching. I'm not sure that he does coaching right now and probably doesn't doesn't do it for free. He probably wouldn't answer on this comment section either. Congratulations, you are an excellent referencer of legends.^^
Hello again. Sorry about that. I meant "takes takes takes takes takes". Congratulations, you are an excellent grammar police.

How can we pay for this level of content? It's literally like listening to Bach's thought process while composing, albeit slightly more humoristic.
One is art, one is just a game
Ok, but define what's art first
@@luiscabral8520 if you can win or loose it is a game. That's why ballet is an artform and figure skating a sport.
@@konradvonschnitzeldorf6506 ballet you also can win or loose in a competition. You just defined what's a game, but don't explained what's an art
@@luiscabral8520 well that is a deeply philosophical question. I am just sure that composing is an art. If sport is an art for you I probably can't say that you are wrong. It's an opinion
The first 45 seconds sounded like an AI trying to convince itself it was human or something... that was bizarre.
Jason Fuqua yeah that was some sociopathic shit lmao. Can’t believe he let his mask fall off like that. Very creepy!
He was being humorous
This sounds more like some “uh I should probably walk back what I said a little bit” moment. Live-streaming your thoughts must be so nerve wracking.
Chris Nelson agreed. And I appreciate that he does it. I have no ill will toward the guy; just kind of ribbing him. Also not his native language. I don’t speak another language so I can only imagine organizing my thoughts, and conveying them in real time whilst playing chess. Magnus is consistently insightful and entertaining
∆∆∆ When neurotypical normies try to understand a genius lol "durr he's sociopathic durrr"

When I stop thinking, I play better
-Magnus Carlsen-2020
His brain works different. In little time on losing position, although his opponent plays perfect. Nevertheless, he makes analysis, stayed calm and won. Absolutely an abnormal case, genius.
Mashallah tbark Allah alhamudillah inshallah better astgfrallah
How does this man's brain work? He instinctively knows how the best move.
I can't believe he's still using this soccer board XD I remember like two years ago when he confused a recommended green board with this one. He genuinely likes this board. It's hilarious to me.
'When I think less I do better, that's always the lesson' is a beautiful haiku
"when I stop thinking I do better" - spoken like a true chess cyborg :-)
Such a fantastic understanding of the game. So versatile and his memory is impeccable. I can follow everything he’s doing but where I get impressed is his ability to squeeze water from a stone position. Creativity abounds.
When I have less than 10 seconds on the clock with my opponent having above 30 and there's no increment, this game is damn lost for sure. I don't get how magnus can make perfect moves so quickly, that's pure insanety
Well may be him being world chess champion may have been a factor .. but u can't say
@@kushpathak4097 oh really.. You don't say
@@kushpathak4097 This is nit-picky, but him being a world champion is more of a result of his endgame skill than a cause.
It’s the reason I don’t play bullet or anything below 5 minute blitz. I panic with low time and just make terrible moves which frustrates me.
@@Auzzie015 you fear from what you dont know how to. excercise. nothing to lose, plenty to win.
“The jury is still out if I do” I find that comment interesting. Was that a self reflective question or a reference to how the community feels.
Sir pls tell how you think in chess
He's probably referring to an annual sports gala in Norway where all kinds of awards are given to people who have impressed in some way related to sports. Magnus won the "people's prize" in 2014 but wasn't even nominated this year, possibly due to a controversy surrounding his chess club. There has been some writings in newspapers about it, most people think it's outrageous that he wasn't even considered for his performance in what may have been his best year ever.
Was wondering the same, definitely self reflective, but at the end of it all what is a “normal person”. High quality people should spend most of their time with other high quality people, otherwise it’s self degradation.
Eric Calhoun what is a “high quality” person exactly.
@@punctuationman334 A high quality person would less often ask that question.
That micro think and observation on the second to last move is worth an analysis in itself. My word!!!
05:47 - only moment in the video i related to Carlsen, and yet...
3:21, the commentary I subbed to this channel for.
"when I stop thinking I do better" man he really does have ultra instinct.
I like the attitude about pretending to care about people. Honest! ;)

The videos are worth paying money for!
you can see that "when i stop thinking im doing fine" at basically every subject. the trained "intelligence" that comes into play there without actively thinking is extremely valuable on trained people.

Carlsen is a puzzle. How can one be so badass yet so humble?
WOW!!! I thought there was no way he could win with that much time down on the clock!!
He was using the force to win at the end...
You are just straight deadly in the final seconds🎯
Nice come back!
How do I know when Magnus is live streaming?
*20 seconds remain. Magnus: You have activated god mode.
I did not know how he was going to pull out a win with so little time. Phenomenal.
This was in my recommendations. Im subbing now
From a lost position to mate down on the clock, that was amazing!
Plot twist, anytime Carlson has to leave he just sees the future and acts accordingly
The lightning makes him looks like he have a halo over his head
Woahh that was amazingly played!
18 seconds vs 50 seconds, I have plenty of time. The goat
From holding up well against Magnus to blundering everything then getting checkmated
I randomly clicked in the middle of the video and he exactly said that in the title lol
*Few seconds remains*
Magnus: It is a matter of time and I got plenty
So by watching Magnus play online with fans and other GMs, streaming it and talking about it make it seems like quanrantine did actually bring some good things to us.

8.9 seconds left. Magnus : Yeah I am fast, faster than sonic
The only time I can agree with Magnus is when he say "what was I thinking?". Because that's pretty much me through the entire game when I play chess 😂😂😂😂😂

That’s so ridiculously impressive to me. Time to learn chess on a deeper level.
Is this chess board graphic available on chess 24 ? I love it!

"Muda Muda Muda"
I think he wanted to say "When i stop talking..."
Magnus : Omae wa mou shindeiru
Spieljunge: NANI?!
8.9 seconds left for Magnus...Opponent starts to hear boss music....
What a wise commentary!
I just love how board games are originally offline and now they are being played online by pro and top player too
Magnus: "When I stopped thinking I do better"
Me: "If I stop thinking I death"
Can you please change the board interface? Too difficult to differentiate the squares.
He makes it look simple. Bravo Magnus Carlsen.

From Wikipedia: "Carlsen is an avid fan of football, with Real Madrid CF as his favourite club. In recognition of becoming world chess champion, he took the honorary kick-off in a La Liga game between Real Madrid and Real Valladolid on 30 November 2013. Carlsen also follows the Premier League and plays fantasy football. In December 2019, he reached the No. 1 spot on the Fantasy Premier League game, ahead of seven million other players".
