Nah, it was def racism. Not only was it confirmed by RTD himself *but* the character of Lindy is also very racist on how she behaves. I mean, think about it, she instantly blocks the doctor when she first meets him but doesn't do the same for Ruby, she constantly undermines and almost talks down to the doctor but doesn't do that with Ruby and, lastly, she gets really disgusted when she learns that Ruby was in the same room as the Doctor. So, yeah, most definitely racism
