Egyptian Museum Cairo, Egypt (First Floor) Walking Tour

  • This walk was filmed on the evening of January 20th, 2019. I had limited time to film the museum since it was closing soon so this is a QUICK walk through. I walk past many exhibits. There was also very little light since it was dark outside and much of the museum is lit through the windows to the outside. Given that, I hope you enjoy this tour of the first floor of the Egyptian Museum. Thanks for watching!

I was lucky enough to have visited the Cairo Museum at end of November 2019. It’s always been a lifelong dream of mine to travel to Egypt. They didn’t allow cameras tho, and I only took pics with my cellphone. Hoping to go back when the Grand Egyptian Museum opens. Thanks for sharing this lovely video. It gives people the opportunity to experience this amazing place and artifacts when stuck in quarantine.

Video looks great. I visited it April 2010 and it seems cleaned. I believe Tutankhamen 's treasures are moved to Grand Egyptian Museum. I hope to visit it after the opening.

Hey, I was there in January and as far as I know, all of the Tutankhamen exhibit was still there. I saw the famous funerary mask, but I wasn't able to film it. Anyway, the 2nd Floor walk will be posted up on Saturday..or sooner. Thanks for watching!

In 2005, there was a Tut exhibit in Ft. Lauderdale Florida and my husband bought tickets for my birthday. When I was in grade school, there was a book in my school library and I kept checking it out. I was so fascinated by the items discovered. I was drawn to its beauty. So, you can imagine my excitement going to that exhibit. It’s something I will NEVER forget. I got to see things I could only dream about. I want to thank you for taking me back to ancient Egypt. It’s breathtaking.
