Nioxin must be applied daily. It's medication. I think it's minoxidil. If you stop using it, the hair could fall out. To maintain growth, my doctor recommended using the product 3× per week.
Also, hair supplements like Viviscal or Nutrafol were suggested along with red light laser therapy. I purchased a laser brush.
Oil minoxidil laser therapy and supplements all together, produced hair regrowth in 3 months. My hair is thicker and two small bald spots are gone.
It takes time and patience, on average 3-6 months.
The braids are beautiful!
