I stopped going to certain beauty supply stores years ago. The “all eyes are on you” 👀 nonsense is not worth the frustration. I agree, the best products are expensive. It’s great that you use them and have them available for your clients to purchase.
There are expensive products that are garbage. I know inexpensive products that are better than the expensive ones.

Everyone likes the African pride pre poo but I hate it. I used it and the products flung off my hair all over the mirrors and walls, it was super drying to my hair like I put nail polish removal on it 🤯 My hair was extremely dry! Even after deep conditioning and I do that weekly. I don’t have problems detangling after shampoo so I went back to my normal. I just got it because everyone loved it and that aloe sucked the crap out of my moisture.
Girl I’m glad that you did, continue to listen to your hair ❤️, what work for others may not work for other lol.
Maybe it just wasn't meant for you and your hair if your regular routine works better for you stick to it love, just bc everyone else likes it doesn't mean you have to😊💯

See it def has slip but the same can be done on wet hair in the shower using a conditioner. One time I tried the African pride on my wet hair in the shower and the whole glob slipped right off my hands and hair on to the shower floor. I then said you know what my hair isn’t even that tangled to be fooling with this. Pulled my unbrush out and detangled with the excess product in my hair
