Stated every problem with the game that led a community devolve into cheaters… it’s like the player base is supplementing the difficulty of this game due to the try-hard base raising the difficulty to an insane level. And that’s a crime?
You say cheating is bad and then change your clock to increase hatch rate which is essentially cheating. Lesser or greater evil much.

I think he has a point. Time changing is allowed though, it’s not a glitch or hack, it’s a valid choice that the game allows and doesn’t outlaw.
@@TruthinStore you say it’s allowed but yet the game gives you a penalty when doing it meaning it’s not allowed and time changing is a system thing not a game thing, that’s why it penalizes you for doing it. yes, I am saying time changing is technically cheating.

I remember I used a power item to breed a competitive shiny corsola just so I could have a 4 in 5 of getting getting both 0 attack and speed instead of a 1 in 3 chance of having to try again. I still hunted it twice to make 2 sets
I did not know about transferring egg moves! That's awesome!!!
One thing I want to touch on is that you can use the power items in conjunction with the destiny knot to increase the odds of getting 6 IV Pokemon. this is how I've gotten most of my 6 IV's from breeding. You just have to chance getting the right nature, or change it with a mint.

Apparently fossils are guaranteed 3 perfect IVs, and you can use those to enter the Pokemon Ancestry! You also just need two 2 IV Bidoof to get started if you use Power Items :)

You can breed a 3 IV fossil with another 3iv fossil (for exemple Omanyte is in the water 1 and 3 egg group and Bidoof is in the same water group as Omanyte. Once you got a 5-6IV Omanyte you can start breeding for a 5-6IV Bidoof and start from here

Fossil Pokémon have 3 guaranteed perfect IV’s upon regenerating! Both Kabuto and Omanyte can be breaded over to Bidoof. I was able to breed a 5 IV Omanyte and then breed those stats over to Bidoof.

Good luck with the breeding! Be aware that joining the private Verlis Discord is a good place to be when wanting to breed. Having fellow players to collaborate with is great! You only need to make sure the players you team up with are playing properly, which is what the server is for: as a filter.

I have not known about the breeding move bouncing I'm super glad cause I was in breeding ferrathorn and once I got 5 ivs started shiny breeding (masuda method +charm) and got it on the 12th egg, but forgot to get the egg moves settled. I'm glad I saw this video before I made another attempt.
Sorry but stop calling people out for using 6IV ditto some of us have jobs and don’t want to spend hours and hours. It already takes hours to even get 6IV perfect Pokémon even with 6IV ditto and all the items etc.

I just figured out a way to make the process to getting the 6iv bidoof faster! Drifloon at the windmill is guaranteed 3 max ivs. I soft reset and used cute charm to get a 4 max iv male drifloon. I just bred it with a ralts to get a 6iv. Then just breed up the tree provided in the video. I believe this is much easier than chaining for a bidoof, it was for me!

@@cv8595 it doesn't have anything to do with max ivs. The reason I did that is because 4 max ivs have a 1/32 chance of happening in this scenario. I got two 4 max ivs female in a row and decided that getting a male with the help of cute charm would be more efficient. That way a female ralts could be bred with.
Would've love if you talked about the hidden ability passing on if there is any change from previous game? I got a hidden ability buizel male and female dratini and trying to get hidden ability dratini. Like what is the % of getting it from the male vs the female? Or if its even possible to do that?
for what its worth, i got much better stats on the ditto i caught underground than i did from chaining. it might have been pure luck, but it might be worth trying if you want a break from trying to chain

I won't make you watch a video, if you aren't going to play competitive, then don't worry about IV's, but competitive you want to be on equal grounds as your opponent, which they most of the time will have perfect IV's. IE, Garchomp with max speed IV and EV vs another Garchomp with max speed EV and just "good" IV, the first Garchomp will be faster.

Why don't you consider changing the clock in your switch cheating, too? Since you are not supposed to have sped up breeding every day.
Because Nintendo has never ever considered time skipping cheating since changing the clock isn't an exploitative action and despite patching every major glitch in SwSh, time skipping stayed in. Meanwhile there is over a decade of precedent for dupes being disallowed.

You are changing console settings, not in-game settings, to forcefully repeat rare (yearly!!) timed events. That's a thin line you are balancing on considering your almost aggressive opinion on "cheating"

Woah somehow I never thought about breeding a hyper trained Pokemon. Maybe I just read the thing about it not being hereditary; but it probably just didn't occur to me to hyper train a Pokemon I didn't want to use in battle.

I accidentally screwed up with Ev training and now my whole team has attack ev's trained. Are berries the only way to reset them or is there a npc you can talk to like in isle of armor DLC?

I actually caught a 6IV Ditto in Pokemon Sword, it took a VERY long time at the ditto raid den (I believe that is your best bet for catching a 6IV in any pokemon game so far), 5-stars raids guarantee 4 perfect IVs. You'll see many 5IV mons, but finding that 6IV takes forever, unless you're lucky, but it is possible. But since it took much time to acquire, I would never trade that away online lol
Anyways, it is possible to legitimately get 6IV dittos, I caught one first hand. But you're right saying that if you receive one in a trade, it's hacked...as I said no one would just trade away a legit one, and it's much easier to hax.
Can you breed hybrid pokemon or do they have to be the same species?
How would you go on breeding a snorlax with the right nature and IV's? would the nature have to be luck since snorlax needs a full incense to be able to breed and so you either forfeit the Destiny knot or everstone
You only need the Full Incense to breed a Munchlax :)

In let's Go Pikachu/Eevee you can easily make a 6 IV Ditto. I just made 4 of them today. Granted, you have to have the game completed. Find a Golden Bottle Cap in the game corner... or battle Mina 6 times. Level it up to 100. Then go to the daycare and use the Bottle Caps to hyper train the IVs.
Hyper Trained IVs don't breed
@@Verlisify Well, the IVs are labeled as Best, and not Hyper Trained, as you stated in the video. I'm still new to all of this. My bad. Just started back playing pokemon games last month. Last game I played was the original Yellow. So, I'm trying to catch up to all the "new" stuff.
Either way, combo chaining in LGP/E is pretty easy. So, it wouldn't take long to catch a perfect IV Ditto. But any, I have to get back to leveling up a Lilligant. So that I can trade it for a shiny Poipole. It's a weird ask, but it's easy to do, lol.

Pokemon Sword & Shield were exceedingly easy, and I do suspect that for all the future games that are the "competitive" games, that features like those will reappear. I for one wonder if Masuda simply thought there was a chance to *increase* the challenge in Pokemon for the first time since Pokemon X and Y, and give grounds for a better trading community. There are a lot of things I am picking up on with these games anyway that seem to not force you to team up, but even more so reward you if you do. Like there not being this RUSH to get the Shiny Charm, and then everyone complaining about how hard it is and how "awful" it is that they have to pay $2 for using online servers 24 hours a day if they so choose for a whole month...

EDIT: (this comment is wrong)I found a time skip method to get the driftloon At the valley wind works by going into the union room waiting for it to say connecting and then backing out to the system page and changing the time going back into the game and then backing out to the overworld
thats not a time skipping method. Drifloon has no skip penalty after unknown conditions are met. It seems that a 24 hour save file can force spawn floon, but everything else still time penalty

You can delete your software, change time, take 20 minutes to redownload and then it will change without lock out from my experience
I still don't fully understand Pokémon breeding it's so complicated with all those EV and IV
I changed my clock to the future to be Friday so I could catch driftbloom. Set my clock for 11:59pm and waited a minute at the Home Screen of my switch and then at 12:00am I started the game (I was disconnected from the internet) and driftbloom showed up

I been hatching bidoof eggs. I got 19 consecutive (and counting) bidoof born with the unaware ability. I want one with the simple ability.
Female pokemon have an 80% chance to pass down ability. So get a female bidoof with the ability you want, then breed with a ditto or a male bidoof.
@@landonbenell3981 I see. I did eventually hatch a simple ability bidoof, but, that was on egg 22 hatched. Also, I am 4 badges in, no access to catching ditto yet

I would just like to understand something. Why go to all this effort for perfect IVs? It's a value from 0 to 31. That much I know, but how much of a difference does a single point of IV make? Say you have a Level 100 Manaphy (base stats all the same--for simplicity's sake--100) with a neutral nature and zero EVs. It's stats should all be the same (apart from HP) at zero IVs, right? 205 According to Serebii, if I'm reading that right. So pretend two of those IVs (HP notwithstanding) changed to 10 and 11 respectively. How much have the stats increased from where they started at 205? Also how much have the stats changed going from just 10 IVs to 11 IVs? How much higher will those stats get at 31 IVs? This is what I want to understand. I'll go through the effort to do so if I can understand how good the payoff I'm working towards is. If there's already a video about this on CZcams, could someone leave the link in this comment? Thank you for your patience.
So i just recently got into BD, hadnt played any of the games in years, stopped at black and white. Anyways, i started playing and my friend traded to me a shiny, japanese ditto with pokerus. i immediately asked why he was giving me a hacked mon. a moment of silence later and then he said "why do think its hacked? i got it from wonder trade a while back and thought you could use it for breeding." my response "mesuda method it is." now ive got a couple shinies i cant do anything with lmao

I love your take on hacking. I’ve recently gotten back into Pokemon with BD and I’m really excited to get into the competitive scene, and put in all the effort required to really compete, including breeding… but I keep seeing all these glitch short cuts, cloning pokemon, giving them moves they could never learn, shiny, broken, its just so sad. I appreciate the grind, and everyone who wants strong pokemon should too. Time and patience is all it takes to beat other trainers. I’ve encountered obvious hackers and swept them with full ev trained pokemon, imagine after I apply this guide to my training?! They’ll never win. We can’t let the hackers win!
