Rhett-o-glass guitar!
that thing sounds fantastic man congrats!
Thanks Robert!!
Now a pedal that takes us closer to a five watt amp is something I can get behind. Thanks for making this happen Rhett and Zach. Now I don’t have to have a ‘64 Skylark of my own, I can just get a Lark! :)
I'd definitely consider this a huge success and milestone for you man! Sure sounds amazing and prolific of you to make the product you wanted to see and use
Rabea started playing it in the Anderton’s review and it sounded exactly like you were playing. It’s your tone in a box.
Congrats from Atlanta!! Been watching your videos for a while now and I’m pretty happy to see you and your channel move forward, it is inspiring. Keep it rocking!
Congratulations man! Well deserved! Been a subscriber for a while now and it's awesome to see some hard work paid off.
Hey Rhett! Can’t wait to get one of these! Also, your backing vocals are sounding great!!!
Definitely preordering this. Even if I hadn't heard it, I'd wanna support you in every way possible, as you've been a huge inspiration, both in the decision you've made to pursue music and your work ethic in keeping up with this youtube channel. I've learned a lot about gear through your videos, and I'm working on putting it into practice. Fortunately for me, the Lark sounds great, so it's really a win-win lol.
That’s freaking sweet man. Congrats. Love the sound and the trem on there pushes it into amazing.
Love This! Congrats on your signature pedal, and it looks like a winner. Could not happen to a more deserving guy! Always loved the sound of a Skylark, this may just put one within my reach. Going to the website right now to check into it.
Stoked!! Love the idea and can’t wait to order one this summer!! Congrats on the pedal, it’s well deserved.
Dude, congrats man! When you had your 100K video I was trying to remember when I first subbed to you. I decided it was around the pedalboard you hated. Been a pleasure to join you on this journey. Cheers to more success!
So cool -it sounds awesome and inspiring. Appreciate all the content you share with us - well deserved first signature product!
Can’t wait to get me one O these
Larks !!! Well done RS !! Sounds great!! Thank you, have a great gig ! Or Session which ever comes first ! Cheers 🥂
great video Rhett! congratulations and the best of fortune!!!!
Super cool Rhett. The graphics on it are insane. She captured the Skylark vibe! Your video live through the AC30 was awesome. Nice job.
Outstanding Rhett! Sounds superb!
Congratulations, Rhett! Great sounding pedal and a great idea.
As you say, there's always a story behind your videos and they're always entertaining.
great idea, your tones live and in studio are great, mostly in the hands we know but the pedal sounds really nice! Hope it's a huge success!
Love every tone I heard. From the subtle little snarl to the sweet slide (a la Derek Trucks) with the 335. Well done. You did what few pedals seem to achieve; properly not over do it!
Hi Rhett! Two years later…re-watching this video, and being an owner, I can say it is very satisfying to play and is a staple on my board. It stacks so well with the LightSpeed. If the tremolo could be operated independently, that will make it so much more flexible, but no deal breaker. Thanks to you & Mythos Pedals for a superb stomp box! Cheers!
Very cool Rhett, ordered tonight brother! Happy to support you in your career. Best of luck as always!
That sounds nice Rhett! That's gonna make lots of boards more fun to play. Congrats!
This awesome. Im gonna get one! I love this era of pedals. I never could have imagined all these awesome amp in a box pedals years ago
Great work Rhett! Love the sound of the pedal, but also a great story today on how it was created 🙌🏻🔥
congratulations rhett! I was looking for a tremolo pedal, and this may be the right fit for me!
so dope! Was hounding the boards looking for a Skylark. Yup, next BEST thing is this pedal! Thank you for your work on this!
Rhett mines getting here on Friday, I’m so excited!!! Thanks for all your inspiration!!
I love the shout out to your graphic designer! As one myself I often have the feeling that our work gets neglected, after it is done, although the visual aspect of something is so important.
I love the pedal and I got to say I was blown away by the sound with the slide at the end of the video absolutely in love with that sound so smooth
I love how you're playing the solo to Hell or High Water, whenever you are testing new gear. It's an awesome part!
Thanks Rhett and Mythos! I'd been scouring for a GA-5 ever since I saw the video on why small amps rock. I loved the jam and now I'm excited and proud to say I'm gonna be one of the first Lark owners this year!
Congrats Rhett! I wish I had seen it and try it out at NAMM. Good luck with the release and look forward ti seeing it in the wild soon.
Love your channel and look forward to your future content.
Such a cool pedal, dude! You, Zach, and RJ all killed it on these new pedals! Also, awesome video as always!
Great vid Rhett, I have an old Gibson Falcon GA19RVT I found last summer that looked like it was sitting in someones backyard for 15 or so years not working. The volume knob was frozen and broken off even with the top faceplate, and the speaker was changed out to who knows what (no codes). The year codes on all the pots we're from 1963. I went thru this amp and replaced all the bad and out of spec parts, made a new back door for it that was missing, and replaced the spkr with an Eminence Texas Heat I had laying around. I cleaned up the cabinet, and sanded all the rust off of the outside of the reverb tank, and replaced the output tubes, and I tell you, this thing has the best blues sound of all the tube amps I own. It's became my favorite player too. I guess you might call it my "go-to" amp now. Your new Lark pedal sounds a lot like this amp - Kudo's to you for bringing this to players attention. There's not many of these old Gibby's around, at least where someone could afford it; I found my on market place by chance, and the person I bought it from discovered it at an auction. It'd be nice if you had a give-away of a couple of these pedals on your channel like you did that Tele. I'm sure you would have a big repsonse.
Dude congratulations. It's so awesome and sounds awesome. I want it!
Again congratulations. (Thanks Zack)
✌️❤️🤘
Rhett, that pedal is soooo organic sounding! Over the recent years I've really enjoyed watching younger you-tubers like you and Rob Chapman (to name another) launch gear and be successful in your endeavors. Not to mention being great players. Best of luck to you and the others that are making CZcams a wonderful source of entertainment and information.
Congrats! Looks and sounds great.
Congrats Rhett! Really happy for you man. Well deserved 🤘🖤🤘
Hey man, congratulations on the new pedal! Hope it does well for you!
If last year was the “year of the synth pedal” maybe this year is the “year of the amp-in-a-box with bias-modulated tremolo pedal” RevivalTrem and now the Lark. Interesting indeed.
Also Victory V4 The Duchess.
Year of the synth pedal? Yeesh, glad I was in a coma. Or are you talking about all that Strymon stuff?
@@martysmith7803 Strymon doesn't have any synth pedals, but EHX, Keeley, EQD, Boss have and many others.
@@martysmith7803 You sound boring
Congrats Rhett great achievement, I love the tone of the Lark, it sounds like you
Thats a really good sounding pedal! Congratulations to you and Mythos!
Really interesting video. Good work lads. Great tones.
Congrats man. Its a great feeling to see something that was in your mind come to life
Sounds really cool, Rhett! A very cool and original idea to turn you Skylark into a pedal!
Congrats Rhett! Your pedal sounds REALLY awesome!
Was looking for a cool and unique overdrive and this might be it! The trem is a huge bonus too. Sounds killer!
Rhett I love your style man. And what's funny is that the stuff I play and listen to is nowhere near your territory or sound. Yet I still keep watching you because I learn a ton of awesome musical knowledge nuggets and I've got so much respect. Your such an old soul with so much swag bro. Keep doing your thing.
Man that thing sounds great and looks great! Congrats! I’m definitely picking one up!
Killer video , execution by Mythos wizard , outcome (you have your amp to go) . You're a exciting artist . Please keep sharing your experiences in these video's of yours. And your gratitude shines !!! Aloha brother .
The footage of the gig into the AC30 got me. Preordered one now. Congrats.
Same, I was thinking I like it. I play a Vox, wonder how it would sound?
Holy shit.... Perfect tone.
That was some sick tone you had goin through the AC30. A lot of work goes into making these pedals. Thanks for showing that
Wel done, man! Pretty nice milestone!
That is such an awesome pedal man. I saw the Anderton's video on it yesterday and was pumped by how good it sounds no matter what setting it's on. This is the kind of pedal I think a lot of artists wish they have but don't - one that gives them the feel of their favorite amp but not as "restrictive" as like a Kemper profile. It really lets you "expand" the sound to make it very personal.
Congrats Rhett! Pedal sounds amazing.
I remember you having the prototype of that pedal with you at a live show, it was completely blank back then, the graphics on the finished product look amazing!
This is really great! Congratulations!
Great idea, man! I'm surprised trem/drive isn't a more common box.
I love running trem before drive to get a little cleanup on the valleys and a little emphasis on the peaks.
Not sure how the lark is setup but it reminded me of that vibe for sure. Super rad.
We might not have flying cars here in the future but we sure got alotta toys.
Rhett this sounds amazing! Great job!
Loving that tone!!
Right on Rhett, that little jewel sounds great!
Excellent demo! You provide a real sense of the sound of this pedal, and as an amp emulator, it sounds like something I would like to have. FAR too many overdrives have distortion but little to no tone - as an amp has tone. This sounds great.
Congrats on the signature pedal! Much deserved 👍
Nice work fella. Very well deserved, hope to see your name on some other pedals and maybe a guitar sometime soon.
Congrats! I love this kind of pedal that uses transistors in a way that recreates the engineering in a tube amp. I first found out about the Catalinbread Formula 55 which uses J FETs to emulate a Fender Tweed Deluxe, and then The Supro Drive, which even uses an output transformer for attaining magnetic saturation. I'd like to see more MOSFET pedals Like the Blackstone OD as well. This great Skylark pedal is a wonderful addition! look forward to demos.
Congrats Rhett, the pedal really sounds great!
Great job Rhett, very very informative. You make me want to pick my guitar every day 👍
I really love your channel, plus music that you also play
myself I am retired and on disability if I have enough leftover the coming month I will definitely pre order hopefully I can pre order for my birthday on the 16th I wish you all the best with this new product & your music success.
Rhett you Zack nailed it!
I am definitely interested.
Cheers.
Killer! I'll be adding this to the collection. Saves me the trouble of trying to find the amp in good working order.
beautiful slide work!
Just pre-ordered. I also just bought the Rob Chapman Snake Oil distortion. Can't wait to try them both!
Thanks for all you have taught us man!
Sounds great Rhett! I'm pre ordering now!
Man alive, the Lark sounds fantastic with that 335! Very cool!
It was really cool seeing the “making of “ with Zach. I know nothing about designing and building pedals, but I was extremely interested in how that works.
When Zach said he was going to shelve off more bass, I was super curious how he was going to do that. Thanks for the great show, and congratulations on the new pedal!
Change the input cap :)
Nice pedal Rhett! Congrats!
Congratulations, sounds great
Bravo Rhett! Well done
I might need one of these... sounds absolutely phenomenal and that fixed tremolo is perfect
You are great Rhett! Everyone should hear this pedal.......dynamic pure! ...and no plan "b"!
Congratulations! I don't really do amps in a box, but I'll definitely order one. I trust anything with your name on it to be worth it.
Sounds so good live. Very rich with good string definition during chords
Yes Zach is talented for sure
What a great sounding pedal! I always enjoy your videos. I love Mythos. I have a Golden Fleece, and a Argo. It looks like I'm going to be getting more, now. :)
Congratulations on your accomplishment dude!
You and Zach knocked it out of the park . I dig the tone
Sounds great! Congratulations
Loooooooove it !!!!!! tremolo is my favourite "modulation" effect, and although being myself more into a cleanish tone so far, listening to musicians as you and Ariel posen I´m now leaning to the filth side. Congrats man, your honesty on music deserves a massive suceed.
Congratulations Rhett!!!
This is amazing, super happy for you.
man, sounds good on the vid... congratulations, you should be really proud
Cool! I want one! I'm putting the finishing touches to my version of a tube-screamer, scratch built, with options for the soft clipping diodes and an optional hard clipping stage with old germanium transistors connected as diodes. It sounds amazing, and taking it from the schematic to a pedal that is actually usable is such a buzz. I'll get around to designing my own circuits from scratch too, but I'm hooked!
Nice sounding pedal, good to hear you singing as well.
Wow. I came to ur show in Groningen, loved it & got to talk a while with u. I was peaking over the stage a few times to look at ur pedalboard & remember some weird pedal that i didn’t recognise. Also loved your tone, in that show especially ! Now it all makes sense
Lol i can even see myself in the crowd for like a second
Oh man! This is off the chain! I was considering the Origin trem pedal but I like the raunch of the Skylark more than the comparatively tame brown deluxe so..... I just pray the lark is not as expensive as the origin pedal! Love this, thx Rhett and Zach!
Congrats on the new pedal and the new venture into pedals. I'm just wondering what it sounds like through a new Strymon Iridium? Hope you're doing more vids with it. Thanks.
Congrats, well deserved
