I think Scott would be actually very happy with this gun. No risk of the receiver detonating when you load less gunpowder than is in a .22 LR, into a .50BMG casing.

I just paused at the right time at the very beginning and it looks like there is a foam ear plug in the end of the cartridge. Might not be... but definitely not a normal round. I'm guessing they poured half the powder and used an earplug for the projectile.

It’s a much lower charged round. These are 50 bmg “thumper” rounds and have a much smaller 500-600 grain bullet traveling at around 1000fps. Normal 50 bmg rounds are much larger and travel at around 3500 fps and are much more devastating.
sadly even that can't happen, since the load on that casing is way smaller, the bullet won't fly fast enough for the friction of the air to start that reaction to make tracer tips trace... (ignite)
