I use a very similar build instead of the star shot I use space crabs😊.
The crabs explode and cause burn damage. ALSO, if you use Soul Link ring and you have a crab leftover (it will eventually kill itself and just disappear) it pops your health to full health. Nice little glitch I found that I haven't seen anyone talk about.
I really want that star shot I think I will go for it at some point!
Swapping to firestorm for floating enemy’s is good because a direct hit will have the firestorm floating in air with the enemy, it also seems to keep them from moving sometimes.
Just when I checked for a aoe build a new one pops up. Awesome

Being able to one shot every single mob enemy with the star shot is also a fun time, the burn dot is so strong especially with the red prince ring
very good build i fished nightmare with this build . I did mod it a bit but the fire power is great

Have you tried Alpha/Omega on this build? The mod it has lets you do some funny things with Kill Switch mutator on your handgun. Also super easy to build charges back with it.

You can swap Tremor for Firestorm for most fliers . Unlike ground bosses, they stay at range - so your firestorm will be safe to use . It does ridiculous damage with this type of builds . Only downside , it does make visibility somewhat harder at times (they die so fast it doesnt matter much though)
With his kinship maxed out firestorm wont be dealing much damage to him at all
I’ve been doing an explosive build with Detonation trigger and the Impact Cannon on Engineer, the heavy weapon doesn’t cause an explosion, but the turret does :) I run summoner to increase mod and explosion damage(until I get Archon) and have the ring that gives you bulwark with summons, so I have a constant 3 bulwark with a lot of explosive damage. Kinda a meme build but it’s fun!
Bro put encrypted ring on that build you'll never die lol 😅 i personally put that and shard banded ring in place of the last two you talk about but it's a fun and effective build either way i can't believe i been sleeping on tremors mod it's sooooooo good lol
Just tested the band of the fanatic, and I'm not sure if it's been changed or nerfed since this video was posted, but I'm pretty sure it no longer acts as you described. When equipped, it shows a clear overall damage loss on Ritualist's miasma skill (at least on the skill description) by about roughly 60% or so. It went from 7800 damage over 40 seconds down to 3255 over 14s (with Red Ring of Death, Shadow of Misery and Timekeeper's jewel, and energized neck coil all equipped). With nothing equipped, miasma deals 3000 damage over 20s, but 1312.5 over 7s. Basically reducing the overall duration by about 2/3 and giving an extra 300 (10%) overall damage. At the shooting range, the damage numbers only went up by about 10% per tic. Even at the range my dps was relatively the same in both cases. So, I'm not sure if your description of the effect of this ring is or ever was accurate prior to any nerfs/buffs/fixes. If your description was still accurate, the damage numbers would significantly increase and by much more than just 5-8 damage per tic. Or the damage would be ticking so fast you'd barely be able to catch the numbers flying. I wish the ring actually worked like that, but I doubt that's what the devs intended. It would have been way too big of power boost for status builds.
This build is insane it make apocalypse look like normal synergy is 100% fun and cool

Ok yup this is like unlocking easy mode even on apocalypse, I thought I'd done a decent job making an explosive build but this hits so much harder it's absurd lol
This build is stupid good. The effect damage is very good and the tremor mod is spammable. Just gotta be careful with the star shot mod friendly fire.

Dont use tremor unless you dont mind switching it out for flying units i use the fire bullets and my star fire mod regen is insane
How is your Sparkfire's aim spread reticle so small? From what I see, you didn't put on the Targeting Ring or put any points into Handling.
Spread concoction I imagine. Comes with the new dlc.
Point focus ring works also
I think part of the video I had tranquility font, but for the most part, the reticle for the stars hot is identical to the spark fire but much smaller, maybe that's what gave the impression of a small reticle? 🤔 I dunno

Becarful sir your explanation on burden of the fanatic is false sir it does reduce total dmg but uncrease dps if u continusly apply status effect
Singed ring should be replaced with burden of gambler (decrease to firearm range but flat 15% to all damage) your using a shot gun and a pistol that fires explosions so firearm range isn't being used any way.
That is burden of the destroyer actually, burden of the gambler disables weakspots but increases crit chance and damage

Barkskin trait points are wasted. With full heavy armor like you have you're already very close to the dr cap. Barskin is just redundant.
So the way the math works, you aren't at the cap with just bark skin and heavy armor (in this case the Leto mark 2) you'd still need fortify, stacks of bulwark & relic pieces.
The total Dr is still only at 61% with this build, pretty far away from the cap, I wouldn't consider it redundant tbh
But honestly as I said in the video the traits kinda up to you, as long as you have kinship and amplitude
You are talking nonsense again. The status effect durations are still bugged. When everything works as intended -65% duration means exactly -65% overall damage. Duration NEVER affects damage per tick, it only makes it longer or in this case shorter. Enjoy the bug while it lasts.
So it's just another bug like ENC did with status effects?
@@Fabbbio1001 well, ENC suffered from 2 bugs. One being the exact same as this where increasing status effect duration lowers your damage (or vice versa in this case), and the explosions triggering at an unintended frequency. The latter has been fixed. The former still plagues everyone, especially those playing a ritualist because you can't even get rid of the trait.
@@dukefx32 don't know if it's only a PC thing (because for example ENC didn't work on console). But I've been playing
with a "normal" Ritualist build and it seemed to do "correct" damage also in apocalypse so I don't know if it has lower damage than it should
How's it nonsense if what I explained is exactly what's happening? It'd be nonsense if I spoke on something that wasn't true.
Now whether the way it currently works is a bug or not is a different story, that's up to the devs, I'm not keeping track of everything that's supposedly bugged or isn't, I'm just trying to make cool builds. 👍

if that is true about what you said of the band of fanatic that it wont reduce your dmg then the ring is bugged or something because when i put on that ring it not only reduces the dot time but it also reduces the dmg on it because when i pick my shotgun for example i have a burn dot of 207 dmg on it when i slap on the band of the fanatic i get a burn dot of 170 the same goes for all the mutators that give dots like fetid wounds and twisting wounds so is it normal to reduce the dmg of status effect when the timer is reduced if its not then that ring is bugged and doesnt work properly
Seems people are saying it's bugged, I dunno, Ive just been testing fun builds and making videos on them haven't kept track of what's supposedly bugged and what isn't haha
@@the_takibofps well i don't either XD but i was wondering if it would be normal that the status dmg gets reduced if it also get status effect duration reduction because with some mutatorss it literally halves the dmg and reduces the duration from 20sec to 13.5sec but we'll see if its a bug or not later down the line
