On your right side of the handle bar is a throttle, roll it back and it should fix it. Instead of filming your awesome skills 😂
A number of people said Kawasaki forgot the horsepower. When they put it on the dyno the 350s had more. Maybe that new airbox is choking the power. I think it also has some smaller valves in the new engine.
is he hasnt used the rideology app yet that would explain the power issue the factory map 1 is made for new riders it acts as a govener so you can learn the bike and then bump the power up to a better mapping these hate comment are stupid you guys have no clue about the 2024 from factory theyre dogshit slow on the first mapping
It has a 10 hour power limiting break in period limits it to 40 hp for 10 hours

There is a rubber flap in the airbox , remove that and you get 1 horsepower. An aftermarket muffler will increse the power too. Im more worried abour reability . Last generation were known to blow up. I would defenitly buy it. Easy to ride = fast laptimes om the track.
Remove the air filter restrictor

It was removed. Small difference. Also seems odd that you gotta make modifications to a brand new 450 just to make it feel like a 450
@@motowensit's got the most comfortable chassis in the class. Rather chuck an exhaust on it and remap than have a ton of power and a nervous chassis.

Mostly all green for 24', I've seen dyno of it pulling more than my year bike. Must be settings.

Did you break it in the correct way ? Did you add any new mapping? Or you just got a lemon. I’ve been watching a lot of reviews and I’ve never heard anyone say anything bad about the 450 Kaw. Never rode a 450 so I couldn’t really tell you. My only guess is that it didn’t come tuned up correctly because that makes no sense that you can’t jump that one jump. Got me stumped. Hope you fix your problem or end up just getting a different bike. Good luck with whatever you do. I hope you end up correcting the issue because those bikes are cheap.✌️💯🙏🇺🇸🤙

All brand new bikes on or off road are extremely de tuned to that people aren't out there killing themselves the brand new 2024 Honda cbr1000RR-R only gives 27% throttle when given 100% input from the rider in 6th gear
I'm not a Kawasaki guy. But something is definitely wrong bc there's 2 traction control modes and 2 maps. He said he had it on the strongest map so what I assume is it's on the highest Traction control. Because Tc kills so much power or it's just not tuned right by the dealership

I heard when you pair your phone and try to customize the map with the light off, and then you save the map settings, it puts the bike in some sort of limp mode by accident greatly reducing power drastically by 15% (motor cross action magazine) had this issue, then of course if launch control is on it retards timing even further knocking off 4hp in the first 3 gears (I’ll bet both things combined caused this). There’s some steps that people follow to avoid this map tuning issue. I bet that’s what probably happen here. Something is clearly up in this video. These bikes put down like 54HP at the rear tire. YZ450F does like 57HP rear wheel. Either of these power levels should provide a similar experience in ride-ability and in a track it’s gonna be driver skill for sure. There are even maps that dyno less HP on the same bike, which feel stronger and more powerful in the seat. So clearly this makes me think the owner had the same issue and his bike was detuned or in limp mode some how.
This is a KX450F. These bikes are fast. But something is clearly up in the video here.

I have a cr 250 and a kx 450 and the 250 out rides the kx any day
It's a 450, so of course it's slow. Once you get the hang of a 450 you can move up to a 250. Put in the time on the Pro Circuit and you may someday handle the raw unadulterated power of the Honda CT110.
I would ask if you all followed the correct break-in procedure, which is not full throttle after you fill it with the first tank of fuel.

@@motowensthat bike has something going on with it that is off. It doesn’t sound normal in relation to one’s Ive heard in other videos. At some point maybe you’ll get to compare to another one directly. Hopefully you find there is an issue that once fixed brings it to life. It literally sounds like something is restricting it.

What’s yours and your buddy’s riders résumé? I’m not sure your ability’s are up to scratch to be giving out advice that the new 450 is too slow and not a good buy , take it to a proper motocross track not just a sand turn and a hill jump.
He mostly ride sand and did say for their type of riding it was underpowered
