- I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a 2024 yz250f. This is my first reaction to it, breaking it in, and ripping it around!

As someone who just bought this same bike coming off of only ever owning a yz125 and yz250 2 stroke (I still have them) you are NOT crazy about the front wheel. 4 strokes have way better weight distribution between both wheels. You don’t realize how light the front end is on a 2 stroke until you ride a 4 stroke. That was literally my first thought when I first rode my buddies 23 yz250f
That bike is gorgeous! Totally want one, but I’m older, mid 50s, and don’t know anyone who wants to do this with me.😢

Nice Vid! I recently got a 2024 YZ250F. Been riding a 2018 YZ125. What a difference in machines lol. I was at Wicomico Saturday of grand opening weekend.

Track looks fun, the bike reviews on the 24 are very far off reality of ownership. This new 250F is absolutely amazing. Wait till 3-4 hours when the suspension breaks in a bit more, it is such a fun bike bone stock. Great, usable power everywhere.

About to pull the trigger on this bike. I have a 250cc stroke for woods.
I heard the foot pegs are weird, any truth to that?
The mounts are a little weird. The shape of the mounts make it hard to keep your feet tight to the frame. It's kinda hard to explain. I would just recommend not only sitting on one but standing on one as well.
should i get a yz250f or a crf250r
I have not a rode a crf250r in a very long time, let alone a newer one. All I can say is I really like the yz250f so far.
Does it matter what height to ride the dirt bike you have ?
Not really, as long as you can stay up right when you stop by touching with a toe/foot, that is really all that matters.
