  • In this video I show you how we clean out the heifer barns. Also, the white tractor starts smoking bad and we have to pull it off the spreader. Thanks for watching and the support!

    Who's the drone operator they're pretty good at it. Do you use round up ready corn and check for weeds with your drone and spot spray problem areas. I know guys that do that and have said it really improved their yields.

      It's older that kip. It goes back to the twentys or thirties and may have come originally with steel wheels the hydraulic ram isn't original either. It would have originally been adjusted with several long levers to raise and lower and adjust various things it may have even been horse drawn in which case there would have been an iron slotted seat on it to sit on while it was pulled by either a team of horses or an steam tractor of some type.

    My niece and her husband live over in Birch Run and both him & his dad are milk haulers. They have massive trucks. I think they are 40-wheelers! Take Care All Dairy Farmers! God Bless All Farmers!!

    Something about clean barn floors even though it's only temporary is very satisfying ! Fresh bedding and instant happy cows ! Nice paint on the plow , clean little disk , popular around here also for food plots and big gardeners!! Glad you still have a market for your milk ! Have you seen That Oliver Guys channel Chris Losey knows those Whites inside and out and is in Michigan I believe !

    the JD disc is a model KB four gang wheel disc from the early 1950's

    I'm looking for a set of discs just like that! I have a JD 5055e and I'm just turning some old fallow fields on my family's farm into some hay fields, need to chop up some briars and weeds after I burn em down. I'm in NW PA, not sure how far away you are.

    I finally found a 8 ft disk like that but bearings are shot in it but I load it up on grease and it's good enough to do a couple acres at a time for me. Got it a couple years ago and I searched a couple years before I found it. Wasn't cheap either.

    Great video Kip,thanks for sharing your life on the farm. It's not like when I was young, you used to see all kind of farms around,not now a lot of them went under. I think it took a lot out the state of Pennsylvania.

    one time my dad had to put a new engine in a 2-155 because it locked up, and when they took it apart the crankshaft was blue because of loss of oil pressure

    Most commonly what happens with those whites are that the rings go out so you get bad compression which causes it to start smoking. It’s good that you stopped that early

    My great grand father had a jd disc just like that one. He bought it in the late 50s. My uncle said it was here before he was he was born in 62

      @@KipSieglerFarming1 Thank you for the videos my grand parents dairy which I grew up was set up about the same as your family's farm. About the only difference is they had 3 silos and a bunker and International Red equipment. Both grand parents and parents are gone now. But watching your videos keeps all the great memories alive for me. Thank you again.

    Looks like you had some wheat going out the back of the combine. We bale lots of our corn stalk bales in the spring their extra dry an bale good

    If i had the money i might have been interested in that disc. I use dads old JD Killefer disc thats 6ft wide and those open and close for transport so it dont lift. Of coarse i would have to instlall a shut off for the loader hydraulics since i have single remote on my JD 520

    We quit milking 3 years ago, Dairy farms are dropping like flies around here. 12 milk again now, lots of guys sick of working your ass off and losing money every day

    Those wheels almost look older than that disk. Those wheels look like 30's or 40's vintage to me? Didn't Deere run solid type rims in the 50's, like what's on the rear of a 55 combine? I guess is Google Image time.

    Kip, I see dual wheels on all your tractors- is that purely for ground compression reasons or something else. In the UK, you rarely see duals unless it's drilling time etc

      Different states have been dumping, Michigan not yet. Due to restaurants and schools not using milk, and exports are down. We produce to much of it
