This is why I would much prefer a Stormtrooper show or game over a Clone one. We've seen enough of the Clones and although they if course developed different personalities, Stormtroopers being recruits would have vastly more diversity of backgrounds and personalities. And would be a lot more relatable to us.

You gotta love the consideration of keeping veteran clones to be higher ranks in the Empire. Born for war, trained from birth, prepared to die fighting. They were definitely the best the Empire had during their early days before the clones eventually died to their rapid aging. Only if they stopped aging by the adult stage, the Empire would've kept that kind of force for a few more decades.

Even at the Galactic Starcruiser, a hotel that was specifically for LARPing in a “choose your own adventure” storyline would shoehorn people who attempted to assist or participate with the First Order got forced into helping the Resistance (as Jenny Nicholson pointed out in her 4 hour video breakdown on the place). It’s like Disney/LucasFilm has no balls to do a “Bad Guy” storyline with Star Wars at all. And you can’t really use the “muh endorsing fascism” argument with the Empire, considering that 40k fans are all about the Imperium of Man: And the shit the Imperium does makes the Empire and Papa Palpatine seem tame in comparison

Is it really the empire which starts the cycle? No. Rebels involve civilians in warfare, that's terroristical way of fighting. Rebels tend to blow up stuff. Slave station, a cruiser that's transporting some huge ass mineral, whatever else to sabotage the empire and it does not end with war infrastructure at all. Rebels encourage terrorism like manufactoring bad equipment that overheats and leads to deaths, but it's not the limit of it. What does empire do? Empire responds to all those threats so civilians suffer, because rebels involved them. If you could argue rebels are terrorists or not, this isn't even a debate they're war criminals

There's one particular trooper I feel bad for killing in Fallen Order. It was on Zeffo, I was in one of the underground secrions, and I was coming down a set of stairs when I saw the trooper standing next to a ledge, facing away from me. I saw a perfect opportunity to force push him (I bet most of us did ha) so I went for it and pushed him, but the sound of his surprise caught me off guard. He made this frantic little gasp as he went over the edge, and it genuinely made me feel awful lol. He was just chilling, standing there minding his business just like I've had to do in my time in the marines, and I killed him. 🫢
