Are these impact driver safe?

They are "impact rated", but I personally would choose to use our 4-in-1 Modular Drill and Driver in a cordless drill instead for 2 reasons. More precision, and less wear on the Modular Drill and Driver tool. The newer impact drivers are becoming more and more powerful each year, and the torque does wear on the components that make the receiver mechanism work properly.

My countersink bits are just spinning. I put the bit wirh the flat side facing the set screw, as instructed. I didn't over tighten. Now I've got 2 #6 bits stuck in wood. Can't get them out. Can someone please help?

We probably need more details to know what is going on for sure, but I would guess that the set screw is stripped and is not giving enough pressure to hold the drill. We have replacement kits, and we also have a limited lifetime warranty that may apply here.
