One of the main reasons people tuned in was because he was sharp during this run, not only a sharp toungue but also his technical standup was oozing with confidence backed by a sold out crowd all rooting for him. Then the bitter taste of monetary success slowly took a toll on him. That and because Khabib had the perfect style shut down 90% of his tools by smothering him with not only takedowns, but just the mere threat of ONE takedown. Khabib does not let go so that must have been deep in his mind, he smothered his confidence as well and that's all I can say about that. Alcohol in every part of his outside life (a business as well as drinking his business) ruined that sharp Conor I used to look forward to tuning into. Atleast he can milk the sharp toungue til even that ability whithers away. I hope he tunes it down with the alcohol in every aspect of his life now or stop comlpetely. Being sober sharpens that mind and allows you to train to your potential. 🙏😑 -Jiga Chandler

The time when I was a fan of Conor McGregor 😊
Hé was so good, his fluidity, agility, dexterity, timing, counters, creativity... was insane !
Man, after the Floyd fight he became completely different and not motivated anymore.. he drink a lot and did weird things..
    Sad..

If I remember correctly this really was the first time Connor got hit a shit ton of times, and could of easily maybe lost the fight if it went all 5 rounds or he could of possibly been finished. It was the first time I remember someone actually gave him a fight and he took a ton of damage in just 2 rounds

He wasn’t trying to pack on muscle, so his stamina was easier to maintain.
He would light-spar for hours, giving him a fantastic feeling for timing and distance.
He wasn’t *trying* to knock people out, he would mix up his attacks while directing his opponent to where he wanted them to be, and get them to fall into traps.
    That was prime McGregor.
