Wideman didn’t even hit a referee for missing a call. He hit a linesman who doesn’t make those kinds of calls. Wtf?

2013 was Ottawa's year. They had Anderson leading the league in GAA get hurt, Karlsson get hurt, somehow got the 7 seed with a 40 year old Alfredsson dealing with back injuries, and even beat the 2 seed in the first round. Had this stuff not happened, they'd have easily been a top 3 seed and you never know, it felt like their year honestly.
Crosby did get in the handshake line, just after everyone else lined up. I saw the photos of Sid in the line.
Dishonorable mention: Marty McSorley on Donald Brashear.

I'll never forget that Bertuzzi hit. There are so many more. This is more of a modern day version and the list could run in the thousands.

Putting Cujo’s incident on this list is a stretch. I don’t find disrespectful…it was simply a mistake. He didn’t intentionally take down the official and he didn’t throw his blocker at the referee as you state, that can be clearly seen in the replay.
I want to humbly thank Mario Tromble for leaving Patrick Roy in the game. Because of you my Avs got one of the best goalies ever and helped us to two Cups.

Being a lifeling Flyers fan they should have dumped Lindros right then. The fans & the city freaking loved "Hot Rod" Brind'Amour. Also your coverage makes it sound as if they traded both guys because of this. Lindros left later after injuries & other malcontentness.

The beef between Roy and his coach was political. If I remember correctly, Roy was a federalist and the coach was a separatist. As a result, they didn't get along.

I remember watching the Bertuzzi/Moore game live. I was in my early 20s and both myself & my buddy had too many drinks. A neighbor called the cops on us for a "noise disturbance". lol Lucky the cops were feeling nice that evening.

That’s correct the Steve Moore incident was the worst. My understanding it was a hit on the Canucks captain Nasland (which was clean) that Burtuzzi didn’t like.

Wideman claims he didn't see him till last second but in video it looks like it'd have been hard to not see the ref when he was skating right at him and ref was slowly going backwards towards him!? If he's telling truth then he must've been really rocked from the hit he took b4 he hit ref cuz he definitely shouldve seen the ref cuz he was skating right at him for a Lil bit there!? Sure, hockey was rough back then, but permanently destroying someone’s life like that isn’t sport. 68 million would probably end up 1/3 spent on attorney fees, and 1/3 spent on medical expenses - at the very least.

Why no context to Bertuzzi’s actions? Moore concussed the Canucks star forward, Naslund in the previous game. Moore refused to fight anyone during the game, while the Canucks tried to instigate fights. Then Bertuzzi despicably jumped on Moores back and slammed his face into the ice. It was disgusting, but bertuzzi didn’t just randomly attack him for no reason.
Totally on purpose anyone that has laced up skates before and played hockey knows that was intentional.

This video is incorrect. The league did suspend that coach for game 4. But he went to a local politician who went to the New Jersey Supreme Court, the court reversed the suspension and put a restraining order on the nhl for the coach. The refs weren’t happy about that and that’s why they didn’t play. If you’re gunna tell a story. Get the facts
