lol 2 strokes are meant to light plus for there weight that extra HP don't make any difference like stock can destroy 250f bikes but then again a 300cc ported with a pro circuit to carbon shorty pipe with light weight clutch and wheel and engine ceramic bearings plus lighter rims lighter foot pegs it will be fun to ride a 102kg of bike after taking 1kg of extra weight of it

The “HOT” STIC vs TPI Fuel injection:
Extensive dyno testing reveals the STIC metering block installed in a Keihin Air Striker has lower emissions and greater performance than the TPI. The STIC/Keihin system compensates for altitude and temperature changes. The STIC is able to sense which engine it is on and to calibrate vapor production as well as air/fuel flow accordingly. In two separate parts of the world; Japan, KTM 250; and in the United States [New Mexico] a Husqvarna 300; they both run identical jetting. With the STIC the same jetting applies from sea level to +9000 feet. I am anxious to see Mark’s driving impression of his 2019 TPI compared to his 2017 with the Keihin A/S STIC equipped.

Put fuel injection and direct injection into production for the two strokes please!, Now! This will rid the Cal emmissions bull crap and fix other common carb issues of the past.
And finally Now, Just change back the class rules so 2 strokes and 4 strokes will compete fairly in their apropriate classes again. This will only be a win win for manufacturers and consumers(called common sense!).

the bottom end just ISN'T there like a 4stroke. don't get me wrong I LOVE 2stroke just like anyone WHO REALLY KNOWS BIKES. But he couldn't even Double Double going up hill there's no bottom end like a 4stroke

right, but so many just toss this carb from other bikes. Keihin must be better cuz the yahoos in computerland say so. Then they proclaim a success due to the expense, but couldn't jet either. Pretty excited about this bike and the carb, gonna work great.

Huge power difference
I have been out of motocross since they started racing the 4 strokes so it has been years.Does this mean they are going to start building the 2 strokes again in all brands? I never could get into the sound of the 4 strokes and thought it was silly sounding and almost embarrassing,The sound,power band,look,etc is all part of it.I would like to see them come back.Not sure how the EPA can control this when they are racing all kinds of cars,using weed eaters,chainsaws,etc that put out pollution.U have also heard Houston no longer has a supercross which meant the sport was dieing out.Part of this is that the kids today are just not into the tough stuff.They play video games and baseball at best.The bikes also became so expensive that they are waaay out of reach for most of the middle class which also killed the sport.

lol there is a difference in displacement vs HP but if we were talking straight track drag race 450cc wins but if it was a tight track where a lighter bike is required a 450cc will be eating dust instead.

lol, are you guys serious? You do not know the difference? Four stroke has cam and valves, and has four cycles. Intake, compression , power, exhaust. Two stroke has no valves or cam. The piston acts as the valves for intake and exhaust and it has a power stroke every time the piston goes up.
Thats why it makes so much power and doesn't weight that much. And you can work on them with a butter knife. And to rebuild the top end all you need is a piston and gaskets and spark plug, and it only takes an hour.
Motocross is for the rich kids now.

+kmyers18 can't you guys get over the fact that 4 strokes are the preferred motocross machine.. they have some broader power curve meaning they are faster in more areas on the track.
lol your wrong if we are talking 250cc vs 450cc but 250cc vs 250cc 2 strokes destroy the same cc to cc but a 450cc on straights will out run 2 stroke 250cc but a 250cc with a 300cc kit will be the best and the most fun light bike ever made like some people love heavy bikes but some prefer the lighter but controlleable with more than enough power we don't need big big bore bikes all bikes cam do 60mph on the track but the lighter bike has its place intill it hits the straights then the lazy fat cunts on 450cc are like should of got a bigger cc bike that's bullshit because everyone feels comfortable on a lighter bike and squeeze everything out of it I rather hold it open than have a heavy 450cc and only use half the power it's not fun when you can't use it to its full potential MX is meant to be fun not boring and you should be able to just hold a bike wide open and enjoy the fun
