Every single time I listen to Iyanla Vanzant, I receive something from her, some kind of knowledge that I didn't have before. She is an amazing person and I love her...btw I am white and her connection to me is NOTHING to do with race, we are humans first and this has nothing to do with race, it's called connection of souls.
Same here.🥰🙏🙏👍
Her name is Iyanla
@@rosaway2345 I made a mistake.
Yes she is very inspiring person. Why bring up your race though?
There are no words to express how much we love this amazing Queen. She is royalty, and you were privileged to interview her. We love you ❤ Iyanla. Great interview 😊
No words beloved (in her voice) 🥰
@keiarapayne3206 she's just that person that makes you reflect. Go deep
I need Iyanla to open a bootcamp every summer or winter for us young women especially for people like myself who grew up without mothers, there’s a big void in us that require a mother and teacher like her
I think The R Spot is her school.. if you type it in CZcams lots of old videos come up of her seminars and classes .. Idk if she still does them like that
Gurl !! I had my mom till she was 71 and I want to sit at Iyanla's feet !!!
I feel the same way I kinda had my emotionally and abused/abusive mother who gave me up. Whole life is trauma void is huge for me
Iyanla is the elder I’ve always needed. I don’t have elders that pour into me like this. I’m grateful for her existence and the gift she still choose to share
May I be one of the million Dr. Iyanla awakens pls!
Aww yellow is my grandmother color that just warmed my heart ❤️
She's Deceased 1910-1993 rip 💛
Ms.Iyanla young women really need to hear from you . The more I listen to social media and hear women speak to younger women that because of their bad choices they want others to follow their path. Whatever platform you are missed and very relevant!
Thank you sooo much for just speaking for I a young woman that's needs to hear her n need work
@WilliamsPinch so right Thak you. Have a great day 💛
They'll be going to the dark ages it'll be more of men mistreating them.

Queen Iyanla speaks life each time she opens her mouth. In such a humble and relatable way, yet so profound. Thank you💛💛
Thank you for this interview. My deep Gratitude from Guadeloupe. I love to see our emotional intelligence rising... Seeing 2 beautiful women exchanging like that 😍💖💕
Act's of faith was the first piece of work i've brought from Iyanda. It was a tape. I brought from Robin's book store in Philadelphia. I was in the store looking for a birthday card for one of my brothers as i was looking i heard over the intercom system someone talking. I found the card, but kept walkkng around because what i was hearing sounded so interested,so when the talking stopped i went up to the counter and asked who was that, and they said a tape from Iyanda Vazant called (Act's of Faith) for people of all colors. I'm so grateful at that time i had extra cash on me,so i brought the tape. As of today.I have aleast 8 of her books. The last book i brought was (Peace from broken Pieces) i purchased in 2010 i was home receiving treatment from 2x time cancer, same as her daughter had that left us. What another beautiful encouraging Bless✝️💞 soul Ms Iyanda that the Lord has given to All of us that will listen& pay attention. Thank you My Father in Heaven. ✝️🙏🏽💞
I feel just like that woman. She saved my life with the God gift within her. Elder we love and respect you!
I kinda want her to unpack the fact that "it'll keep bringing it back to you, if you don't get it". Lessons
I believe this. If there is a lesson to be taught and you don’t learn it the first time, the universe repeats it.
Daaaamn....I say that to myself!!! About the mother/father statement...I'm working on it....ayiyi....please release the mother book today!!!!
I love the idea of full bloom because when flowers are at full bloom, they are at their Pinnacle! Some fragrant, some not, but giving their gift to the world! It is lateral with life! ❤
I'm crying my eyes out having three children not knowing about this LOVE LANGUAGE ❤❤❤
I love how she shows her vulnerabilities
Dr Vanzant is living her truth: so inspirational.❤❤❤
What nourishment Dr Vanzant provides. Thank you for the interview.
Ashley well done! This is a great interview.
I can relate with this 😢
Oh my oh my… the depths to which this touched my soul. When you talked about fathering your children. I have dealt with immense guilt with my shortcomings in raising my children. So much of your testimony rings in my inner thoughts. I could say more but don’t have time.
If I hadn’t spent 30 minutes putting on lashes and was driving at the time I would have cried out in the fetal position. However, life doesn’t stop. Thank you! Thank you! Your work is big. Both of yours! ❤
So very meaningful! These conversations, this book, our healing work will shift the culture.
Keep going Iyanla 👑
Where did Iyanla learn all this?
I am amazed. Now I know where I come from, and I can forgive myself .
I am 73.❤
Personal development course is the best thing I’ve ever done
I can't wait to meet you, I've been isolated and healing parts of myself I didn't know existed. I'm so inspired by you Ms. Iyanla your job here on planet earth is real. I'm not famous but I'm authentic. Thank you for your contribution ❤️
This was both meaningful and moving. Fan for 27 years 💘💘💘💘
I can't wait for the book as well!
Thank you 😊❤❤❤
Beloved. I appreciate you walking in your gift in front of the world. Showing a different type of counseling, intervention that didn't let you off the hook of your own life. You had to face yourself and your part in it. The Starting Over House was amazing. The tools and modalities you used to get people to SEE themselves, when they refused to, although they were begging for help. And ooohhh that time you apologized to Oprah. I enjoy that you own yourself now! You are your own everything, so you can continue to share your gift with zero restraints. ❤
Such an inspiration! Her books took me out of a deep depression, she literally saved my life❤❤❤
Dr. Vanzant thank you ❤
Mothering and fathering.... profound. Watching in from Uganda... I love watching and listening to you Iyanla.. have done this for years
You ask great and different questions. Kudos to you.
As always. Ms. Vanzant never disappoints. So many pearls of wisdom shared. Thank you to the young Queen who created this podcast and uses it to help us all learn and grow.
Why do we play so small. I think we think nothing about what we do here on earth. We're just passing through, doing what we do as we journey on our way back "Home".
No recognition necessary. It's just the way some of us were designed
Many mothers are fathers...Whoa that blew my bangs back!!!
Great job, Ashley. I love the thoughtful questions you asked. I totally agree that parents need to share more of their stories with their children as they mature. Keep up the good work!
This podcast fed my soul. Thank you both for this conversation.
Thank you Dr. Iyanla. I have been a problem child from birth and always told so. It has caused me tremendous hurt and pain all my life and too often I forget that I am a divine, unique creation of God. Rarely are we reminded of this as women of colour. I prayer that I understand that for the rest of my life. Thank you Mam, I have been a fan since the 1990's. You have blown me away, my Mum has been an absentee father who is unwilling to become a Mother and learn and grow and my father has passed, so there is no more growth. Once again, thank you Mam ❤
Phenomenal Woman....❤
Love this!!!
I'm so sorry for the loss of your children 😢i loss my only child 8 years ago it was really, really hard for me its something you never get over 😢it really changed who I am may God Bless and keep you 🙏 ❤️ ♥️
Love you, Dr. Vanzant.
I NEVER heard about this story about her mother being drunk and not knowing she was in labor and being born in a cab. Wow. Iyanla needs to talk about this part to free people, cause it freed me.
Im so saddened to hear Iyanla lost a second child. May God give her peace and comfort. We know there is no real tragedy in death, its simply a transition... but the hole and the pain is not a joke. We miss them so much. Till we meet again
Ask the questions b4 your parents are no longer here. Amennnnn 😢
What's most important is what people are left with experiencing Dr. Vanzant lingers for a lifetime, that was perfectly stated
I LOVE LOVE THIS LADY AND HER WISDOM...SOOO MUCH RESPECT!!❤❤
"There is a distinction between mothering and fathering." An absolute 'aha' moment. Thank you Dr. Vanzant❤️
Wow !! How did you get a podcast on OWN’s channel? So amazing !!! And, I loveeeeee you for getting Ms. Iyanla to speak again. I just ran into her in person yesterday. It reminded me of how much I crave her insight.
Waiting on the book❤ thank you Ms.iyanla
I relate to many of what Iyanla has shared as a person, woman, and mother. So revelatory and relatable. I'm so grateful to catch this.

Hey everyone it's Ms Olivia Demi Kesley owner of hip-hop entertainment live

How do you find out what your child’s love language is?
That’s a good question. I think that the signs are there usually. For example, With my child she’s does physical contact ( she jumps on you, hugs, and kisses, she hugs her friends when she sees them) so I know her love language is physical contact. Try to pay attention to some of the actions you see you child do or maybe what they say to you or their friends If it’s“affirmation”. Hopefully this helps.
@@s3572dc yes it does. Thnx so much. I really appreciate it. Gods speed keep doing the lord’s work
God love her losing children.❤❤❤❤
Yeeesss, PLEASE help our men
Why are not mentioning the Carribean portion of crown heights, Flatbush or east flatbush 😢
Blame her head not her heart 💜
I’m in my 40s and I forget things all the time 😅
Who cares. Why are Caribbean people so pressed all the time?
If these children are millionaires, there is nothing wrong with them buying their parents a house if they are not in a good space in their life. If the house is paid off if the child ever needs to go back home in the future, they will have a beautiful home to come back to and regroup.
Just because it isn’t wrong doesn’t make it right. Many times, this is a Black tax. Some - not all - athletes are young men and women coming from less than ideal situations. It is not their *responsibility* to hold up the family in this way. That’s what Dr. meant by allowing them to be young people. That’s a burden that doesn’t belong to them.
@@leahharrison6244 I fully understand what she is saying. However, it is the right thing to do to help your family. If newly minted children are blowing millions in strip clubs "making it rain;" buying expensive designer clothes, making the rich folks richer; buying Rolls Royces; and doing other forms of outlandish capitalist spending, while their family could hardly afford groceries and living in high crime dangerous areas then it is selfish and greedy. Nobody made it to the top alone. And just know that every parent is not a good parent, as we all know, so good ones should be honored. Children don't owe parents, parents owe children, but many parents drop the ball! So if you have parents that did you righteous and helped you become who you are it is the Godly thing to do to help them, not be burdened by having to support them, or being used as the family bank that is not what I am saying. However, to help them move to a safe environment and be comfortable, to help them be able to generate some money on their own by helping them start a little online business or something is a good thing and the right thing to do. God blesses you for that, and what you give out will always come back blessed and magnified. That is the law of reciprocity. Dr. Minister Vanzant taught us about the universal laws in the classes I have taken with her. She told us when her sweet, eldest daughter got sick from cancer and was passing she financially took care of both households. This is what real family is and what love looks in motion as a verb! Even the military says "No man left behind." Period!
I like to meet you
Have a great thanksgiving
