Thanks for the feedback! I will try to stay more on point from now on :)
I used to do this same trick in a very different way, and just got amazed by your psychological arguments.
Congrats for a fabulous tutorial, man. It's been a revelation to me!
Thanks so much 52K! I had this trick in my repertoire for years, but I took a decade long break from magic and completely forgot about jazz aces. I originally learned it from a Michael Ammar video - he did something to change to pace of the constant repetitive addition as well but you did an amazing job with that problem as well.
Do you have any tutorials on the linking card rings? I believe that is the name of the trick. Basically what happens is cards are torn such that there are holes in the middle. They are then linked together and separated.
Also, I'm sure you know they trick, but with your following you should show the gemini twins. Out of the 100 some odd tricks I used to do, gemini twins and a version I invented of the clock got the best reactions. The clock routine I do was always what I saved for my finale.
You're light years ahead of me now (even though I'm 32 and was doing jazz aces at 15 so I should be farther along - but there is a reason I took a 10 plus year hiatus). That being said, I would love to show you the clock effect I do. And if you for some reason don't know gemini twins, I'll be happy to show you.. Thanks for everything and most of all for getting me back handling cards. One of my favorite hobbies was robbed of me and you have helped motivate me to become as good as I was in high school and soon surpass it. Thanks a bunch. There are other tricks I can share with you as well that I don't see in your tutorials that you are welcome to teach (assuming you don't know them). Let me know and when you have time. Thx Again!
I like the little changes, I personally think that they make it better.
They are indeed custom. You can find more info about them and where to get them in the description box.
Brilliant version of Jazz Aces. I learned it from a Michael Ammar DVD but this version is much better. Thanks.
your tricks are seriously awesome. very good tutorials. keep up the good work!
Love the tutorial :D Very detailed and great method of teaching! Keep up the good work!
awesome tutorial bro. keep up the good work
I have now seen al of your videos and they were all AWESOME!!!!! Your welcome
You are a very good teacher! The only complaint I have is that you're teaching how to perform the trick, rather than the trick itself. It sounds kinda like I just wanna learn the trick without learning anything else, but really I think it should be up to the magician as to how to perform the trick itself. Great videos though!
Nice trick! I've been looking for another application of the Elmsley Count other than the Twisting the Aces trick and this one really is a good way to apply it and get more practice at it. Awesome!
Clean good trick, and beautiful lookin cards.
thanks mate! you really made this tutorial clear and super easy to follow! thanks again!
Great tutorial! I figured out the stealing start and the elmsley counts, I just couldn't get how the last two aces were in the right order. And the solution was so easy. Great.
Really nice tutorial for a really nice impromptu card trick !
I like your handling of the Elmsley... It's one of the few sleights I find difficult to make convincing especially face up so I think I'll take on board some of the stuff you talked about and see if I can make it work for me.
Brilliant trick, u definitely have a way with words !! Keep up excellent work - Steve.
I really like this trick, thanks for the tutorial I keep practicing evey day. I am a huge fan of your channel keep up with the teaching you have a great sense for it.
Btw I have the same deck, i think this is the most beautiful deck :)
This is a great tutorial, an absolute beginner like me learned the basic version in less than half an hour and got decent enough to "perform" during my magic the gathering game in about an hour.
really nice tutorial ... gave a lot inspiration , thank you
Beautiful trick ❤
great tutorial! thanks!
your method for the third ace is very clever and your elmsley is really nice ;-) good job man !
One of the Best Tricks i have ever seen and wonderful tutorial other than being long haha
do you think you could do a tutorial on the Le Paul s spread? I can't seem to find a good tutorial on it and you give the best tutorials I've ever seen. Thanks!
you make it sooo easy to learn tricks cause your voice is sooo soft :D
Awesome trick! Love it. I experimented with it a little. I think that if you show the aces BEFORE you put them in the middle of the hand packet, do the count and put them on the leading ace but DO NOT show them and leave with the back part showing up. Continue the same (show, in packet, disappear , put on leading ace face DOWN) till you finish and you are left with 1 face up and 3 face down aces. Reveal.
hey Asad you're a great teacher, I love your tutorials. Your website is really good, with loads of good decks, but why isn't the White Knuckle deck that you used in this trick available in the UK?
Okay, now I have to learn the Elmsey count. I found a packet with the gimmicked cards for "Final Aces Routine" and was surfing through to find a good video to learn it but soon discovered that the routine is very old and no longer produced. :( "Jazz Aces" is the perfect solution for me. It is the same basic effect except since it's not gimmicked it will take me a while master but at least it ends much cleaner. I like the fact that everything can be examined, which is a really good trade off.
simple and awesome!
amazing tutorial....Thanks man :)
Awesome Trick!
I love the Elemsley count!! The most beautiful false count :)
Thanks, Great Trick has a good effect and not hard to do. ;)
sooooooo great!
Thanks for this wonderfull tutorial!!! :)
You really should show the trick first. I know you normally do. it would have helped a ton, thanks man you're great!!
You mentioned a different way to load card on a square up motion, I'd like to c it !!
I'd agree to that, actually. But I also think that for beginners, teaching the entire performance of it can be detrimental because it restricts the magician's creativity. It's up to the magician to make those "aha!" moments, and if they can't, they need to work a better performance. Its nothing that doesn't come with time and practice. I guess there's two schools of thought on this.
Cool trick! Tnx !
awesome!!
I love your cards where do you gets yours? Or are they custom made?
best Jazz Aces tutorial
YOU ARE AMAZING!
Thanks bro!
Cool cards :)
I love Michael Ammars Performance of this trick :D
Hi Asad, this is really a very cool trick and I love the personal touches you ad into it but I would like to know the name of that "fancy square move" you did in the performance, it would be great if you teach it to us!
Congrats!
Sorry for the english. ;)
i like it
dude
Great..Thanks a lot
Thx . But what's with the camera
sick thanks
@mrlaser9027 dont worry he has already one of his contests
Awesome!!!! D
Hello, thanks for the videos, I have a question. How do you prevent people of touching the cards on the table during a trick? If you tell them "do not touch" this would make them more curious I guess...
Real cool màgic trick
hi i really like your videos! u r great! which are ur origins?im asking because ok "asad" in mine language in means free! i would like to know precisly the "valentine" trick 'cause i know some moves but id like to know how to do it precisly!
I'm inclined to offer a counterpoint--the survival of magic as an art form after the advent of the net depends on magicians still learning how to perform, not just how to do secrets. The more we encourage performance, the less we have people spoiling good effects by slopping doing "secrets" and revealing things.
How did you Do the "fancy square up move" ?
It was a double lift
just a little comment, elmsley count can be done face-up, just need to misdirect your audience, keep their attention from your first card~ And in the video sixes and fives are used to confuse your audience~ and for me, I usually turn the faces towards myself or even switch the first and second card when spreading the four cards, trust me, it will work =D
Elmsley count works only with face-down cards!
The first and the last card cannot be the same!
What a voice!
great trick, but that glare on the cards is annoying.;..
your very good at elmsly
@Mortke White Knuckles Deck
This is y I subscribe to you
A great trick, the only thing I don't like is that when you handle the aces carefully, people might think that's when you are doing a move
@tricksshomagic1 If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. I personally enjoyed the tutorial.
When I did the elmsley Count, the ace was still the second from the top... Help? Good tut btw :)
reminds me of the trick Devil's Elevator
Okeydokes Thanking you
What deck are you using?
Hi
Could u do a tutorial on how you stole the card in the performance???
Yeah. I like it ^_______^
Misspelled Elmsley at 5:41
great trick Engr. Asad Chaudhry ^^ i saw ur asadchaudhry2006 channel. hehehe
Callously is the word you were looking for
Asad I must admit you're very good teacher, but the only thing I'd like u change is to keep talk more straight, for example you pull 1st "how to" move and then start talking about magical gestures and stuff. I say this because I believe people forget what they had to do as I did so they have to watch video few more times and they get confused. I hope you understand what I wanted to say. Greetings and once again you are a great teacher and keep it like that.
im mad lol u didnt even get in mismag822s contest!
The trick starts at 1:40
Hey!!!! Ernndogg2000 this trick is not lame
Easily to understand you, however, your process in explaining was somewhat off! Thanks for the video. Happy thoughts, San Diego, Laters
Man.... I know he's teaching the trick but are you trying to shoot the video while your mom sleeps next to you? speak up bro! I almost died there....
dude I Q How Old Are You ?16
isnt it weird if the audience notices that the same card shows up twice when you do the elmsley count
thts why you use black 5's and 6's it kinda camouflages the cards an if you do it quick it wont rlly be noticed
lots of glare but good vid
what?..
1 person was tricked by the tutorial
you shoudn't stay more to the point Cause everything you say is important to learn.
Why don't you split it up. Start whit explaining the trick and do exstra at the end
так в чем суть фокуса?????говорит-говорит что то а что делает-совсем не понятно!Каши мало ел что ли?побыстрее нельзя говорить?все равно ничего не понятно что говоришь-хоть увидеть в чем смысл?
Jesus Christ hurray up, you ramble on so much
Wow you talk a lot get to the point great trick tho
I fell asleep... too much gab.
Please stop teaching other peoples material :(
