Explore Gufufoss Waterfall in Iceland

Gufufoss Waterfall in East Iceland is less crowded and it is along the way to Seydisfjordur(Seyðisfjörður) in the EastFjords. If you drive to Seydisfjordur in the East Fjords, you will see Gufufoss Waterfall off to the right.
If you watched the movie, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty", you would recognize Gufufoss Waterfall. The waterfall is just a short walk from the car pull-off area.

The magic of Hollywood! Many of the other scenes take place on the other side of the island. I always thought this waterfall was also in the Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
