Damn he still has that voice.
Exactly the same amazing
Because he isn't singing. He's basically speaking in baritone with a melodie.
Tomáš Hanzel
Yes....
It’s his.
Patrizia Corleone
How can this be?
They wrote it....it’s alchemy
A voice like that doesn't go away.
We couldn't quite explain it,
It had always just been there.
26 years ago was driving my preignant wife to hospital listening to that song ,full moon night, and my son born on Friday 17th 1994...he still love this song, unforgettable I do love it
Lionel Messi, how old are you, i thought you were a Fottballer;)
Once... there was a a man who... drove his pregnant wife listening a humming song...
When you hear this song and these vocals for the first time, you never ever forget them.
Anton Chigurh
@@JuanCarlos-li4qq MMM MMM MMM MMM MMM MMM MMM...MOSS.
Yeah because they’re terrible.
@@brittstinson was just thinking that…. Holy shit. This is the first time hearing this band and they are garbage.
Lo
I want my 90's back :(
me too
I want him to sing like in the 90s
You’re not alone anymore 😉
let’s get back in the best years of all times !!!
i miss the 90s they were better than this depressing modern mess were living in now
sounds like you all need a time machine, 1 billion gets u a week, any time
Usually when artists have been around they have a harder time hitting the higher notes. He did it right by writing a song that's so low he sounds better with age. :)
Woa it's Mike! I keep running into your comments under music and Bill Hicks vids. Happy Holidays bro! 😃
Lolol nice
It warms me that you are watching this video lol
are u done pouring your thoughts out ?
:D
Always makes me think of the bit in Dumb and Dumber when Jim C turns up on the tiny motorcycle to pick up his friend... This song plays, lovely
Just When I Think You Couldn't Possibly Be Any Dumber, You Go and Do Something Like This.. and Totally Redeem Yourself.
Me too
Me too!
nah, it's when harry dunne first walks "home" that the ah ah interlude plays
Does it?!?!?!?!? Guess I'm watching dumb and dumbed.
Songs like this make me realize how priceless it is to have been a teen in the 90s. I can tell this guy is very very nice, so happy he still has as much love for this song as we do.
I think I really took for granted living in decades where good music was constantly produced. Young ppl today will never know what it’s like..
@@lukejames4958I'm 65 and I like this music. It's a timeless classic regardless of which generation listens to it.
His voice has aged , but god bless him , he gave "the bass voices" a new meaning
This guy was awesome in no country for old men
Jack Mehoff , ahaha
Right one the best killing moments in a movie
lmfao...RIGHT!
Exactly what I was thinking 😂 he looks just like him!
I thought he was the dad in supernatural
He has one of the most mesmerizing voices I have ever heard. So good.
Is t it mesmerising ❤️
😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
His voice is legend and he just proved it. I am his age and was blown away when this song came out and once again now decades later.
Had this on a cassette recorded from the radio. Played it late at night in bed at age 13 on my low-end grey walkman in the nights of early summer. Coming of age. First crushes, first feelings, parents splitting up, so much encoded in those old songs.
That "I can still kill that chorus" wink. Priceless
Such a voice. This guy should have been much bigger than just a remark in pop history.
Mmm, hmmm
Pfuhahahahahahahaha
@Shannon Legg Could you please name one other good song by The Crash Test Dummies?
@Shannon Legg Thanks. I will. Cheers.
@Shannon Legg Yes, I have. They are good indeed, but not as unique as mmmm. (Imo)
How many of us have a voice that literally represents an era like Brad's does for the early 90s? And he still has that voice! Bravo and this music is still in all our hearts and ears....and Mmminds.
This kid on guitar is so damn talented. Great version
@David Hinkle it is a very unconfortable song to play with Just one guitar
Cool guitar arrangement! Playing good enough!! Maton guitar?
@David Hinkle
I beg to disagree... the guitar kid didn't made a mistake. Its his interpretation of the song and its his artistic liberty to play it his way...
Kid? That dude is in his mid forties.
@@powerpopaholic876 Morgan Guitar
At 3:54 he gets to a Eb. It's amazing!
Meu, essa voz cavernosa é simplesmente lendária. Quem concorda dá joinha
Verdade, vozeirão 😍
Essa voz e incrível
Voz de cowboy que ele tem kkkkk
Kkklkklkkkkkkkkkkkk

Yesterday with Mary was one of the best days of my life..
We went skiing, we made snowmen, she touched my leg..
Well excuse me mr. perfect, I guess you never ever made a mistake!!
You can't triple stamp a double stamp!
We got no food, we got no water, our PETS HEADS ARE FALLING OFF!
Mock...yeah...ing...yeah...bird
...yeah...yeah...yeah
You've had an extra pair of gloves this whole time?
Man, I remember in the 90's when this used to play on the radio. It 'felt' easier back then, then again I was a kid, but being an adult now takes nothing away from the beauty of the singer's voice and the melody of the song. Thank you Crash Test Dummies, this is a great song.
A tiny little "whoops" @ 00:52 but he recovered it like the pro that he is.
He instantaneously knew and kicked his right leg back in subtle frustration.
💯🎵💯🎵
I'd rather have him Biff a lyric or two then sound like crap. He sounded amazing so did the guitarist
I noticed that too! I've done the same thing singing along with the song so I couldn't help but laugh with empathy. 😁
To this day I can’t remember the order of the verses. The stories in the verses can get confusing.
Such a voice. This guy should have been much bigger than just a remark in pop history.
This kid on guitar is so damn talented. Great version
Damn he still has that voice.
This song works for me on so many levels.
Raw natural talent.
He is something else.
God Bless you Mr Roberts...
"When, he finally made-hiback" Hehe
i think he was trying to say "finally made it back" instead of came back
hehehe
@@dfalconerio Jesus, I've listened to this version about 15 times and only noticed the mastake now :-S
Lay off! It's not like he's sung this heaps of times or anything!!!
Maybe he was high
I love Brad Roberts! Such great musician, composer and also guitarist. Believe it or not, but that guy is a genius.
A good exanple are all the riffs in "he liked to feel it". How did he come up with those? Simple but genius. Best shit ever written :D
I don’t know what sort of relationship an artist has with a song they’ve performed for 39 years, but I reckon this is best example of loving it just the same three decades later.
2:32 Lyrics on the guitar. Just in case.
Jorge Raby you stop! 😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Lmao
That's stupid. The only lyrics on the guitar are MMMMMMM around the soundhole.
best comments 😂
Who's still watching 2020?
Meee!!
Meeeeeee!!

Wow!!!!! You got in there...
It’s April!!!! Who’s here?!?!
SPRING BREAK!!

😀
0:52 Oofff.. I've loved this song for years and that little messup killed me but Brad passes through it like it never happened. Savage.
You have NO taste in music
It's not a big deal , the deal is that he was unable to reach the low notes properly at the "mmm" but we can't judge he is old now , and at his days he nailed it evertime
God bless brad
@@kimbaptempura4073 That's why you're here though, right? Nice try loser.
He looks like such a “Dad” rocker now with that shirt & sandals, like in the 90’s he was grungy and rebellious, but now he drinks herbal tea and practices yoga
One of the absolute BEST of the 90’s & all time !!!
It never gets old. Crash Test Dummies for Life.
Always Great voice , Great man , beautiful guitar and I adore the unplugged version. I always hope for a new tour..
They are going on a new 2018 tour! :) To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Good Shuffled his Feet.
“Well excuse me MR PERFECT! I guess I forgot you never ever make a mistake.”
I LOVE YOU! 😂
Hahahahahahaha
I have always found a melancholic and eerie beauty to this song. Brad Roberts has a wonderfully rich and resonant baritone voice that evokes in many ways the folk music period of the 1960's and early 1970's and is quite refreshing when considering a lot of the music on the radio today. Hearing this again brings me back to Montreal, my university years, and many great memories that still get the eyes watery just a bit.
One of my very most favorite bands of all time. The songwriting is amazing.
La aterciopelada y hermosa voz de Brad Roberts sigue intacta! 😍
Heeey!!!!!! Harry!!!!!!!!!! Heeeeeeeeyyyy!!!!!
Hahaha
Harry! Your hands are freezing!
This is THE voice!!! Love CTD since the 90's ❤
Impresionante voz, sigue sonando excelente!! Párrafo aparte ... TREMENDO TEMA!!
One of my favorite songs from my childhood. Thanks for the memories!
God Shuffled His Feet is in my top 5 albums of all time. Every song is great.
Totally agree!
Mine too. Awesome, witty lyrics..great tunes!
Fucking right!
Same. The rest of their albums were so overlooked in a time of overflowing with great music, but its still amazing even today.
I saw CTD About 20 years ago twice in Madison Wisconsin and was mesmerized just as much by Brad Roberts dialogue in between songs.he was brilliant. God only knows what he’s been thru since then
Great song. Love his voice. Big fan of Crash Test Dummies!
Raw with emotion...perfect!
Doesn’t need the rest of the band and backing singers CLASS
Song from my childhood... Love it everytime!!!! Brad, what you doing right now?
This bass-baritone voice is fantastic !!!! Mmmmm mmmmmmMARVEL !!!!!❤
25 yrs later and I love it just the same!! amazing performer and song writer 💜💜💜
Well pardon me Mr Perfect!! I guess I forgot that you never ever make a mistake....
Oh what a wonderful voice - love Crash Test Dummies - so unique.
Beautiful! Loved it! Thanks
Love the wink at the beginning to the guitarist
YES!
Over 20 years...
And He look better this days..
Great song, remind me my childhood
Yeah for the childhood days :)
90's were a beter time
Totally that !!!
Absolutely Amazing !
Still with that very unique beautiful voice, very nice to hear again. Thank you! My favorite song of yours though is Superman Song. Love the lyrics
This voice... ♥
I love this song, bring back good memories 🙂
He still sounds perfect.. wow
I Love them!!Beautiful Voice!!Thank you so much!!!
I will always love this band...
Brad had a rare bronchial - asthmatic condition that gave him that "unusually" unique baritone. Notice he had to stand close to the mic so he avoided straining his vocals. His band was fantastic behind him!
Thanks so much for this explanation ! Since I re-discovered this band a few days ago, I spent hours thinking "How is it possible to have such a voice ? How the hell does he do that ??". I litterally thought about it all day, while singing god shuffled his feet in my head xD Not obsessed at all...
Wowww ww amazing
My uncle Bobby had an almost identical voice. Never heard him sing but that's what his speaking voice was like
His band had incredible players. His bass player (I think it was his brother) had some of the best bass parts I’ve ever heard on God Shuffled His Feet”.
It's actually not that hard to hit those notes. I can hit them. It's the timbre of his voice that's unique. I can sing this song but it just doesn't sound right, I can't get that deep rich timbre that he has.
Wow, what a great voice. So unique. Great story singing voice.
Always loved this song, glad to see them still performing
Still magnificent. Tickets please.
1:18 he winks his guitar player like "I nailed this mmm!" hahahah
Hahahah I noticed that too. I don't care how juvenile the lyrics are, this songs a classic.
No he didn't and he knew it.
this guy rocks
Que bueno verlos de nuevo!!. Ojalá vengan para Argentina pronto!!. Exelente banda!!.
Watching this after watching Alanis Morissette's 2018 live version of "You Oughta Know", Paula Cole's "I Don't Want To Wait"... Yes they aged yet their music is timeless...
He still has that amazing baritone voice! This one was like a time machine that took me back to the 1990's
Magnifique version, envoûtante à souhait
First heard this song as a kid. It made me feel funny. Like laugh at it - funny. Most songs you hear never make you feel anything. This one stuck after all these years, and now I appreciate it. Very addictive.
Voz linda! ❤️
O cara é bom. 👏👏👏👏👏
This song will remain be one of the best song in the rock time!
Bloody fantastic
"Home,i'm walking home" "oh well pardon me mr PERFECT!! i guess i forgot that you never make a mistake "

Nope It's Anthony Kiedis' and Billy Bob Thorntons bastard love child.

The legendary 1993 thank you Brad! 25 years of this masterpiece.
Without me the story would have been different.
Long Island, NY here... can’t tell you why it is I’m so drawn to this song. I was probably about 12 when it came out, I remember the video. Maybe it’s just the time period, idk, but it’s a great song and floods back memories like a tidal wave.
I love his smile.
Its about time David Lee Roth finally sang within his register.
Brilliant song by a brilliant song writer....
Fantástico! A parte do oohh oohh no fim parece uma porta velha rangendo quando abre tamanha "gravidade" que o camarada aí alcança com o belo timbre de voz que possui! Sensacional!!
Beautiful Song from de fantastic 90's!
Great live performance. An extremely difficult song, believe me.
i first heard this song back in 1993 and it's been 26 years.
