I think deep down you know that Toronto is your home and where you will want to build your family but your just scared to make that transition and finally say it out loud/set it in stone. I also think you just absolutely love your home you’ve created in LA so letting that go would be letting a piece of you go. That decision has to be so difficult but just know we all support you!!

If selling the LA place is whats needed for buying a new place then that's fine. If not highly recommend subleaseing or getting a permanent renter to live at LA place. Especially since the LA market is way down and will go up a lot in next 10 years to sell.

And use the spare room as your temporary situation when your in Toronto, also you can leave a lot of furniture in the living area, making it cheaper overall! But yeah definitely go back first though! You have to use your new bathroom! Your mindset may change around again cause your single and nothing ties you to LA at this moment but after the vaccine is available Covid precautions will be coming to an end... and the la CZcamsr vibe maybe back! Goodluck! So exciting!
She could also get a house in Toronto and an apartment in LA. Since she most likely live more in TO. That’s way she can have a small warm place for winter or vacations.

I did the same thing when debating leaving LA. I spent time home with family. After a while I went back to my place in LA and it was crazy how much it didn’t feel like home anymore. I fully recommend going back to LA and seeing how you feel. Might blow your mind.
I am personally not a CZcams expert, but merging the channels seems like an awesome idea...it would totally make the catch up on videos much easier! LOL - love the thought process and think you are making the right choices by taking your time. You are so right, no rush. There are a lot of 3-4 story townhouses in Toronto-area :P
I counted 5 floors!!
4! First floor is living and kitchen. second is master + master bath and two closets. third is 2nd and 3rd bedroom + two bathrooms (i think, or maybe just one bathroom) then the fourth is the balcony. it’s a pretty common concept in the middle of cities!

My 2 cents 🙈 I think your property in LA will go up in value tremendously in the next few years. You could look into renting your place and finding an apartment (and using the rent money to rent it lol) and have your base in Toronto.

I’m sure you thought about this, but why not rent out the house in LA to someone you trust. My dad just became a landlord this year and made back his house investment in 11 months. If you can get a person in there that would respect the property and a friend to keep and eye on it just in case it’d be an easy and effective like 4th or 5th outcome for you 😂 just a thought. That asset in LA is gorgeous and you went through so much, it’d be a shame to just give it up imo
I rented my 3bdrm home out in Charlotte when I moved back to Baltimore. Crazy idea. I was actually friends with my tenant. It was so hard to keep up with any issues I had with them and the house, without being there. You can’t check up on the place. That “friend” ended up disabling all of my exterior cameras, and stealing my water heater when they moved out. They left so much damage for me to fix and without paying the last months rent. I’ll never do that again. The house sold and everything is fine, but never again.

She said all her stuff is there and if it’s rented out and she has to go back for whatever reason she couldn’t stay there if she’s renting it out.
You should talk to Adelaine about it since she has a place in Canada and LA. I lot of people probably think it's wasteful but she explained the costs of hotel, renting cars, etc just aren't worth the hassle. Plus houses and property are really good investments while you have the money to do so.
I was just thinking that I didn't understand why she didn't buy in both places once her apartment lease is up, of course. Tara can obviously afford both and like you mentioned, property is a good investment. I wouldn't think twice about her owning a place in Toronto and LA.
I’m pretty sure she said in a vlog a while ago she said she couldn’t afford it because a house the same size as hers in LA is double the price and she didn’t want to make herself struggle when she’s going to flip flop between every few months

Oh man! The townhouse! I'd take it in a heartbeat if I could. I know the logistics of selling your old place and getting all your stuff is daunting. I think you are 100% making the right decision giving yourself time. Whatever you choose to do, I know you'll be happy.

I think you should just buy in Canada and you can always stay at a B&B, or Jill's or a hotel if / when you go back to LA. That will keep you from continuing to buy duplicates.

would you ever consider long term Airbnb rentals for cost efficiency? Like a home in Toronto and renting an Airbnb for a month in LA? Just a thought but I heard they're not extremely expensive when you rent for a longer period. Then it would be fully furnished and you could just bring a suitcase!

About the place to live, you DON'T one us an explanation. But you know what, it also makes sense that your homebase is in Canada near all your support sistema and an apartment in LA. Definitely a wise desision.

This is an exciting decision!!! I’m super on board with moving the vlogs to your main channel for one big reason:
You have more subscribers on that channel. And I love your vlog content .. so if you can get the benefits of having a bigger channel to help further fund/encourage the content I enjoy watching then that helps secures that I can keep getting my preferred content. (Long winded, but makes sense right?)

I just bought a house so I was living for the moving vlogs and I’m loving the viewing house vlogs even more! So happy, I’m from Canada too! (Newfoundland) and I love watching your vlogs!
i think long term it makes sense to switch them, but also take your time with it!! it’s a big commitment and making sure you have all your options on the table makes the most sense🤍
You have plenty of time, and honestly if you do find the perfect place in Toronto and go for it once you've sorted out your belongings just tap a property management company and rent the LA condo for a while if it's still too soon to sell it. I know you weren't keen on renting it out, but that was more before you were considering buying in Toronto. It really does make a lot of sense to put roots down where you have the family support, even if it's gonna be a while until you're building a family of your own. This will also be my first vlogmas experience since I came over from the witch stories on TikTok!

Yes yes the flip flop idea is exactly what I would recommend for you! Also, the idea of renting your place out during these crazy times seems risky...with people losing jobs and work hours it might become hard for you to get renters, keep renters etc and you don’t need the stress of potentially chasing rent payments if the economy tanks further in the US.
