I’ve heard one of the characteristics of a police state is that there are a lot of laws which can be selectively enforced to arrest and harass citizens. Unfortunately, I think the US is becoming more like that.
I have a lot of friends who say “no need to worry, my sheriff says he won’t enforce it” referring to a particular law. They’re missing the point.
We’re losing many of the freedoms that set this country apart. The ATF is part of that. It’s sad.
Mark you nailed it. Yes, I've even had law enforcement from a 3 letter agency, who was about to retire, say "we can use it to charge you with intent if we want to."
Totally hear what you’re saying. Makes sense. But the real thing to do is not comply with tyrants.
At some point, soon, we collectively have to say "NO."
Foolish advice: I’m sure you don’t have a drivers license, don’t pay taxes, drive 100 mph everywhere and carry guns on airplanes. Why am I sure? It’s because you “don’t comply with tyrants”. Good luck.
If you have a brace you have already complied
@@SecurityAllStar I submitted my amnesty registration on March 16 and I got my approval back on April 26. I’m actually quite shocked how fast that was for the ATF. Sad that I have to consider that fast.
@@tedbaxter5234ATF is illegitimate and a malicious agency, we don't listen to any shit they say
I submitted three form 1's in February. Two on same day one a week later. Got back one in 25 days, 2nd in 33 days, and 3rd in 32 days. These were all pretty fast. I don't understand why the form 4's take so long.
Yeah, we are dumbfounded. There has to be a better way to do this.
I know a few guys that submitted their eforms back in late feb and already got back their approvals. I think the atf opened up a whole separate wing for the braced rule forms because some of these approvals are coming back insanely fast.
@@SecurityAllStar The better way is to support our Constitution and not play both sides of the fence.
@@elitetilesetting1909 I submitted 2 on 2/21 and 1 on 3/14. I haven't heard a thing on any of them yet.
@@metallicknight2 you should be getting an approval at least one of them any day now. I submitted 4/1 braced 80% lower went straight into pending research and on 4/19 was validated and submitted got my cover/Cleo copy. I thought I was going to stay in pending research for months like other people but surprisingly only took 19days.
I'd you want a registered SBR, just do a standard form 1 and pay the $200 tax. This amnesty just seems like a big sticky trap to me.
So many are being rejected. I think the whole system is broken.
I went ahead and submitted an eform for the only braced pistol I own unfortunately for me I built it with an 80% lower i milled and it went straight into pending research fuak lol I’m sure it’s gonna stay that way for months but oh well I mostly did it for the tax exempt.
I think a lot of people have done it for the same reasons.
I got a question it say to send it 2 fingerprint cards with the cover page. Is that for each one or can i send in 2 cards for all the ones i do.
It is for each one.
Problem now is that just removing the brace is no longer considered an option. The firearm must also be rendered so a brace cannot be installed.
Please share an updated link with us showing that? Everything we have read says something different.
This is false
Good news is that this has been overturned and remanded to the lower court and is on appeal.
Great stuff, i think that for those that want to submit paperwork to be "legal" should go ahead and do so, the burden is on the ATF, once you submit the eform to their website is on them, that;s what I think. In my case all I have are pistols so no changes there. It is time that we the people start holding our elected officials responsible for their own actions. This is an example of how an agency can make a mess out of nothing.
Yep, they really got this one screwed up. I believe the lawsuits may roll a lot of this back.
@@SecurityAllStar My take on all of this is that any one that complies with this rulz change is part of the problem! WE need a total/majority noncompliance with all of this! If we roll over for them they WILL NOT STOP! Next will be the bans/and THE DOOR TO DOOR CONFISCATION. Remember waco and ruby ridge! Remember nazi/germany!
I’m so confused. From what I read if you even own the parts necessary to make an sbr your can still get caught up for intent. Like I’m all jacked up from the shit I’ve been reading. Some clarification on the parts things would greatly be appreciated.
Well, you can always be charged with intent regardless of what the law says; right? We now have Duddlepuck, (ATF director) in videos stating in front of Congress that if you simply remove the braces and don't have them with the gun that you are in compliance. Now, this comes from the head of an agency that has flip flopped on this issue 4 or 5 times in the last decade. I personally would take the safest options available. Did you see the other video we did on this? I think it may help further.
Hello and good afternoon, my name is Pete. I submitted a ATF Form 1 and I bought the complete lower from my FFL with engravings already. Do I need to get it laser engraved?
I'm sorry, I do not think I understand the question. Can you rephrase it?
@@SecurityAllStar do I need to get my city and state and name engraved on my lower for my SBR or are the factory serial numbers and name is good enough?
uh no lol who told you that lmao@@PeterFalconer-zm7oe
If i am understanding, you are fine. Nothing else needed.
@@SecurityAllStar thank you for your time.
So your advising us to take brace off. No thanks. I like my SBR and I''ll reluctantly fill out the Form 1.
Register away - the reason we are all being taxed to death is because we are agreeing to be taxed to death.
This video never told me how to register my short barrel rifle
There is a reason why - change it and dont!
I think I'll wait until after the Revolutionary War is over and then I'll think about it.
Haha, man, I love this comment. Which one will be first. The next Revolutionary, the ware with China or the financial meltdown and the zombies attack? Lot of crap we are looking at.
