You're right it's about getting the apexes, but sometimes the racing lines are not what they should be because of the inclination/slope/bank/etc, that's when the techniques come around, using a bit of sliding, handbrake taps, etc. Just keep grinding bro you'll get faster. I was mainly drifting also but now totally hooked in touge racing now 🤣
I'm hooked on it at the moment, it's super challenging and a great test, just need to get a bit more smoother 😅 coming from mostly drifting to touge, it's a bit of a challenge but has me hooked 😀

Yo - learn trail braking if you havent already. Then with that learn weight transfer using the brakes (braking sends weight onto the front tires giving them more grip) but this can be use to rotate the car more.

This is use is transitions while drifting. And for the the dips using the exact right amount of throttle while being angled the right way can carry you round the corner - throttle steering it might be called. But yes learn these. And watch suellio on yt.

Finally this is growing and my g29 is doing some blinking thing. I’ve taken care to treat it well and even looked up the ways to lengthen life span. I’ve got no clue what’s up I’ve done every troubleshoot other than taking it apart hopefully they’ll honor the warranty.
Also everything else on the wheel pedals and shifter work fine I don’t get it.
That's so strange I've had mine over 2 years and it still works fine, sometimes ac think my pedals are pressed in at 50% so I have to change that but other than that I've had no problems
Yea the wiring is really bad, me and my dad had to take it apart and sauter the wires back together as they fried after 7 months of drifting
oath bro i used to play on this server heaps best way to take the corners is to downshift into really low gear that would normally break gear box since there is no damage and best car to learn is miata or s2k both insane but not too much power so easy to drive
Ah okay, I'll start with either of those two cars, I noticed I needed to shift down to first gear a lot of times but it just feels so wrong when cornering 😅

I touge race constantly in assetto and irl the tricks u use in touge for tight hairpins u usually do a 4 wheel drift u come into the corner from the outside then left foot brake gently while u transfer to the inside then hold the gas at full power if executed correctly the front tires will understeer while the rears also oversteer which basically means if u did it right u shouldnt have to counter steer another touge technique is weight transfers flicks whatever u like to call them there multiple ways to initiate this gas, left foot brake, clutch but on a hairpin u usually wanna get the e brake involved Keep the clutch in while ebrakin so ur revs can stay up too heres a few basic tips i use hopefully it helps man and when first learning the 4 wheel drift i would recommend learning it in awd cars cuz its easier to learn how to do it in those cars
