About FNF
Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game in which the player must pass multiple "weeks", each usually containing three songs.[note 1] Each week, the player typically faces a different opponent.
During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes which the player must mirror by pressing the arrow keys or WASD. At the bottom of the screen is a bar indicating how well the player is doing. The left side of the bar is red, representing the opponent. The right side is green, representing the player. Successfully hitting notes will increase the size of the player's bar, while missing notes causes the opponent's bar to expand. The player fails if the opponent's bar fills up the entire bar.
For each week, the player has the option to select one of three difficulties: Easy, Medium, and Hard. As difficulty increases, the speed of incoming arrows increases and the patterns of arrows become more complicated. The player's high score for each week on each difficulty is tracked and shown in the top corner of the week selection screen.

Some explanations about Dr. Livesey design in this mod - before Livesey become popular as meme, there was popular format in Russian fandom of using dossier styled videos, which was in original cartoon (like a moment in Black Marks), and rewrite them in creepy way. Most popular was edit of Livesey dossier which called him "It" and had tentacles coming out of his mouth and dossier moment from Black Marks also uses Livesey from that edit
What I like about the corruption is the details showing it isnt just a mindless blob and actually lets some of the more violent or destructive characters be in control which we see with Vicky having her pupils. Though corrupted Flipqy is more interested because he’s half showing the glitch has a hold of Flippy but not Flipqy

Theory: maybe the way the glitch works is by destroying the victims memories, effectively destroying the victims former self.
I actually have a theory that the glitch traps them in a super happy memory or a super bad memory which is why some of the corrupteds start saying things from that memory- either the extreme happiness or extreme fear keeps them trapped. Lmk what you think if you want :)

Steven also says “they’er all gone, and it’s all because of her”, what he probably means by that is if Pibby just never escaped from the darkness then the darkness wouldn’t corrupt all the rest of the cartoons, I have a theory that the darkness isn’t the bad guy here, and that Pibby is the one making the darkness corrupt all the cartoons, the darkness isn’t the glitch, Pibby’s the glitch, just think about it.
This is actually canon in the pibby Family guy mod, except it was following bf, which is probably either because he was accompanying pibby or because it mistook him for pibby, or just because he also escaped from his world. It might be coming after pibby because the cartoons aren't supposed to leave their shows. Maybe she was already about to teleport out of her show before the darkness came and it was supposed to prevent it. After it failed, it scoured the universe for her, only to find that YET ANOTHER character has escaped. Seriously, the darkness job must be so hard. Pray for him, ya'll. 😞

Probably my favorite corrupted form is livesey, mainly cause of how he just.... doesn't seem to be mindless and feels more like a ghost rather than a man.
I'm not sure if it would be in character but his poses, especially in black mark, make me think he willingly got corrupted and is consciously spreading it, almost as if he's an elite of the corruption

You know you did get the first part of the lyrics right but the full lyrics read "here we are in the future here we are in the future and it's right just a second ago we were sinning this song and now there gone because of her happily ever after there we were" so I think this implies that the darkness only came to Steven's universe after bf and pibby came there like in the darkness takeover mod

he just has too never get touched and he can take down the glitch with a lot of help. The power of the glitch is overrated. If you scale everyone youd be surprised too find the glitch very low. Any C tier reality bending hero can take down that glitch without trying.

I have a theory for Boyfriend being corrupted! When Boyfriend left his universe, it could not function without him, so the game had to generate a new one, and the new one wasn’t so lucky!

I think the only thing that would give them a sign that this stuff was dangerous would be if they saw Frank step in darkness, saw his face get that morphed look, and saw him get aggressive that they would think "this black goo seems bad" AND EVEN THEN THERE'S A SMALL CHANCE OF THAT HAPPENING BECAUSE THEY WOULD JUST THINK HE'S MAD FOR GETTING THE GOO ON HIM!!!
Honestly, i thought there'd be a bit more things that would've been talked about, like how Steven has the 3 main crystal gems bubbled in the song "Familiar". My headcanon is that Steven might've actually bubbled them before he got corrupted as a plan to keep them potentially safe from the corruption, because if they're protected in the bubble and in gem form, maybe they'd be safe?
And in the Steamboat section, Pete wasn't even brought up at all, nor was the other Dr. Livesly song Black Mark-
I think if Steven got corrupted while they were in the bubble, either they would be un-bubbled or just automatically be corrupted.

Are we not gonna address that Gf is like twice his size and she doesn't seem to be physically morphed enough to be that tall while remaining normal width. People think that Bf is super short, but he's actually 7 feet tall. He only looks short to give a somewhat innocent demeanor, which is why Silly Billy, A.K.A, himself looks so tall. It seems a little weird that Gf is twice that height while being that equal width. I'm saying that from a practical point of view. I'm an artist myself, and with Bf's visible height, she'd look tiny, so this was a pretty good choice.

I'm surprised Dr livesly was corrupted and didn't just parry the darkness
I love this guys videos, I really do but I feel like every time Steven is brought up he doesn’t go over much things about him, he did say that we don’t know how he got corrupted but I feel like we would have the same answer as basically everyone. I don’t understand how he even gets corrupted tho cuz everyone in the Cartoon Network pibby has weapons for offense or are some guy that’s pure comedy but Steven has a bubble and sheild, can slow down time and transform into Godzilla and that causes a lot of destruction, his transformation probably would put him at risk the most but would do the most damage. He should be able to take hits from the corruption from his shield but I guess not
