Please, Bonetail was a piece of cake for me!
the Bowser fight in Thousand Year door can actually be pretty hard. You have to fight him right after Grodus with no chance to heal or regain Star power. So unless you either level up from beating Grodus or come out of that fight in good shape, you'll probably die to Bowser, which means you have to re fight Grodus too
Shadow Queen and Bonetail were very rough. So good though.
6:30 “That’s like fighting Dark Link four times in a row”
*A Link to the Past/Four Swords secret boss flashback intensifies*
Ironically, the Stapler never gave me any kind of trouble, but to this day I still haven't beat Olly's final form. If he'd just not attack and let me focus on the puzzle... I always lose my train of thought after I avoid him and die to the time limit.
It was so easy
Top 10 Hardest Mario and Luigi Bosses
I was really hoping for the ice king boss in the first paper Mario game. He had the ability to stun Mario for multiple turns and a clone technique, to sometimes waste your move our waste an aoe just to find his real body. To be honest that became the partners fight while I was forced to heal Mario whenever he recovered from being stun.
Ice King was easily the hardest paper Mario boss during my play through.
@@j0sh639 Crystal King
Plus the battle theme for him is awesome!
Actually Bonetail doesn't give s.tar points It's just that if a battle ends in a victory and you beat at least one enemy, you get at least one star point, even if none of the enemies give star points. You can see this kind of phenomenon if you fight enemies in Rogueport Sewers post chapter 2.
I was wondering if someone could top Bonetail!!!
I also nominate Rawk Hawk as the funniest battle if I remember correctly.
Rawk Hawk has the best music, change my mind.
That stapler was hard ASF for no reason man. Took days for me to beat him.
That was so easy
No boss in paper Mario the origami king was difficult
@@j0sh639EXPLAIN THE TAPE BOSS-
I only paper Mario game I played is the origami king I’m and I liked it a lot
Same here
It’s my favourite one :)
Same🤩
I hate Olly because his fight is stupid easy. you go through all of his phases without taking any damage. In contrast bosses like the actual vellumentals deal plenty of damage over time and can actually mess you up on your first try.
Same with me (so far)
#3 was kind of a breather after all those rooms of pain. For Dark Luigi, I just wait till he’s landed from a super jump or about to use an item. For the rest, I just use boomer to fight from a distance.
Says the only reward for beating Bontail is a single star point.
Strange Sack: AM I A JOKE TO YOU?!?!
Sack was the floor 50 reward.
You're thinking of the return postage badge ( return 50% damage you take from direct attacks)
Finally some paper mario love ❤❤❤❤❤
I wish the ghost pirate Cortez could’ve made this list
Love that guy!!!
I like him, but he’s not exactly Nasty, just challenging. Gloomtail or Smorg were worse, and they don’t hold a candle to either Grodus or the Shadow Queen
I imagine the hardest boss Paper Mario would ever face is scissors.
No, stapler and King Olly where both herder then Scissors was in my opinion. But scissors was definitely a challenge.

Paper Mario: The thousand-year door is my favorite Paper Mario game
I just discovered this account. This is one hell of a first video I've watched! Huge Paper Mario fan if you couldn't tell
First off this video was really cool I love all the paper Mario games and second I think this is a very accurate top 10 💯
I need to point out, Bonetail is only difficult due to getting to him. The boss itself is kind of a pushover if you know what to do and actually easier than Shadow Queen. He has 200 HP sure, but stacking a whole bunch of Danger strat badges, having Max HP of 5, and using Power Bounce all make quick work of him.
But my real complaint is Shadoo even being on the list. He's like Dark Link from Zelda 2 yes, but that's why he's a pushover. He can be beaten simply by selecting Bowser and using that Fire Breath.
First. Also Cortez better be on here.
Huff N Puff and The Crystal King is the thing of my nightmares as a kid.
Shadow Queen fight was hardest, and drawn out
any1 whos played paper mario 64 knows the anti-guy unit is wayyy harder than any boss in the game lol
HOW ON EARTH IS KING OLLY NUMBER 9?!?! Dont get me wrong I love origami king but in complete brutal honesty Olly is the second easiest boss in the entire game. You can go through all his phases without taking a single hit where are the other bosses taking damage is par for the course.
Well for me it was nerve racking because I couldn't die without having to completely reset the game that way I can get the little medal thingy but when you aren't doing that it is really easy
Most difficult boss fights for me were the original Paper Mario's Ice King and a number of bosses from Thousand Year Door. First of the bosses in Thousand Year Door to give me trouble was back-to-back of Grodus and Bowser. Both for the fact that the latter fight happens shortly after, forcing you to fight in whatever state you're in AND having to deal with Kammy as well. The Shadow Queen also gave me a bit of grief, particularly with the part where she's immune to damage until after the next cutscene. Especially with those hard-hitting attacks. Finally, there's Bonetail. Half the difficulty is just REACHING his lair courtesy of the Pit of 100 Trials. The other half comes from having to fight Bonetail in whatever state you're in upon entering the pipe into his lair. If you don't have items to replenish HP and FP or if you forget to use them, you're in for a rough time. On a side note, reason why you only get one Star Point from both the Shadow Queen and Bonetail fights is because of Thousand Year Door's design. It's programmed to always award a star point regardless of level just for winning.
I fought Stapler and King Olly and bested both of them, winning the game at last.
Tbh bonetail does give the best badge for beating him
And a whopping 1 star point👍😁
What’s the badge?
@@anonymousfellow8879 the return postage badge, look it up
@@anonymousfellow8879 a badge that makes enemies deal half damage to you EVERY TIME
The Masters final form in Paper Mario is arguably, in my opinion, the toughest boss in the series
Star rod bowser never gave me problems because I knew when Boswer would replenish health if I had a certain amount of health, so I carried a life shroom in case
0:47 dedede: haha i do that
Mentioning Stapler and Grodus but NOT mentioning The Master Phase 3, Crystal King and Scissors is a crime
I clicked on this completely forgetting Sticker Star and Color Splash existed 😂… well one can only wish
Great job!
Huff N. Puff was a pain on my first play through.
If you know what you’re doing, Huff n puff is just a bag of hot air. Literally.
Clackity, clackity, clackity, clackity dialogue in Super Paper Mario
Thousand Year Door should get a rerelease. No, I will not be taking questions.
Dude number 4 I don't know if I was lucky or not, I defeated this boss without even dying... Every move must count and I have to use all my items and stars to beat this boss... Don't get me started on his shield and little robots... Those little bastards will attack you and shield him!!! Even if you destroy the little robots, they come back as two at a time!!!
I've never even gotten to bonetail highest I got was level 70-80 it's a hard boss to get to. I think they should have atleast let you save halfway.
Ah, maybe they didn't wanna spoil but Anti Shy guy, or what's his name, is also a optional side boss for shy Guy's toy box i thought
None from Paper Mario Sticker Star.
And I plus many others know good ways to win those aforementioned clashes in Paper Mario N64.
Huff N Puff, primarily use Lakilester/Spike's Spiny Storm, while Mario should use Hammer Throw to damage him, works best when he charges up that lightning attack, but it's better not to switch to Lady Bow, just use Spike's Cloud Nine to make it more likely to miss.
For both parts of Bowser, use defense piercing moves after removing his invincibility. I was able to beat him quicker than usually by using D-Down Jump and/or D-Down Pound. And Watt's Electro Shock attack.
Shadow Queen is the best fight in any Mario game ever.
I've sadly never been able to even reach Bonetail. I always Game Over on the way.
I personally find Shadow Queen to be much more difficult than Bonetail
I love Super Paper Mario. It's one of the games I grew up playing.
I found King Olly and Stapler to be pretty easy. Maybe I'm just good at Origami King.
As someone who plays Paper Mario 64 annually cuz it's my all time favorite game
Crystal King is still the hardest boss for me on the basis that if you miss time a block/dodge against him, he can freeze you, he can heal himself at least twice for 20hp each on top of his base 70hp, normally I use Spike on the basis that he has the cheapest cost attack all move for when he creates clones of himself, but I tried Kooper last time and it still was a bastard of a fight because while Crystal King IS weak to fire, you better have FP saver on cuz you will run out of FP fast! Might try Bombette next time!
Huff'N'Puff is easy so long as you keep using Spike's spike ball barrage to take out the mini huff-puffs
Bowser's true final boss battle (after Peach's scene) is a cake walk if you still have all 3 Jelly Ultra's possible, 2 Deluxe Feasts, and the final life shroom in the library, that's 240 extra HP at your disposal on top of whatever HP you have! You literally can't die without trying! I just use Parakarry's shell shot, Mega Smash/Jump, and consider his ass beat after a lengthy battle of him healing himself a couple times. His 1st form at just 50hp? I beat his ass in like 5/6 turns.
But the easiest boss battle after Chapter 1 is ironically the next chapter's boss, Tutankoopa, I can beat him in 3 turns, if you find a thunder rage, SAVE IT FOR HIM! As soon as he summons the chomp, use it! By that point he's already half way down in HP if you super jump him and shell shot him with an upgraded Parakarry.
Tubba Blubba's Heart is easy if you keep that Repel Gel for him when he charges his attack, allowing you to not need Bow's outta sight at all.
General Guy is easy considering there's SO MANY ATTACK ITEMS IN THE TOY BOX! Just make sure to have damage dodge/defense up badges on, AND USE THE VOLT SHROOM YOU FIND THERE! Makes the Shy Guy fights easy before you face General Guy in that specific battle!
Lava Piranha is easy so long as you use Sushie and have the ice badge equipped and use attack all moves like Tidal Wave (upgrade Sushie twice!).
Kooper Bros. go down quick if you save your FP and have Kooper out to power shell them and fire flower them, but if you're really smart, bombette apparently takes down Fake Bowser (I'VE NEVER TRIED THAT! DOING THAT NEXT PLAYTHROUGH!), and if you keep that pow block that should still take down the Koopa Bros. along with the fire flower!
Goomba King, this one drives me crazy when I see people play PM64 on here or twitch! Use Goombario on the X in the background tree and a goomnut takes out the red and blue goombas, and power jump the Goomba King twice, with 1 more headbonk and he's done! If done right, the only attack he gets in is a ground stomp with goomnuts back at ya.
Yeah, I play the game too much XD
oh
I think the hardest paper Mario boss is shadow queen.
8:58 - And then Woolie got the double-EXP 'curse' during this fight: czcams.com/video/8Yh4bWBJijE/video.html
So only Sticker Star got snubbed.
Deservedly so.
We don't talk about her.
Ah yes, put in an optional boss in AGU instead of crystal king
The freakin Origami King rubber band boss was SO annoying
5:25 but that’s against Da Rules!
This is so hard!
And someone manages to beat all of them first try
Yeah I'm not surprised, I love Super Paper Mario to death but because of it's battle mechanic, almost every single boss in the game is easy. Even the final boss is a cake walk. Shadoo I understand but yeah none of the bosses were threathening at all. My only game over when I first played this game was in a level
The problem with Shadoo is that he can’t go 3D, at least I haven’t seen him do so. This means if he has me backed against a wall, I’ll just flip and go around him. Then continue the strat of using boomer rather than tackling him head on.
Plot twist on all Mario games.... Mario is a serial killer, and Peach is the one who got away. She hires Bowser for protection against Mario. Whenever you hear Peach scream out "Mario!", she isn't yelling for you to help save her... She's warning Bowser that the sick sadistic serial killer Mario is getting closer to catching his victim who got away. 😂
Where is the final boss in sticker star
Shadoo never gave me any kind of trouble, i just stayed as Bowser and immedietly used fire, he couldnt get to me
Don't hate me, but I have some unpopular opinions...
-I never understood why so many people say that Huff N. Puff was so hard? I just find him to be annoying tbh.
-Bonetail is actually super easy if you equip the right badges.
-King Olly was the most annoying final boss in the series (I'm not including Color Splash or Sticker Star because I never played them). It's not that he's "difficult." There is just no strategy and you're on a time limit. That whole battle system was just awful.
stapler is nothing compared to tape in my opinion. Phase 1 is really easy but If he sets up enough tape on the battlefield in phase 2 you're finished. It was a nightmare when I played the origami king.
I only have super paper mario and paper mario origami king. I love the paper mario series.
Strange seeing HuffnPuff on the list and not Crystal King
Το αγαπημένο μου παιχνίδι!
Shadow queen was hard. Harder then grodus
Sir Grodus isn’t really hard per say, more so annoying. Having to constantly kill the things shielding him gets really annoying fast. And if you don’t have the feeling fine badges equipped then you are fucked. Ok not really but please get the feeline fine badges from x naut fortress. The worst part is that you immediately have to fight bowser and kammy right after. Which if you haven’t leveled up from grodus, you are pretty much screwed because you’ll probably have wasted all your items to refill fp and probably used all your star power trying to beat him. So going right into bowser and kammy unprepared can really screw you over. Now the fight with the 2 isnt that hard, so long as you prioritize taking out kammy first. But even than bowser might just kill you if you’ve already wasted all your healing items
how isn't the dojo master on this list
Shadoo is easy if you just hold down as bowser
Where is my scissor
I gave up trying to beat the shadow queen on 1000 year door. Never finished the game🥲
oh i beat her DONT GIVE UP😢😢😢😊
Wait, the Shadow Queen has 300 HP? I though she had 150 HP, or at best, 210 HP with having to deplete 60 of her health in the first phase.
Why is that MojoPlays?
Well he said TOTAL
@@BratisIava Well, how does The Shadow Queen have 300 HP? Thats what I'm wondering.
@@augustbornonevery late but, because of each phase, she heals in between each one
@@V1TNIR As in which phase?
I never fought anti shy guy.
Where is Bowser from Sticker Star ?
What? No Master 3 (Paper Mario)? The heck?
Ice king from paper mario
Welcome to another episode of: *WHY* was this in *MY RECOMMENDATIONS*
Number 7: Rob Schneider
WHAT ABOUT SCISSORS!!!!!!!!
I beg to disagree that Sir Grodus isn't even hard. There is an option to attack his staff that does the attacks. His Grodus X's are the main problem with his invincibility. Here's my advice: use Vivian's Fiery Jinx or Flurrie's Gale Force to defeat them.
Once you defeat Grodus, you only have Bowser and Kammy Koopa to worry about. Keep in mind, if you die in the Bowser and Kammy Koopa fight, you have to defeat Grodus again.
I always spammed with Vivian to deal with the X spawns + cheesed my xp so that I’d level after defeating him before facing Bowser for a full replenish.
MojoPlays? Why Is Fracktail Not The Hardest?
2:33 And holding back Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam 2’s development, along with turning Paper Bowser’s Minions into Folded Freaks! 🤬🤬🤬🤬 #fucktheorigaminazi
Grodus is not hard if you have good damage and vivan ranked up
I've only played Bug Fables 💀 I wanna get into Paper Mario but everyone seems to hate Origami King and Nintendo games are too expensive for a student to waste money on some that are possible trash.
Dude I love playing origami king can you take a lot of brain power to figure out that strategy especially the bosses
Origami King IS trash. And so is Sticker Star and Color Splash. Everything after Super Paper Mario is not worth time or money
I was a Thousand Year Door fan and I LOVED Origami King. It even rivals TUD for me. Definitely play it
I mean, the timed puzzle combat could be difficult to master, but Oragami King can't be THAT bad.
Its a different saga, TTYD its like a rpg tale, OK its an aventure videogame
King olly was so easy bro
I ask myself who is the best paper mario villain?
Paper bowser
King olly
Count bleck
Dimentio
Or
Sir grodus
Definitely Dimentio
Shadow queen
Count Bleck
Where is Magnus von gratholl
the most hard one is sisors
All of the Origami King bosses aren’t even hard for me
Tape: Am I a joke to you-?
I played all these games and I have to say I like color splash origami king and super paper mario, while the first to were just ok to me probably because I don't have nostalgia for them, also paper mario sticker star is still a very bad game
SINGLE
Disagree with Star Rod Bowser and Huff N Puff
I found an easy way to beat Puff
My Brother play this game all the time and easily beat Bowser
My strategy with Huff n. Puff is to simply use Muskular's Chill out. Renders his minions' attack useless
Combien with Super Jump charge and Power bounce and enjoy the results.
I'd prefer not giving any positive light to Origami King, thank you
Everything after Super Paper Mario is trash and shit. Garbage games.
Even Origami King?
