We NEED Thousand Year Door to come to Switch!! Make it happen already Nintendo!
I don't want to hold my breath for it, but The Thousand-Year Door is the 1st GameCube title that came to my mind when Metrioid Prime got Remastered for the Switch. It's definitely the next big step for GameCube Remasters.

There's been RECENT RUMORS that's it'd gonna be remastered on the switch, of course it's all just rumors so it's not 100% legit but we'll see soon ❤❤❤❤😃😃😃

There needs to be a Paper Mario All Stars with ports of the original Paper Mario, TTYD, and Super Paper Mario.
That’s what I once said. (With remastered graphics… and without a limited release unlike 3D All-Stars in 2020)
Bowser’s Inside Story is my favorite of the RPGs. It’s also the very first Mario game I ever bought. The idea of playing as an awesome and huge fire breathing dragon/turtle got me VERY interested. I’ve been a huge fan of the franchise ever since.
I’m gonna be that guy, I LOVED Mario & Luigi partners in time. I was really annoyed that they skipped a remake after remaking super star saga.
I'll be honest I don't think it deserves to be this low on the list. 😕
AGREED I really did enjoy that game and replayed it recently. I think the new mechanics it brought paved the way for Bowsers Inside Story to be a great successor, and I don't think it gets credit for that enough

Dream Team is actually my favorite installment in the Mario and Luigi series. It has the best atmosphere, theme, and music in the franchise imo.

Bowser’s inside story is such a classic. I love it and I can’t believe it was number one I’m so happy.
Super Paper Mario is my absolute favorite one. Switching between 2D and 3D was just amazingly fun. Origami King is very underrated.

The story is good, its just that the puzzle ring gimmick combat just doesn’t do it for most people.
Super Mario Rpg, Paper Mario and Paper Mario TTYD are legendary. I don’t think Nintendo will ever make another Mario rpg that tops them.

Superstar saga is my favorite, I just love the variety of characters and enemies, bowsers inside story is a close second though

When they put sticker star at the bottom of list i knew theyd understood value.
super paper mario being only number 8 is a crime….by far hands down THE best story in any of the RPG games and the gameplay is by far the best compared to any of these newer titles

Super Mario Rpg definitely, many fond memories of this game. I'm not saying that I want it remade just graphically updated. Still have my hard cartridge for SNES
After Super Mario RPG was placed at #3, I thought that TTYD was gonna be at the #1 spot while Bowser's Inside Story was at the #2 spot.

My favorite is Bowser's Inside Story of course.
I love how the ideas of the game, compared to the previous two games, made it look distinctive and unique regarding the overworld and combat.

Bowser's Inside Story is an amazing game, but no way in hell is it better than TTYD
I think their pretty much even, also superstar saga as the remake is brilliant(that games underrated)

HARD DISAGREE on the low placement of Partners in Time. That's one of my favorites of the series, easily. And damnit, the "l33t hammer bros" scene was fking amazing!!!

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 VS The Super Mario Bros. Movie!
Mario movie definitely outperformed the sonic one economically
However for me really both movies were good, it's just that I'm a mario fan so I liked the mario movie more
I wonder if kids these days see games I played, like the original Paper Mario, and they get the same kind of fernweh I would feel when my mother and uncles would tell me about how much fun the original Super Mario was on SNES. 🤔

The Origami King gets a bad wrap, it’s great visually, has darker under tones and is pretty funny; it’s no Thousand Year Door, but is really solid otherwise. What killed it was that dang battle wheel.

Excellent as the Mario + Rabbids crossover Duology (currently) is, they don’t really count in my eyes since there’s a clear difference between “strategy” and “role-playing” if you ask me.

Mario rabbids is more of a tactical strategy game.
Neither of the rabbids games should be above the original paper Mario. That’s just silly.
I just can't agree with the Partners in Time ranking, it's my favorite mario and luigi game by far
My favorite Super Mario rpg games are paper Mario 64, thousand year door, Mario rpg legend of the seven stars, bowsers inside story, and super paper Mario. I like to play them when I get bored

The Mario and Luigi games
Mario RPG is obviously the best Mario RPG and quite possibly the best game of all time. It deserves the #1 spot.
The only correct answer is Super Paper Mario. Yes, I'm gonna be that guy. The rest can come back once they've canonised Mario dying, genocide, Luigi becoming the Antichrist, and Peach and Bowser's wedding causing the destruction of all dimensions. Plus, the villains in this game are second to none. Especially Count Bleck and his story with Timpani.
Sticker Star being last should surprise nobody

They're so Super Incredible, Amazing, Remarkable, Fun, Spectacular and Beautiful to play.
I like Paper Mario (2001), Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (2004), Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time (2005), Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions (2017) and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey (2019).

After TTYD was such a success, it makes me wonder why they haven’t made another similar to it. It seems Paper Mario keeps getting further and further away from what made the series so great.
My top picks are TTYD and SMRPG. Not a fan of the Mario and Luigi games, surprised Inside Story made the top spot.

As much as we all want ttyd to come to switch, I seriously don’t think it’ll ever happen. To re-educate the new Nintendo audience on this game is to also kill any chance of paper Mario’s modern style from selling well again

paper mario 64 and paper mario the thousand year door needs a remake or a remaster for the nintendo switch release like they did with spyro reignited trilogy and crash n sane trilogy

Ain’t no way that Rabbids Kingdom Battle is above Dream Team
- Out of all these games, I would definitely have Mario RPG, TTYD, and Superstar Saga on repeat!
- I literally do not get the hype of The Rabbids. Why this collab had to happen I'll never know.
- Sometimes Nintendo irks me when they don't listen to the fans when it comes to wanting a Paper Mario Game that's reminiscent of the 1st 2 games instead of the BS they kept pushing out (Stickerstar, Color Splash, OK)
- I wish to this day that Squareenix and Nintendo can collab again to give us another Mario RPG. Why they won't do it sends me!
I love the original Paper Mario and Thousand Year Door, the future ones don't even come close to those two.
