- The Bad Larry from YHM didn't disappoint! What a great tone! On 308 WIN it really shined and showed what it's capable of! You can lay behind this can all day with zero discomfort! Bad Larry indeed!

The 300 BLK is insane.
I love your videos with awesome sound quality too. Bought 2 YHM right after your reviews. Great honest review on NFA products.
Excellent video, as always. 😊
Great video as always 💪🇺🇸
The volume difference between semi-auto and bolt action is amazing IMHO, especially downrange.
Looking forward to the lpvo review! Thanks for the great content
Good stuff thanks!!!!!!!!!
YHM is so underrated!!
No, humans just think they're too good for something when they have a lot of money because it's not what the SF guys use.
@@CZcamsflakelandthe gun community is the absolute worst about that. U have guys with 10k guns that can't hardly use them.
Best bang for your buck for suppressors
YHM rocks all around. Great products at really reasonable prices. Was on their website today looking at them the new stuff.
@@CZcamsflakelandto an extent you are right but personally I’d still take a SilencerCo Chimera 300 over a Bad Larry. Both are good cans just the ASR mount system us better IMO
🤘 😁 🤘 Missed these
Wonder what the 8.6 Blackout minimum barrel length is.
Q makes several 8.6 BO variants of the Fix rifle with 8” barrels. Since they developed the cartridge, it’s reasonable to think 8” is close to the minimum.
Thank you for the code. Ordered another 9K.
Oh my !! This may be my next YHM can for a total of 5 😅
This is awesome
You're awesome
Love yhm. Have you ever done any reviews on the b&t impulse ols? Thinking of buying one for dedicated 9mm pistol can.
B&T is one of the worst companies to get in touch with as a reviewer. I had them out to Suppressed Fest years ago and I still can’t get ahold of anyone there.
They make great guns, but their suppressors are louder than other manufacturers because they come from a EU country where suppressors are not destined for long service life intervals like ours here in the US.
In short they don’t over engineer their suppressors like a US company has to, to stay competitive. So when they started manufacturing them here to get around US import laws they were already behind the curve in a world full of super quiet, non gassy suppressors built to last generations on the same tax stamp.
A B&T firearm with a quality US based suppressor on the end is bliss. Great gun, great can. I’d be happy to eat crow on my words but they don’t work with content creators as far as I can tell. Which is why you never hear about their suppressors making waves in our industry. They are fine with the status quo…
Adam, please tell me about the new Energetic armerment Vox K2. Compared to the Vox S.
As someone looking for a can for a 338 Lapua this has been on my radar. It seems to be at a lower price compared to other big bore options. The Lapua is uncomfortable to shoot even with double hearing protection so something to tone it down would be interesting.
Do you have a muzzle device on it now?
@@happybear777 yes. I have a brake on it. It's a Savage 110.
What are your thoughts about this compared to a Griffin Armament Paladin HD ?
me and Locs n Load plan on being at suppressed fest this year again, looking forward to seeing you and all the vendors
I would like to see a comparison of similar priced products in decibel sound reduction.
That’s what Suppressed Fest is for. In person comparisons of hundreds of suppressors.
@@nfareview yea that would work if I lived closer to where it was held
Is it compatible with asr mount?
What chassis is hosting the .308?
AICS = Accuracy International Chassis System
@@nfareview Thank you
No 8.6blk??? I'd imagine that's what the can was really designed for.
Don't hate me but Gun Trader Den loaned me a 8.6 and I didn't have enough time to scour for ammo and never used it. If it sounded that good on 300BLKOUT I'm sure 8.6 would be tits.
@@nfareview I have a 12in pistol build I haven't shot yet because the ammo is so hard to get. When you get some ammo we are going to need a CZcams short or something giving a quick demonstration with the Larry
Was the 300Blackout super or sub?
190GRN Subsonic reloads from 2A Warehouse
I am considering Bad Larry for my 9mm PCC w/10.5” barrel (that will also have a 300BO upper for home defense). The suppression on 300 subs seems GREAT. My question: can I extrapolate this to say that 9mm 165gr HUSH will be just as quiet? My other consideration for a can is the Dead Air Wolverine but I’m thinking Bad Larry would give even better suppression? Anyone able to help me answer this? Thanks for your content, I appreciate the detail in your reviews!
You'll have a bad day if you shoot a .354 projectile through a .338 bore...
@@nfareview thanks for saving me from myself!
@@huskeyatc I got you fam 🤘😂
Good video. I just dont see the point 13:20 of reviewing a 338 can and not having a 338 to test it on.
Just me or seems like a ton of blow back?
Why is it called that?
But they warranty is not as good as others in the industry. We all make mistakes with our suppressors and because it would be our mistake they would not cover you. You pay $200 tax stamp and wait up to a year to get a suppressor and you mess up one-day and they say too bad not our fault
So they denied fixing it at all or were going to charge you to repair it?
@@nfareview as far as I know, they are the only ones that will charge you to fix a bath strike
@@waltermatney6090 so they will fix it free for manufacturing defects but will charge if the damage is from customer misuse? Like using on a non concentric bore or other issues? I’m not seeing an issue here.
If you go order a new sports car right now, spec it out, it’ll take about a year to take delivery. It comes with a bumper to bumper warranty for manufacturer defects. The car comes in, you pick it up and on the drive home you decide to have some fun before you’re familiar with it and you end up curb checking a wheel. Should the car dealership be responsible by utilizing your warranty to fix the wheel or should it come out of your pocket?
Let’s say the suppressor is $700 with tax stamp and let’s say the car is $100,000 with taxes. The responsibility for repair is the same no matter the item, the cost, or the wait time associated to acquire it. That’s the way I see it anyway.
@@nfareview now you know there’s a difference between accidental baffle, strike and misuse. Dead air , Otter Creek labs , silencer Co , and most others will fix accidental baffle strikes YHM will not. That’s all I’m saying. They used to, but they change their warranty. You made a ridiculous analogy. You need to write the other suppressor companies and tell them to start charging for baffle strikes , if you believe your analogy is correct .
@@waltermatney6090 I don’t have to do anything. If I have to send in a can for repair and it costs me money, I don’t care. It’s not going to break the bank or get close to the value of the suppressor itself. I’m not sure what the fuss is all about. In the time we have been discussing this you could have earned the $150 or whatever the repair cost is to just fix the can and move on with life. I’m just in a different place than you right now. I’ve lost material things like cars, watches, guns to damage, theft etc and have just learned to not let things bother me anymore. If I get a baffle strike I call the manufacturer and follow the steps to send it in and then go about my day. You’ll get there, just let life beat you down more and you’ll care less lol.
Their 22lr cans especially the Mite is an absolute dreadful pos of a suppressor.
I hate those flys.
I can tell someone doesn't use a bolt action much!
I can tell someone has never shot reloaded ammo that had too long of a case length requiring more force to lock the bolt into battery! 🥴 I’ve seen some ignorant comments on my channel in the last 15 years but this one takes the cake of assumptions.
@@nfareview i do reload my own ammunition and trim my brass when it's needed have been shooting bolt action firearms for over 45 years started with a bolt action 16 gauge shotgun and bolt action 22 ! I was referring to your pulling up of the bolt handle to eject the spent round not the feeding of the next round. There was three times on the 300 blackout that you had trouble lifting the bolt handle to eject the last round shot.
@@tacticalrabbit308 that rifle is a turd Frankenstein and the bane of my existence. You can hear me trash talk it in many previous videos. And the cartridges were getting stuck in the chamber to add insult to injury, hence the sloppy bolt work. I shoot once a week for the last 15 years on minimum, I sorta know my way around a bolt action thanks! The Christensen Arms Ridgeline Scout I use for 300BLKOUT work now, is smooth as butter even with out of spec cartridges.
