"If something like this happens then rich people will go there and no one can say what will happen to poor people like us."
Oof
Yes 💯 they'll take the ones they need
you ever seen cowboy bebop? they live underground for shelter.
@@nairdacnalbel It's a very common concept is SciFi... Not to say it's wrong, bad or poor, I mean it's just being told or showed in many SciFi stories.
even the poorest American is the 1 percenter for the earth
@@zedwpd 1% of the world population is 80 million people, the US population is 330 million (so around 4.25%). Your math doesn't add up.
I love how movies have a universal language that these guys also get.
I mean, they're watching Hindi dubs.
@@hettbeansyeah but words are minimal in this movie
the power of Pixar
Right it's like they're people with intelligence & the ability to understand..
@@Drewski_ZA Its more than that. When a a scene is setup with action and emotion instead of words you obviously don't need words to understand what is going on no matter what language you speak.
Wall-E has to be one of the greatest animated movies ever made, I think. I love the villagers' lack of inhibition when it comes to expressing their feelings and praise through song. It's something we've sort of lost in Western culture, or at least we restrict it to certain contexts.
Yeah I don’t like animated films, but I saw this and it’s a great movie, very cute and powerful.
I'd go further - Wall-E is one of my four all time favourite films. It's just beautiful and painfully underrated.
@@Angivel I wouldn't say Wall-E is underrated, everyone I've ever interacted with when referring to the movie has loved it
@@kritikill7779 I hear what you're saying and that's great, but in my experience it's more 50/50 people either Love it or they're like "Meh, it's Okay"
But fair enough, what I was probably thinking about's "Overlooked" as in, a lot of people simply missed it.
I Do believe(but I could be wrong)that Disney made a poor job marketing Wall-E and that's probably why it's overlooked.
great observation @WendyKay84, I agree we restrict ourselves a lot, I think Western culture has a bit of a history of "rule-making" above and beyond normal things like cultural customs or language paradigms, and theyre always moving and changing, it might even be the reason we have frequent youth rebellions as we continually question "why?" before falling right back into the same culture with a new coat of paint, idk but your comment has got my mind ticking hehe.
I don’t want to survive, I want to live.” Love that line.
Yeah past all the enviromentlist stuff theres a message about losing our humanity in there as well. Its not just that the humans got fat its that they didnt interact with each other at all anymore to the point they arent living as humans while Wall-E is lively and animated hes more human than they are
Yes. It was made into a poster. :)
Eve scream when WALL-E is hurt is heart wrenching.
Their enthusiasm really is contagious! I've enjoyed every single minute of this reaction 😃🙏
I like how he pointed out the plant.
Around these parts you can see corn stalks sprouting up from sewer grates.
Kernels that had just fallen off a truck and flushed away like waste standing tall, reaching upward through the surface, as if to shout "I prevailed!"
It's amazing to see life thrive in the most disheartening of circumstances.
This movie transcends all cultures, creeds, religions, borders, etc. I think it's the most universally beloved film of all time
wall e is such an adorable movie, thank you for showing it to them! ❤
Babu has a keen understanding of the dangers of A.I. and robotics. Besides the decline in human employment opportunities, he also sees the overall threat of losing control and dominance.
He’s a wise man…
Funny because the hero and most human character in the movie is WALL-E himself. If we had actual AI we should try to make sure it ends up like him and not the auto-pilot following orders dogmatically
Critics were upset with how preachy this movie was. I didn't find it preachy at all, it's just our reality and the movie is an optimistic sigh of relief. This is one of my top 5 animated movies of all time, and in the top 3 of my all time favorite love stories. My favorite Pixar movie of all time for sure.
It reminded me of a more optimistic Idiocracy for kids.
No they weren't, stop making up shit. Critics loved this movie and overwhelmingly applauded the setting and tone in it. Almost no one except one or two called it preachy (and those weren't really big names anyways). It's got 95% on RottenTomatoes and was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress. It's literally lauded as one of the best animated films of all time.
those critics are GAY. Thats for sure. They just hate theres a male and female type robot loving each other. Filthy disgusting the lot of those "critics".
it's beloved and popular atleast partly because it actually isn't preachy.
@@fawesum I'm not surprised. :)
Another animated film that is top tier is The Prince of Egypt. I think they would love the music and artwork plus it's deep meaning and messaging.
yesss
Easily my favorite animated movie! For sure in the overall top 10.
I find it hard to pick a number one, but yes top 10 for sure. Well.. probably. There are so many
Inside out, Megamind, Rise of the Gaurdians, Klaus, Coco, Rango come to mind right away :D
I don't do favorites but I gotta admit the way they told so much of the story without dialogue is a vote in their favor.
One of mine, too, but comes behind "The Iron Giant" and "Prince of Egypt".
I love the song they both sing at 11:04. They know how much Wall-E loves Eve!!
I love the way these guys, who some might call primitive, have a really good grasp of what was transpiring before their eyes. I love your videos!
This is my favorite Pixar film!
It’s really the best
I fully agree, I will love Wall-E until the day I die, it's such a happy and pleasant movie.
Mine too!
I’m glad they loved it as much as I do, and we all have similar thoughts on the love story and environmental message.
*So many adults are not willing to watch a movie length video of animation because we think of cartoons for kids. But they have evolved so much further than that. These gentlemen have figured that out, and I am here for it! "Brother Bear" the animated movie, is another one you will LOVE. Also Disney Pixar.*
This is really a top tier animated movie you showed them there. And it also introduced them to a few new concepts.
Would love to see them introduced to the concept of sentient alien life in movies. Unfortunately there aren't that many _animated_ movies that focus on that. Still, there is one great one: *Treasure Planet!*
That could be an interesting react, too.
Or Planet 51! That’s a European production and it’s really fun 😁!
Babu has such compassion and smart . i love watching his reactions so innocent engaged in the characters . Now i need to watch this movie again 😊
You should have finished out the credits. It's a series of still pictures telling the story of the humans after they return, showing them rediscovering agriculture and rebuilding the cities.
"I don’t want to survive, I want to live.” gets me every time. There's not much dialogue in the movie, but it's my favorite line and it's so powerful.
Sarru did an excellent impression of AUTO.
LOVE their Pixar journey. Universal messages and storytelling. I wonder if they would appreciate Inside Out?
Babu really said Eat the Rich 🥹❤️
I love the way Disney Pixar brings out the child in people.
Maybe the next animated movie could be UP (2009) I love that movie!
Babu is broad minded ❤love from India
It would be interesting to show them the movie The Red Turtle that was co-written and directed by Dutch animator Michaël Dudok de Wit and produced by Toshio Suzuki from Japan, the film is also co-production between Studio Ghibli and several French companies, including Wild Bunch. This movie is without any dialogue so doesnt need translation, only to sit back and watch the journey of the main character.
Perfect pair. One that has experienced most of things in life and One that maybe can change things in his life.
Those movies are really excellent! I'm looking forward for them to watch "Up!" or other Pixar movies.
this movie almost makes me cry every time i love WALL-E
Ayyy I saw people suggesting they watch this movie and here it is :D very nice! Now I want them to see Up! 👀
A great movie with a lot of heart. I remember seeing it in the theater. I can't believe how long it's been since this came out! It makes me feel old :P
When I was in the Peace Corps, I showed lots of animated movies (including this one!) to friends in my local community all the time. Watching and discussing together was a great bonding experience and truly helps to bridge cultural gaps and create understanding. I love these videos you make. Please keep doing them! :)
I believe you will love the movie ”UP” 😉 Lovely reaction, thank you 🙏🏼
The song at the end is always the best bit for me... Peace and Love
My favorite animated movie ever!
I Love seeing you guys watching these videos and how you reacting too the movies it's really beautiful
The prince of egypt is amazing i recommend that next
Fun fact: the song at the movie's end ('Down to Earth') was nominated for that year's Oscar for best movie song, but it lost out to 'Jai Ho' from Slumdog Millionaire.
Love this movie
Glad the fellas liked it too ❤
Валл И это действительно один из лучших в мире мультфильмов. Трудно передать словами, сколько пророческого смысла в нём заложено. Это величайшее творение. Я каждый раз плачу, когда смотрю его.
I’ve been watching these villagers react videos and I am so entertained
Nice touch to explain them briefly about the background... Usually, for ocident first timers, wouldn't be necessary... but it was short enough to give them the basics. congratulations
Such a joy seeing this movie loved for the first time :) Thank you for sharing your experience with us :)
Wall-E is so brilliant that explaining the whole movie before starting it was unnecessary
I want to hang out with these guys. They seem like such good company.
What a wonderful movie, I have to watch it again soon! Also, now that they watched the main movie, please do a follow up with the "Burn -E" short movie! I am sure they will love that one too!
One thing... there were many ship landing ports. That ship was only one of many, who remained in space.
The true hero in the story is the cleaner robot, When there was dirt in the room he was straight up SPARRTAAAAA!!
I knew Uncle Babu would love this movie. ❤
You will believe a robot can feel.
Great choice in movie, hadnt even thought of it. Entertaining as usual!
They will absolutely love the hunger games
Yes... We saw 7 captions, 7 generations. The captain & his people never knew earth. All new to them😊
C'mon "Monty Python & the Holy Grail" - it has to be done!
Babu has amazing insights.
Thank you for picking wall e it was my suggestion :)
This is such a fun movie to react to! I love their reactions!
I wonder if they would enjoy Balto or Land Before Time (underrated but amazing films!)
Aw🤭🥺🥰 they reaction was so wholesome and cute...
"Wall-eee" 😲
Me: 😩❤️
I just watch these for his songs at the end
After watching this movie many times, I have figured out that all of the malfunctioning robots have achieved a personality. It is a "bug" in their programming, likely from operating for over 700 years. Wall-E had it, and EVA had it. it apparently activates in only a fraction of the robots. The go from having no awareness to having awareness. The bug resides in all of them, as shown when Wall-E teaches them to wave and they respond. They had never realized there was more than their job.
Amazing. So satisfiying. Next on the list i hope is big hero 6.
Well analyzed
omg, a kiddie show... here we go... 33minutes long /pause for popcorn.🍿
It’s not a kiddie show, I hate most animated movies, but has adult themes, it’s very good.
Rayeen would have loved this
aw it is such a cute movie
Can you do a poll with such as Disney’s, Pollyanna, 1960s parent trap? I think we would all love a poll
More movies!!! ❤
Profetic movie.
1. Forest Gump
2. Gladiator
3. The Notebook
These would all 3 be great movies for the people to watch. I grew up not far from where the character Bubba in that movie is from.
I want to know their feelings on the theme of abandoning farming to watch videos all day.
These two were wiser than most of us "modern people" with their meanings about pollution and protecting Earth.
Now I want to watch these folk watch something bizarre like Satoshi Kon's Paprika
I am so happy you got to see this movie. Even though it is about robots the real main lesson of this film is us humans need to take our part in preserving the rock we live on. In the episode where you watched "Finding Nemo" you were surprised at the amount of trash in the ocean. I was a bit confused since you all visited some very nasty beaches last year. You should look into the Pacific trash island, it's pretty bad.
13:53 their reaction is so funny 😂😂
You should show them I Robot.
100%....need to watch Film E.T. ..... ALSO .....THE ABYSS , james camron film, 1993....age film .
Just a little movie tidbit - A113 shows up in MANY MANY movies. It is a little joke among movie makers. It is the classroom number at the California Institute of the Arts where graphic design and character animation is taught. It shows up as room numbers, license plate, directives, and many more "numbered" items.
Let the watch ‘UP’
You should show them E.T
Pls more movies
I think you should answer questions if they have them, rather than just assume they won't understand.
When you start to run out of animated content, which you can go for a long long time and keep us Americans engaged, very happily. When that time comes, will you consider movies like Disney movie parent trap from the 60s and Pollyanna? and the Disney movie Hook?
28:47 😭
FIRST!
I've been waiting for y'all to react to this movie! ✨
🎉🥇🎉
Eva is my cat's name, spelled the Celtic way, Aiofe.
Definitely BOLT has to be shown!
In 700 years of 5 years' cruise, people lost bone density and unable to walk properly.
show sdhort circuit next
@React 2.0
Show them the following movies:
Generation War (2013)
Letters from Iowa Jima (2006)
Stalingrad (1993)
All Quiet on the Western Front (2022)
Das Boot (1981)
Wonder how they'd like _The Last Church._
00:04 It's animated, but it's not a cartoon. Cartoons are hand-drawn, or made to imitate that style. This movie here is 3D computer graphics.
00:26 What's the point of reaction if you pretty much told them the entire movie upfront? :P
Even if I don’t like the reaction, which only ever happened once, I’ll still like it if Babu is there.
#NoBabuNoParty.
Finch starring Tom Hanks is about a man and his robots living on Earth but the planet is becoming uninhabitable due to the heat, sunlight will cook a person alive.
What I don't understand is if Eva was sent to Earth to find sign of life to bring back to show that Earth is habitable, why did she try and kill the first living thing she saw?
Too high strung, I guess? LOL Plants can’t move like that, after all.
@@azuroslazuli6948 The thing is that life can't exist without plants to provide oxygen, even a cockroach needs to breathe. He's as much evidence as a plant.
It's a good point, but can easily be explained by the programming of their limited, ignorant human programmers. Cockroaches aren't what they were looking for so they didn't send a robot out to look for cockroaches.
@@Trendyflute Pretty sure humans know what to look for when trying to detect life. We have the JWST right now that can detect habitable planets just by analyzing the atmosphere as a planet passes it's star.
