I get the buster sword sales being high but I honestly can't see any way they made even close to the same with the katar
I like individual heirlooms but I'm sure that I'm at or passed my 2nd heirloom from Apex packs ( sure over or close to 1,000 packs ) which once I do I plan on getting Hounds , Loba , Bangs or Fuse ... But there few I like and crazy cost so much for an heirloom
I like the individual heirlooms.
I like the universal items ngl cause the meta changes every season or so. One season the legend with the heirloom is useful and the next the same could be useless.
The whole point of the heirloom is supposed to be individualized. Because if you’re going to spend that much money or even rarely get shards you’re gonna want that heirloom for your FAVORITE legend. That’s the idea. Fuck the meta

$160 item locked to 1 character, or $160 item useable on all characters...1 of those is way easier to use than the other, and way easier to argue purchasing than the other...the fact you could unlock an heirloom and not have the legend capable of using it unlocked is a sure sign that it is less use friendly as well.

@@user-wh3mn1iy6n ye clearly but those swords of alot of origin and history in the older days of the Asian world. Used mainly by ninjas to bring enemies closer for quicker and swifter strikes.
So having a futuristic soldier carrying around an antique sword doesn't make sense. Like with Bangalore it made sense because of the design of it looked like a knife straight from titanfall yk?
This one would be a Black American culture, which Newcastle is an African American by story/lore. 70s-80s-90s kids as a whole in the U.S. loved martial arts movies, but the black community has a strong connection to martial arts cinema and this weapon design pays homage to Newcastle being not only an American man but a Black American man.
Also, it's the 1 time where using a "heritage" based weapon would likely be a little too on the nose for woke people, and they just didn't want to use European style swords because again WOKE.

I hate to say this too, I have over 8000 hours into this game. Just doesn’t feel the same, play the same and it’s not fun anymore.
