  • Highlights of our journey to Antarctica with Atlas Ocean Voyages in January 2024. This main video is a comprehensive recap of our extraordinary time aboard, showcasing everything from breathtaking ice scapes to the thousands of playful penguins in their natural setting.
We were sooooo lucky with weather! So incredibly lucky. We were able to participate in every activity offered. This included zodiac rides, hiking, camping, kayaking, and the polar plunge.
This video, captured entirely on 2 iPhones (except for the Atlas Ocean Voyages' branded segments) is a glimpse into the full spectrum of experiences we enjoyed. While it doesn't cover our time in Buenos Aires before the cruise or our additional adventures hiking in Patagonia, Ushuaia, after the cruise, it is everything we remember of our Antarctic expedition with Atlas Ocean Voyages - an experience filled with true adventure, non-manufactured awe, and jaw-dropping moments.

I am a travel agent and Atlas Ocean Voyages is a bug chuck off my business. I love their ships, itineraries, expertise and the always fantastic customer reviews. Yet to travel to Antarctica so this video was epic. Thank you Joe. Will show it to my customers.

I'm booked on this cruise this next February 2025. Does Atlas give you any time in Ushuaia to walk around before you have to board the ship? I would like to purchase items to bring back to friends and hate cruise shop prices :). Thanks

They take you to Tierra del Fuego National Park from the airport after the charter flight, and then to the ship. I think you should give them a call or speak with your travel agent to find out if there is a little time in Ushuaia. If I went on this trip I would forfeit my charter flight back to Buenos Aires and stay a couple of days in Ushuaia because it's meant to be awesome.

Hello! What dates in January did you go? Were the a lot of fluffy penguin chicks? Thanks in advance!

5th - 20th. We spent a little extra time in Ushaia afterwards as well to check out Patagonia. Cruise itself was a total of 8 days. 2 days to get there, 4 days around Antarctica, 2 days back. And yes! So many penguin chicks and we saw thousands of penguins. Thousands!
