- We bought a 2005 Yamaha Royal Star Venture XVZ 1300 TF. It's in bad shape because it was outside under a tarp for almost 11 years.
We are going to renovate this bike: new chrome, powder coat parts of the frame, new parts, new tyres and new colors: two tone red/black.

Wow, the before & after is coming out great. What is the history of that motorcycle? Where did it come from?
It's a Dutch bike and had it's first miles mid 2005. A friend of mine bought it in 2008. He had a BMW 800 'something' as a daily bike. He hasn't used the Yamaha for more than 5 years. It was stored outside under a tarp. I got it mid 2021. After transporting it to my house we checked al the fluids and jump started it. It started at the first attempt! Paint and chrome are in bad shape. Engine, gearbox, shocks etc. are ok. So we've decided to renovate the bike.
@@dutchglobetrotter6464 it’s sad too see bikes like these go to waste rotting. Here in the US, there are hundreds of bikes abandoned, sitting for many years with very little miles. The majority of people here only care about Harley bikes, which is sad because metrics offer so much more. You’re doing a great job!
