Hey Chris please do 101 Facts About Rock Music
I thought this video was going to be about the mythology. You know the Roman gods and stuff. Not about Roman history.
Chris... Rome was sacked by the Gauls not the Gwals or guals...
The title of this video was really misleading. I figured "mythology" would mean I'd be watching a video about the Roman gods & stories related to them.
(0:22) There was no potatoes in Ancient Rome, they originate from the americas!
This was my favorite subject in middle school.
Nice to know back in your Jr. High years.
Why don't you guys redo 101 facts part two of the former video.. I would love 101 facts about Play station part two
I wonder how that Coriolanus story was adapted by Shakespeare (I know it was, I just don't know the details). And I'm good, thanks for asking Chris. Bought my first home, have a new book or two on the way, and am writing a new novel.
Is Coriolanus the results of earth's rotation on the anus?
Congrats on the house and books man that sounds great

Another Great Video, thanx mate B)
Hmmmm... think you might be confusing history with mythology. a list of emperors and thier names were all documented at the time, so aren't "mythology" but historical fact. i think you should just change the title to 1010 facts about ancient rome.
Make sure you aren’t confusing the mythological facts with tangents or asides stemming from said mythological facts
Or rather wtf to myself, I meant in all kindness, that he does these little asides which include historical figures.but then again once I finished the video, yes historical facts were included
How do we differentiate between mythical text (imaginative entertainment informing the audience) and accurate historical records? E.g. religious texts? Or list of kings & dated rulership?
I assume both records (fantasy & fact) would be found in many areas (implying same story traveled & converted into local tongue/language) referencing or describing very similar texts/scenarios/situations (clarification? Verification? Depiction prior to apex of story vs apex or catalyst vs consensus of completion /split conception? Initiation vs reception)
I'm sure many of the same fairytales are relayed to one another through out the generations in many languages around the world. An ugly duckling CAN become a swan BUT highly unlikely a giant climbed down a bean stalk grown via magic beans? Or Pythagoras or Plato (I forgot who now) claiming he could hear the sun ringing vs Pontus pilot washing his hands of the crime that the caliphate have charged Jesus with as being blasphemer (claiming to be God; or challenging their notion of what 'a God' is?) True or false? Or list of kings found in Egypt recording some rulerships that lasted for THOUSANDS of years?
My favorite myth is the one about the artichoke plant 😁
