- The Amiga is an amazing computer, but the best part about the Amiga is its incredible community. I am so grateful to have made some many wonderful friends over the past 34 years starting with The Westchester Amiga User Group (WAUG) in 1987, continuing with the Guru Meditation CZcams channel, social media and my weekly Twitch streams. I am absolutely blow away by Zach Weddington's work on this video. Zach, you are the best! Paulee Alex Bow's music is top notch and Kelly Emond's CRT recordings are beautiful. And massive thanks to everyone who recorded a message for me. This video is something I will never forget for the rest of my life and I will watch it every birthday from here on out. AmigaLove to you all.

Great video! I was so inspired I was out driving around fast and got pulled over by a police officer. I looked at him and asked "do you know who I am?" He was all like "you're Amiga Bill? I thought he was handsomer in the videos..." I looked him in the eye and told him "I'm an expert at video editing." He put his ticket book back in his pocket "you're Amiga Bill! Have a nice day..."

@@TheGuruMeditation When you said something like it was about the community you articulated what I felt while watching the video. I worked in a computer store in New Mexico in the 90s that sold both PCs and Amigas and I noticed that the Amiga users tended to be unusually intelligent, creative and a little odd. I knew this about the community from personal observation and yet I am a little ashamed to admit that I have been surprised at the unusually intelligent and creative things this community has done in the last couple of decades. There are new Amiga personalities joining a distinguished Hall of Fame that starts with Jay Miner and you with your quiet competence and positive energy has earned a place there. Zack Weddington by articulating so much that is good in our community in such a creative way has earned a place there as well...

As a 12 year old kid in 1987 hanging out with an odd bunch of Amiga nerds at my local Commodore Computer User Group (CCUG) in Brisbane, Australia, I would never had guessed that 34 years later we would all still be grouped together only spread around the globe and possibly a little more crazy and certainly more grey hair (if any hair left at all!). I ❤️AMIGA

Happy Birthday from Amitopia and myself Michal. You are a true inspiration to all Amiga users and that is worthy. We are all working towards the same goal. To have a platform where creativity never ends and with Windows and MacOS shrinking privacy I thing AmigaOS is a platform where creativity of freedom must be protected. Computer parties in the 90s were full of Amiga users playing games, but they also did stuff in Deluxe Paint, Protracker and coding! The creative edge is something that Commodore pushed and its something that saved the Amiga.

Wow that was an awesome video! And Happy belated birthday Amiga Bill! Early last year I re-started my Amiga passion, and got myself an A1200 (which is now in a Checkmate A1500 Plus case), and am still building on to the Amiga dream! Much if the inspiration I found from you, and others in the Amiga community like Dough Compton, and watching a lot of RMC and others as well that from time to time touch on the Amiga community. The Amiga community also amazes me, and a little over a year ago, I had no idea that Amiga was still a thing, or there was such a huge dedicated community, Amiga repair services, and even web and physical Amiga stores none the less! Simply amazing! Keep up the wonderful work and your Amiga spirit Amiga Bill!
