Career And Promotion Cheats You Need To Know | The Sims 4 Guide

To use cheats, hold CONTROL + SHIFT + C at the same time to bring up the cheats bar, and then type in 'testingcheats true' to turn cheats on.
In general the format for career promotion cheats is careers.promote X, where X is the career that your sim is currently in.
The format for career demotion cheats is to substitute out promote with demote. For example careers.demote X, where X is the career that your sim is currently in.
Finally we have a cheat to allow you to buy objects that are locked behind careers or goals and objectvies.
To turn on: bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement
Tu turn off: bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement false

Thanks for another great video. I had seen the promotion cheats before but couldn't get them to work - I know where I went wrong now! I want to use these for story game play, never seemed right when creating an adult/ elder sim and they had no job experience!

I found these career items free to buy in buy mode when I was building on a new lot, without any cheat activated.

The career isn't called musician, it's called Entertainer. Hope this helps. You just have to get on computer, look for job, double check the names of the careers.

careers.promote adult_writer. This will level your Sims to the next writing career level. To level up to more than the next level, use the chat repeatedly until you reach the desired level in your career.

The athletic professional bodybuilder aint working for me
I feel like i have to do this since the plcareer progress bar isn't really moving and i did everything completed all my tasks, went in a good mood, press the work hard and contempate art button when at work.

So the Politician career is a bit odd, and the cheat uses the word 'Activist' instead. Hope that helps!
