Thank you for sharing this! I am 52 and in this exact position. You capture this strange time of life so well and our conflicted feelings about what next. I love that you encourage us to be as excited as we were at 18 of the future, rather than scared of the unknown. ❤
My mom is 84, still beautiful. Every 3 months or so, she gathers a bunch of books, and takes a train ride from where she lives to seattle and goes clear to chicago , spends the night in a nice hotel, then makes the return trip. It usually takes 1 week or so, but sometimes longer especially in winter with snow. I think that is fantastic, and hope when i in my 80's I will be just like her!
At 52 years old, I hardly recognize myself- not just physically, but mentally & emotionally. Kids move out, parents age & pass away, and in my case there have been additional losses & deep grief, that have left me a very different person.
Im all of those things you mentioned.i don’t have the money or resources to do what i would love to do. So i don’t dwell on it much. I just remember I have been blessed for 65 years, and although there are things i would love to do, i just need to be content. I have nothing to complain about, have some regrets. Who doesn’t?This is a great video. I hope many ladies will get out there and be loving their next adventure. Thank you.
Thank you Schellea I am now 66, at 60 I realized that I needed to up my game and take responsibility for my health and appearance. I am an artist but for some reason I missed becoming an artist on myself. Through youtube videos I started to try new techniques in skin care, makeup application and hairstyles. I spent time studying different ways to wear and choose clothing. My greatest fear was to become invisible. My goal was to look my age, look pretty and stylish. I am very grateful to you and to all the other ladies who share their knowledge. Blessings....Anne
Hi Anne H! There is a gift in being able to express your art through style, makeup and fashion...Enjoy your journey and continue creating xxThanks so much for watching and have a beautiful weekend 💕
I love what you said. I feel a lot of changes and when I started watching your channel I started feeling better. I thank God for you. You are so encouraging and truly I appreciate your help.
Hi Schellea great topic for all of us women over 50. We do go through so many life changes and transitions in life and menopause is a big one. For me it was around 52 and was feeling all those things but that is when I decided to finally do something for me and went back to school and took my courses in image and makeup and started my own business. Wonderful pep talk. By the way I love your outfit makes your blue eyes stand out so much-beautiful. Have a wonderful weekend xxoo
Thanks so much for watching Timeless Beauties By Jacqueline! So it was true for you that you started a new life at 52? I love that you stated a business at that age 👍 Have a great weekend ❤️
Thank you beautiful lady. 52 was 11 years ago for me. I was happy to hear about Dr Northrup who inspired me to follow through with my husband and learn to tango. Her tango video is titled Follow Your Heart:Dancing To Be Felt, Not Seen. I had slmost forgotten inspiration started with her 3 or 4 years ago.
Right on !! I am 63 and it’s later than my 50’s but I am moving from the mountains to the desert of So.California . Yes, I’m scared to death in a sense but pushing myself for change snd growth . This all happens next week . Lifestyle changes I think just might be the ticket for a new kickstart . I hope to start my own CZcams channel once I get settled for us 60’s gals that need support amongst each other and you’ve helped me emotionally to say - ‘I can do this too ‘ even if I get only one watcher . Thank you so much for your encouragement and tips . ❤️
No one may ever see this and I am totally ok with that. First, I love this channel more and more. Second, I am totally in love with being 52 going on 53! I feel the most beautiful ever, paid off my house and have a little extra money each month. My marriage is solid and I have animals I love along with my husband. I am so grateful for CZcams for bringing people from around the world together. Thank you Scheallea!
Thanks Shelley Carlson I really appreciate your comment...We are the same age and Im happy you are living your best life at 52! Have a beautiful week ahead ❤️
I didn’t have the transition at 18. I was already a mother of a 2 year old and married. No wonder I feel so lost now! I’ve been mothering for 31 years. Plus 5 years before that I was my brothers “mom”. I’m having to learn to be on my own and be an empty nester for the first time in my life.
Thank you for this video. I started following you about 2 weeks ago and I so appreciate the time you take to put these videos together to share with us. I struggle with the 'what do I want to be when I grow up' @ 53 yrs old. and I have yet to figure that out. However I feel that has held me back from moving forward. I am going to replay this video a few times to let it all sink in.
I loved this. I raised a family and now a grandchild and am 61. I can relate with everything you say about your mom. It is true I would imagine that if she had it to over again she would do things different. That’s the thing when you get older is realizing all of those things you always planned to do you start to realize you may never actually do them because time is running out. Living life to the fullest like you say is essential and we just have to find a way to give ourselves permission.
Thanks beautiful Myla Zink! practice giving yourself permission and you will find that it becomes second nature after a while...Its the biggest gift you can give yourself and your family...Have an amazing day ❤️
Great video Schellea!! At age 61, and 12 yrs postmenopausal I look back at my 18 year old self with kindness and compassion. She was a half baked muffin! Happiness increases with age...(I think it takes less to be happy when we are older.)
My mum said she felt lost, she grew up in a big family and so either was taking care of younger siblings, then us kids then my step dad before he passed. I want mum to get out and have some fun. She gave it a go, but quit. I am glad she comes to the parties we have at my place though. I have to give her some encouragement!
Thank you sharing your words of encouragement. I'm 54 and was diagnosed last August 2017 with breast cancer. I'm cancer free.. Thank God, but still going through the reconstruction surgeries. I lost all of my hair and some of my teeth due to chemo. It's a hard journey, but again I believe in my higher power. Getting back to feeling beautiful as one would look in the mirror has its challenges, but what's important I'm alive and cancer free. Loving ourselves at this age is very important and watching videos like yours and others on CZcams has been helping me get into dressing and wearing makeup again. Although I still have no hair (lol) eyebrows and lashes are still coming in.. oops I think I wrote a whole book. I love your accent and I always wanted to go to Australia. I'm in USA, but originally born in Puerto Rico. Blessings beautiful. 🌺
It’s pretty much taken my life to a stand still. My health crashed down after menopause and no upward swing later. I’d say it’s literally been some of the worst times of my life even with HRT. It did hasten the end of my marriage which needed to end for my well being.
My mum is in her fifties, I’m 16 and I can tell my mum is going through a midlife crisis. I don’t do know what to do, I can’t slow down time. That’s the saddest part of life. I think I’m just to help way more around the house. 😢
Thank you so much for the inspiration! I turn 52! in May this year and don’t do enough for myself - always putting everyone else first. My mum sounds just like my mother. She’ didn’t live her life the way she wanted because she thought hey sole purpose was just to be a housewife and mother. She passed away last October also with regrets. Thank you for reminding me to live this life we’ve been given and to enjoy it 💋💋
Very well said. I went back to school to become a teacher. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it. I'm making clothes now and going to take some piano lessons. At times it's hard to just do that, but when I do, I feel great. I highly recommend starting something new as well.
Hi Schellea, I think I may of read that ladies post and commented to her on your Facebook group, I'd just like to share what my hubby and I do on the last day of the year, We sit down and we both think of things that we want to do in the following year, I write them All down and then I have this little Hope box I call it and put the piece of paper in there and we don't look at it until the end of that year, and we tick off All the things that we have accomplished in that year, if there's something that we haven't done, then that goes back onto the list for the following year and so on, I'm 58 and hubby is 63, we've been doing this now for some time, most of the time we have ticked off all the boxes, but if we haven't we make them a priority for the following year, it's a Great Way of setting goals for yourself and your partner, or even if your single, because we get excited when I bring the piece of paper out and we go through it together, and by not looking at it over the 12 months, you sometimes forget or most of the time you've forgotten what you've had written down. It's Amazing to see what you can accomplished over a year, we always put a holiday in there, Something for him and Something for Me, Something together, All kinds of things....Much Love Nellie 💖💖💖
thank you! i am excited about life again. i have been a dancer/ performer/entertainer and entrepreneur for the last 25 years...after listening to your videos, i learned a lot from you ...i am able to figure out where i stand...i got inspired to dream again...and celebrate my 50s...and feel like 18 again...
I am so happy that I have found your CZcams Videos! Love your attitude towards life! Your talk on this video is exactly how I have been feeling. I will be 53 tomorrow and have lost weight and exercise daily. But lately I seem to find myself feeling really old and unaccomplished. Strange to me because I don’t feel old at all. I hope to learn from you & everyone of your followers! Thank you! ❤️
over 70 still glamorous hello again ! I,m finally going silver haired. my hair was screaming "LET ME GO " cut 7 in. off tonite I feel good about it. I wear warm colors so my clothes will go well great.
UP DATE MY NEW YEAR resolution for 2019 I,m not going to watch or hear about going silver or gray again. I truley do love being a brunette :) connie murphy
Shellea, this is really true! We have to let go of the guilt and not feel selfish about doing for ourselves. If we don't take care of ourselves, then how can we take care of anybody else. It is not selfish! Another good video! Hugs!
For the 50 to be new 18, women of 18 need to imagine themselves where do they want to be? And work for it! You have made a lot of good choices, you worked hard together with your husband throughout your youth, building businesses and taking care of yourself. Now imagine someone in their 20s doing all the opposite - their 50s will be the new 70s. I know it's cliche, but it's so true! Since I was in my early teens, I exercised a lot, doesn;t mean weight lifting, I just walked in the nature a lot and long distances (fresh air + the gentle exercise) plus my soul and mind got rest and had greatest ideas alone in the nature. I did not party or drink a lot, I still had fun with my peers but never having it monthly or even more often. No smoking. Good diet. And protecting myself with hats and proper clothing from sun, I lived near the beach at that time. Never abused cosmetics, actually have used mascara and moisturizer in my 20s only. Now i am in my early 30s, with newborn twins, I still get mistaken for a teen! My 50s will be amazing, I hope, but I am working for it.
I’m so happy that I did give so much of me to raising independent, happy contributing, children. Because now I think that everything else I do is a wonderful, happy bonus. No guilt or regrets (well, I don’t focus on those) because I got them where they needed to be. Raising good, decent children is an important job. Thank you, Shelley for this thoughtful video.
Hi Mary Wood! I love that you are feeling great about life...I agree that it is everything just knowing that you have raised good decent children...Have an amazing week ahead ❤️
Thank you for putting into words what I felt almost a year ago now. But I got into major learning mode about fitness, nutrition, healthy recipes, and lots of self-improvement. I knew that this was a time of preparation for my next phase. Now I consider this time of life as a most privileged season for me.
over 70 still glamorous:) YES !! I,v been saying this regularly to my viewers. my new motto is" LET that young girl inside you OUTand she will take over " :) connie murphy
Thank you for your thoughtful commentary. It is the most intelligent perspective of reframing menopause not to be the hardship and demise of ourselves, our health and our usefulness. I appreciate that you are a woman who is kind to other women and also know that we need to be our own health researcher and in charge of our health and we can be the priority we have always let others be. Props to you!
Thank you for your eye makeup tips!! Went on a great date and looked FABULOUS!! 52 and fabulous. Did the HAPPY smile all over too!! PS: To grow hair get Head& Shoulders (zinc) and the Biolage shampoo Sugar shine is awesome. You'll notice your hair grow big time!
Jumping into the conversation with another thank you! 🙏🏻 this video is just what I needed today. Guilt IS my thing! And self-care still feels tricky at times for me, like I’m shirking my duties somewhere. I remind myself daily that it’s now my time. Your video really hit home for me today and served to reinforce what I’m trying to reprogram in my beliefs, which is, those old guilt-laden mental “tapes” from the past don’t serve me at all. Thanks for reminding all of us how fabulous we are -at any age! ❣️
Schellea, Thank you for reaching out to those of us that seem to have universal feelings of confusion about the future in our 50's. I have experienced the paranoia, self doubt, sadness and other icky feelings during menopause, now that I am on the other side at 54 I am seeking what I know I need and that is involvement! Starting a new job, part time so I can do the fun stuff I love too. Taking tips from you on how to stay fit and look like a lovely woman instead of trying to hold on to the look of my youth. Your are an inspiration and I look forward to all that you have to say in the future. God bless.
Thanks so much for watching Shirley Soto! I'm so happy you have come out the other side and focusing on doing the fun stuff...We all inspire each other...Have a great weekend ❤️
Hi Shelley What an inspiring video! Rings very true , it’s like you say giving yourself permission to shine. It is a confusing time, you have the mood changes the anxiety the body changes , And then the invisibility which I found to be particularly annoying and a confidence knocker. It’s like we have a different job now, we shouldn’t leave it this late to think of ourselves. I have seen women who have served families, then when it’s become their time the husband has run off With a younger woman!, We must not let this happen, and need to prioritise that our looks and health matter. I think it’s great for family to see you caring about yourself too and that your not just A resource for every thing and everybody!, Keep up your motivational videos , I have changed the way I do my makeup , and had great results ! Lots Of positive comments that it looks good ! Annie x
Thank you for your excellent video. Everything you said is what I am going through. I am 50 and this is what I am going through. It is so difficult and depressing at times. I am very hard on myself for not preparing myself better for this age. I think I need to watch this video a few times. You give me such a different perspective.Thank you so much!!! :)
Once again beautiful Schellea you have hit the nail on the spot! After watching that I'm turning off my computer and going outside to interact with the universe! What a perfect (26 degrees, sunny blue sky's as far as I can see) day it is too! Thank you 💓
'Great video! Thank you for this. I have to admit sometimes I feel that my best years are behind me (I'm almost 50). I don't even recognize the face I see in the mirror.
@@fabulous50s 5 months later & I still watch this video to give me the boost I need !!! Thank you...your so delightful & very inspiring to me. I can't tell you how much this particular video lifts my spirit & reminds me that I'm on my "new story" in life. 💛
The internet and comments like yours can help really a woman in this position feel not so alone if she is struggling with these issues. I am a retired academic psychologist and used to teach Developmental Psychology to undergraduates and graduate students (along with other courses). I have had many women clients in cognitive therapy, the purpose of which is basically to help a person look at how they are THINKING about themselves in the world and with others and readjust those thought processes that are holding them back from self actualization....being who THEY want to be. Groups can help with this or friends in the same situation and the internet is a fascinating group because there are many women on here like me who are older and can be supportive of women going though these life changes. There are also women with a wide variety of cultural experiences...it is a wide wide world. Kudos to you for seeing your mother clearly and using her experiences to change your own thinking so that YOUR options are expanded. I used to tell clients..."if at 40 or 50 or wherever you are as a mature person on life's journey ,you are not happy, then when ? WHEN will you be?" If you want to be happy and fulfilled first you must know what that looks like and what will make YOU uniquely who and what you want to be in the next stage of life. At EVERY age there is time to maximize one's life..focus on the years ahead not on the years behind. At my age I sadly think of some of my dear friends who did NOT make it to my age and I am grateful for the privilege of still being here, still learning and still growing and expect to continue to for as long as I draw breath. I tell friends my age, "we are the lucky ones". In my experience life is sweeter as it flows because I now have even more insight at 70 than when I was young and the time to really savor life as it is lived in the present, each and every day! Enjoy it all...it is so precious.
Im 55.. I still live in this world of separation anxiety from my kids who are adults now! I have worked all my life and still today i feel i have achieved nothing!! Where does one begin to feel worthy??
GREAT VIDEO!! You just described me through your mother. It is hard for me to even think putting myself first. Two grown daughters and a granddaughter about to marry in May. For me I think this is something I will have to learn. One day at a time. THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS❤️❤️❤️
Hi Shelia Dennis! Yes it is one day at a time and you can do it...You will feel so liberated and I would imagine your daughters will be inspired and proud of you...as I would have been if my own Mum could have done this...Thanks so much for watching and have a beautiful week 💕
Wow! Thank you, the voices in our heads are our enemies.....like your Mother, mine who was totally divine and who’s life was family and husband, was totally lost when my father passed and really we lost her too, she was never the same......she had so much to give, but never did anything for herself and unfortunately that mindset was passed onto me, and you are totally correct about needing permission, my greatest fear is looking back on life and thinking, what a waste! I will be watching this over and over again.....
Wow this was a great analysis! I have an 11 year old daughter and noticed my engagement in her life is much different than how it was with her 19 year old sister. This has caused me much internal guilt and confusion as to why this is happening from me. I question why I lack interest in becoming “heavily involved” in her life, as compared to her older sister. And, I beat my self up over that. (I know it is terrible to do that.). So, yes... I see what you mean 50 is the new 18. 🌸
Hi Ann Phillips! I think your totally normal ....As we get older, our estrogen reduces...and estrogen is the hormone that makes us more caring and nurturing...That's why we naturally become more self focused at our age...Release the guilt... and love your daughters in your own special way...Thanks so much for watching and have a beautiful weekend 💕
Happy Sunday! Im 43 and NEVER been happier. Reassessed my life, was in a job which l didnt like, or enjoyed. I have my flat, no mortgage so l decided to Leave my job in marketing. Now working in admin bloody love it. I have set plans for my 6 months and 1 year goals. I have a younger boyfriend, who being with made me learn so much about myself, and enjoy sex as a older , rounder person. The only person who holds you back is yourself. When l was younger , size 8, l held myself back all the time. Now 43, size 14 - 16 NOTHING will hold me back, going to study for a HR qualification, starting exercising, loving my body and myself and being thankful for everything l have. Teally love your video's. After watching one of your older colour videos, im going to a private colour consultant.
GREAT VIDEO AND GREAT ADVICE!!!! This is a awesome video and we all need to believe this !!!! We need to make this part of our life the best time ever !!! 💕xoxo
This is so relevant to me! I am feeling as if I'd like to ditch my job thst is consuming my 'me' time!! I'm over 60 and am beginning to feel like I should ditch everything and just live!! Thank you for this!🤗
Oh, you are such an adorable and beautiful ball of PURE INSPIRATION Schellea!!! I needed this so much today! Loss of Self Identity and Re-invention of Self; SUCH IMPERATIVE TOPICS for we Women! I so appreciate this information (& I love Dr. Christiane Northrup) as it helps to explain my obsession to use the terms "Butterfly Transformation" and "New Life's Quest" in my efforts to inspire myself to make changes as I am in this new phase of Mid-Life! Bless your Beautiful Heart
Hi CHER NeverbeashamedofJesusChrist! Thanks so much for watching and leaving this lovely comment...I love the words you have been using...makes so much sense...You must be blossoming into something wonderfully new...How exciting..Have a wonderful weekend 🌸
Thanx so much Miss Beauty Queen and I ADORE your term "Layered Sphere!" We are Eternal and multi-dimensional "Layered Spheres!" Love that explanation SOooo very much! :-)
Great thoughts. Though for many we are loyal, responsible, and love it. Yes we would like some of those dreams, those yesterday desires, but sometimes you have few if any choices. You exercise, love youself to be good to yourself and the rest. Life doesn't stop or begin at any age for us. We enjoy our own company and of our families and we go with the current events and live.
When I was fifty-two I definitely felt like I was 18. And here's the weird part I looked like I was. I got down to 103 lb then I got down to 92 pounds that part was scary but I really had hormone rages it was incredible. I really felt prettier than ever it lasted for about eight years.
YeS, 50 is the new 18!!! I am feeling amazing, MORE confident and more SEXY than ever before. This is a good thing!! I even think hot flashes and Menopause can be sexy and so POWERFUL!!!!! I have so many things that I am excited to achieve over the next 30 years!! Menopause is shedding the old me, and bringing on the NEW!! I love love love Dr. Northrup!! #grateful #excited Attitude is everything. THANKS FOR SHARING
Everything within reason.. My mom went crazy at 48. Started blowing her money, got scammed, experimented with drugs, and even tried to drag my 17 year old sister down the same path. She must've been mad crazy to think her 3 sons were gonna let their baby sister be exposed to that sort of dangerous/destructive lifestyle. As hard as we tried to get her help (even went around cracking heads to fend off bad company), she stubbornly declined.. Long story short, my mom is serving a 10 year prison sentence. She forfeited her family's honor, put her loved one's lives at risk, and left her kid's scarred for life; all for a taste of cheap worldly pleasure 🤦♂️ Like my mother in law she could've known the joy of starting a small business and meeting her grandkids but nooo, she wanted to go head to head with every young stallion in Houston. Wise up Boomers and Gen X ✌😂
Hi Schellea! Just wanted to say Hello! Obviously still struggling with the sleep a bit. When I give up trying, I allow myself one "positive" video from "one person" that makes me smile inside so I get feel good energy to go to sleep by. My last thoughts of the night are "happy." You always do that for me! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this video; it is one of my favourites! You really nailed it and couldn't have expressed yourself any better! What an awesome person you are. I envy the people around you! And I am so lucky to have found your channel, dear friend from the tropics! I think of you often! Gnight! Lydia ♡
Lydia, your comment was such a lovely gift to receive...thank you 🙏 I really appreciate your words so much 🤗 I am just a mirror ...What you see in me is a reflection of who you are too...Sleep soundly tonight and have an amazing weekend 💕
I loved this video and it so spoke to me. It's funny because it sounds so easy to do, and yet the struggle is real in dealing with midlife changes. I love Dr. Northrup's books and have learned a lot from reading them. Thank you for this video...this was awesome!
Thank you for sharing this! I am 52 and in this exact position. You capture this strange time of life so well and our conflicted feelings about what next. I love that you encourage us to be as excited as we were at 18 of the future, rather than scared of the unknown. ❤
Hi Susan Reynard! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment...Time to get excited...have a beautiful weekend 💕
I am so excited about being in my 50's!

Menopause started at 57 for me. ( I’m 59 )
Inside I feel 45
Outside ... I pass for 47 ( so they tell me )
Exercise, eat healthy, think positive ❤️

Yes challenging times Ti-GG RRR! 🤗
This is where I am at age 50!
I don't know about 18…? But I know, we are better, smarter and much wiser… We need to take care of ourselves and we need to stay healthy 🙌🏻 ❤️
Thanks so much for watching Anita Carter! Have a great weekend ❤️

A burst of this message, again, is okay with me. It’s the way that I will begin the new day today. Today, I am grateful for the age, 54.

Great video Schellea!! At age 61, and 12 yrs postmenopausal I look back at my 18 year old self with kindness and compassion. She was a half baked muffin! Happiness increases with age...(I think it takes less to be happy when we are older.)
Thanks so much for watching Kathleen B! Yep, I can relate to half baked muffin 😂 Have a fantastic week 🌸
Maria Santiago sending you a big hug 🦋🦋
Thank you for your inspiration. I think we all need a pep talk regularly to keep us directed on the path to US.
Hi Lynn Patterson! Thanks so much for watching and have a beautiful weekend 💕
It’s pretty much taken my life to a stand still. My health crashed down after menopause and no upward swing later. I’d say it’s literally been some of the worst times of my life even with HRT. It did hasten the end of my marriage which needed to end for my well being.
I am crying now....you are so right...it is like you have just summed up my whole life in these few minutes...I love you....
Im so happy you enjoyed the video blok blok Thanks for taking the time to comment ❤️
Thank You so much! I am spreading my wings and embracing my 50's. Nature is never wrong! 😍😘😊
You're awesome Elizabeth Rosario 👍 Thanks for your comment ❤️
*Thank you That you're having this conversation here on CZcams!*
I’m 52 and loving the freedom. I finishing my masters, joined a gym and listening to your wonderful advice. LOVE IT!
Thank you, from a not so 50. I'm 67 and your words today really hit home.
my motto " let that young girl inside you outand she will take over :) " " over 70 still glamorous:)"
My mum is in her fifties, I’m 16 and I can tell my mum is going through a midlife crisis. I don’t do know what to do, I can’t slow down time. That’s the saddest part of life. I think I’m just to help way more around the house. 😢
Rock it girl!!!!
Thank you for reminding me to live this life we’ve been given and to enjoy it 💋💋
Sending you a big hug Cynthia Nik 🤗Stay fabulous 🌺
Very well said. I went back to school to become a teacher. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it. I'm making clothes now and going to take some piano lessons. At times it's hard to just do that, but when I do, I feel great. I highly recommend starting something new as well.
You're a star Melina Gamelin! Stay fabulous 🌺
I’m 52 and experiencing all of this. This video is just what I needed to hear! Thank you!
I have a burning passion to retire with my lovely husband and travel the world!
💕 we don't need permission or approval. True words!
100%Teresa Marie! Have an amazing week 🌸
I’m 41 and feeling like your mom, I feel stuck having been a stay at home mom for almost 19 years 🥺
I am so happy that I have found your CZcams Videos!
Thank you! ❤️

Shellea, this is really true! We have to let go of the guilt and not feel selfish about doing for ourselves. If we don't take care of ourselves, then how can we take care of anybody else. It is not selfish! Another good video! Hugs!
Hi Connie N! Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment...Have a wonderful weekend 🌸
Hi Beautiful Rebecca Woods! I love that you are feeling great about life...Have an amazing week ahead ❤️
I've enjoyed every big life/age transition up til this one. Now 50, I feel like I do little but lose - time, hope, potential - each day ☹️
over 70 still glamorous:) YES !! I,v been saying this regularly to my viewers. my new motto is" LET that young girl inside you OUTand she will take over " :) connie murphy
Hi Connie Murphy! Thanks so much for watching and have a beautiful week 💕
You nailed it! Such a great inspirational talk. Thank you
Thanks beautiful kerryj57! Have an amazing day ❤️
totally!
Hi heather studwell! Thank you so much for watching and I really appreciate your comment...Have a beautiful week ❤️
GOD BLESS YOU! 😭 I NEEDED TO HEAR THIS SO MUCH! 💙🥰
Love this you changed my world ❤️
Jumping into the conversation with another thank you!
Thank you for your wonderful ❤️ videos. You're a Blessing, a God - Send. 🙂
Hi Vicki White! Thanks so much for your lovely comment... Have an amazing week 💕
Hi Shelley
What an inspiring video!
Rings very true , it’s like you say giving yourself permission to shine.
It is a confusing time, you have the mood changes the anxiety the body changes ,
And then the invisibility which I found to be particularly annoying and a confidence knocker.
It’s like we have a different job now, we shouldn’t leave it this late to think of ourselves.
I have seen women who have served families, then when it’s become their time the husband has run off
With a younger woman!,
We must not let this happen, and need to prioritise that our looks and health matter.
I think it’s great for family to see you caring about yourself too and that your not just
A resource for every thing and everybody!,
Keep up your motivational videos ,
I have changed the way I do my makeup , and had great results ! Lots
Of positive comments that it looks good !
Hi RebeccasRoses! Thank you so much for taking the time to to say hello! We are all in this together 🤗Have a beautiful weekend ❤️

Happy early birthday!!
I'm 50 in a few days and needed to hear this... Feel very stuck and insular atm but the lockdown in the UK doesn't help! Lol... x

Thanks Sybil Francis! I really appreciate your comment and thanks for sharing your helpful perspective...Have a great weekend ❤️
Love your videos yours are the only ones I subscribe too I have mentioned them to other women you are spot on in the topics you talk about
Thank you Maria Ivanoff! I really appreciate you letting me know ❤️
Thank you!
Thank you so much, extremely timely pep talk for me.
💕💕💕
Thanks so much for watching A L! Have a great weekend ❤️
Hi Donna McNamara! Its up to us to heal the linage...too much guilt for no results...Thanks so much for watching and have a beautiful weekend 💕
This was a perfect message
♥️♥️♥️
Wow this was a great analysis! I have an 11 year old daughter and noticed my engagement in her life is much different than how it was with her 19 year old sister. This has caused me much internal guilt and confusion as to why this is happening from me. I question why I lack interest in becoming “heavily involved” in her life, as compared to her older sister. And, I beat my self up over that. (I know it is terrible to do that.). So, yes... I see what you mean 50 is the new 18. 🌸
Hi Ann Phillips! I think your totally normal ....As we get older, our estrogen reduces...and estrogen is the hormone that makes us more caring and nurturing...That's why we naturally become more self focused at our age...Release the guilt... and love your daughters in your own special way...Thanks so much for watching and have a beautiful weekend 💕
fabulous50s 🌺😌❤️
What a great video. Thank You Schellea!!
Hi Tina Grickis! I'm happy you enjoyed the video...Have an amazing day 🤗
Love, love, love this! It IS Our Time. Selfcare is not selfish. Thank you.
Thanks so much Michele Lupe-Bowe! When we give to ourselves we are giving to others too...Have a fantastic week 🌸

❤️🌸😘
Great thoughts. Though for many we are loyal, responsible, and love it. Yes we would like some of those dreams, those yesterday desires, but sometimes you have few if any choices. You exercise, love youself to be good to yourself and the rest. Life doesn't stop or begin at any age for us. We enjoy our own company and of our families and we go with the current events and live.
Hi Peggy Hall! Have an amazing week 🌸
When I was fifty-two I definitely felt like I was 18. And here's the weird part I looked like I was. I got down to 103 lb then I got down to 92 pounds that part was scary but I really had hormone rages it was incredible. I really felt prettier than ever it lasted for about eight years.
Hi Shellea. Thank you again for your wonderful words. It feels very supportive...and exciting
You're awesome ails j 👍 have a wonderful weekend❤️
Your messages are so good for me. I'm in my late 50s staring down 60. I need to get out there & enjoy life.

Excellent post! What a great way to look at it. Just what I needed to hear.
Thanks so much for watching Mary Ann Parsons! Have a great weekend ❤️
Wise up Boomers and Gen X ✌😂
sorry for your loss and yes self soothing is a way to go about life when guilt or fear tries to stop you.
Thanks so much Allison taylor! Have a fantastic week 🌸
Dr. Northrup is one of my idols.....her books are my bibles...great info.
Same here Allison taylor! Have a great day 💕
Love Dr Northrup!
I loved this video and it so spoke to me. It's funny because it sounds so easy to do, and yet the struggle is real in dealing with midlife changes. I love Dr. Northrup's books and have learned a lot from reading them. Thank you for this video...this was awesome!
Thanks Christy W I really appreciate your comment...Have a beautiful week ❤️
