    How to determine amount of lowering?

    • @prismethod
      @prismethod  Před 2 měsíci

      Dear Ian! Thank you for your question! Lowering depends on a number of factors- initial body flight to initiate the step, the amount of progressive movement, timing, tempo, neutral position. Please remember you do not want to lower too much and too early and it needs to be connected with the whole pathway you are taking to move in space.

    Just like to be clear about your outside spin, always close the foot on 2 regardless where you dance it? Thx.

      Hello! Thank you for your question! If you are referring to lady’s part- yes! Always closing on “2”. Unfortunately some dancers are making a step on 2 and then “brush” but it is an incorrect footwork.
