This is the coolest thing ive ever seen. its actually the alpha automobile. Crazy. It brought strange calmness to me, this one goes on the made my year and brought me some peace list.
Same here! Never tought i wanted to see that, now i'm hooked! I live in Québec and winter driving is huge for me! Now to see these old car going throught snow...wow!
My great granddad Bill Benedict had one of these exact cars as his first. He saved up $20 for it, and bought it from a junkyard back in 1944. Back then, that was about two halves of his paycheck. I own a 1994 Ford escort. Both are slow stock unless we work them enough to be really cool and fast. I like this video❤
The difference is a narrow tire will cut threw the snow to the ground and get traction were a wider tire will pack snow and rode on top. I learned that from my dad. He would tell me how as a boy Would help my grandfather put Chains on and go with him to deliver mail.
That's a nice Ford you have. In Europe, it's not very common for people to ride monuments in winter. Mainly in England, where people are not even afraid of racing vintage cars.
"Oh poppycock, That ain't nowhere near stupid. Henry knows his stuff, see!" "Now the downhill at the Studeson's Bakery during winter, now THAT is something that'll get your teeth chattering, and boy, I'm NOT talking about the cold weather, see."
Did you use lighter gear oil for transmission rear end steering box ? 600 is summer 300/400 winter and keep that distributor oil cup filled 20 wt winter
I remember my Grandmother back in the early 1980’s going on about how cars with the “big fat tires” are worthless in the winter today ………ok boome……. I mean Greatest Generation 😂😂
Using it as intended is a nod to its usefulness, and an appreciated view for me! They build millions of those, so let's see how they could be used and let's not baby them all back to a quiet museum life
