This is extremely helpful for making armor, cosplay or other. I couldn't find the right way to fill in the elbow gap in my designs. Thanks for the help!

That helped me alot! Walking and bend over on conventions/photoshoot makes it much more easier 😁🙏 Thanks for that! 👍

I haven't ever cosplayed before but I love the idea I'm hoping I can get into cosplaying 🙂

BlockBundle just do it man. Grab a drink, watch some tutorials. Buy some materials like foam, contact glue and a hobby knife and get crafting.
The cost to try it out are pretty low 😉

That was a challenging project to use for filming this demo. Nice job.

What kind of foam did you use for the abdominal armor?

Is there any way I can use this near the COD?

Could you send me the files to the starbooster armor files? It's my favorite armor and can't find the files

Thank you for this very useful video!
I have a problem with it though that i hope you can solve.
My country is very hot and I kid you not, elastics don't last long, they would lose all their elasticity after one summer unless they are stored in an air conditioned, temperature controlled room which, let's face i can't do xD Is there any other way this can be achieved?

you can try silicone bands, but those are a tough deal to glue on probably...

Hey Wayne, Sorry i'm late to the party here but I was hoping you could answer a very specific question for me. I'm currently building the praetor suit from the new Doom Eternal and I'm planning on making this style of movable ab armor. the problem is that when he stretches in the game, there are no additional pieces of armor that show.. i'm assuming that's because he's CGI and not real lol but still, what would you personally do? Like when you stretch, it will show a piece that normally doesn't show, so would you just wing it or like copy the nearest piece of armor so it doesn't look too different? I hope this makes sense. Any help would be huge! Thanks man.

i would mimic/copy the surrounding parts but smaller in all dimensions, and make it overlap one another. if that makes sense :P

Doesn't all that hot glue melt in hot weather?

    • @WaynesWorkshop
      @WaynesWorkshop  Před 4 lety

depends on what type of hotglue, the cheaper sticks are low temps and has a low melting point (believe fully melted at 80 degree clecius)
high temp sticks (dremel sells them for example) have a high melting point, fully melted at around 200 degrees celcius.
this is an old video though and methods change ;)
