    @9:03 that port is also an usb cable input, this will allow triggering from a computer using the EOS Utility software or Lightroom for viewing the photos straight from a shot

    Depends on what mode you are in. It is going to be one of the 2 wheels, if you are in a Creative Mode. You might want to invest in the Canon 5Diii Crash Course. It will save you a lot of time.

    Yes- Mark II was used to take pics of the Mark iii. (Also used 24-70 2.8 lens, with strobes, and edited on HD especially for CZcams).

    I wish all camera tutorials are like this. Slow, good & clear voice, logic explanations, because there's always that one button I don't know what the hell it's for. lol. Do you have one where you go 1 by 1 through the menu list - with examples, such as the AF points.

    no- DSLR lenses unfortunately do not have zoom motors built into the lenses as we have on point and shoot cameras.

    You can over-or underexpose by half pushing the upper button and spinning the wheel on the back

    Great tutorial... Just moved over from using Sony. For all most cameras have very similar things the navigation is located in different areas of the camera. Thank you.

    I was thinking about buying one of these 5D mark iiis, and it's reassuring that I can scroll the image around with the joystick because I want to look at my focus point on the image that I just took.

    Today 2023 I own and use a Canon 5D Mark iii as my main DSLR camera. My iPhone is my main camera when I don't have my DSLR.

    You're the second person I've heard say ISO wrong. It EYE-ESS-OH. Its an abbreviation for International Organization for Standardization.

    Great overview. Made me want to download the crash course. Unfortunately the "add to cart" button results in cursor just spinning, for over a half hour now. Giving up.

      After I "joined" the web site, I was able to add to cart without the "spin forever" feature. Really odd.

    just got my mark 3 with the 24-105 kit lens, my question is:
    Is there any button to use for zooming while on video mode? instead of rotating the zoom ring on the lens which doesnt zoom in a smooth way.... thanks

    I would like to to buy the guide, if it was online access would be way easier and better than DVD no one use DVDs these days, and shipping take too long. Why don't you create website that the customer can access the videos after buying membership.

    Hello.. can you assist me with the aspect ration settings on canon 5dkm3? I would like to set my camera as 16:9 and 2.35:1.. would really be nice if you could advice me on how it works.. thx.. i wish this is possible without magic lantern.. any other plugin would be nice since i dont want to downgrade my canon to the version for ML
