Jaws really should be reimagined at Universal with their Epic Universe. It’s a classic Universal movie that still is as popular as ever. Maybe open it with Jaws 50th anniversary in 2025.
They should also do the same with back to the future. I would love to see jaws and bttf back in the parks as lands
Jordan Casillan 100% agree. Both rides could benefit from an update. I don’t think those rides were necessarily unpopular either so why not bring them back?
@@jordancasillan5965 YES!! A full sized Hill Valley land would be incredible. It would be interesting if they could somehow make rotating facades to re-theme it to the different time periods Doc & Marty travel to.

🥺🥺🥺😩😭 It went away to freakin soon, I’ve wanted to go there so so bad and I’ll never get that chance. I can care less about Avengers Campus all I want is A Bug’s Land for crying out loud. Disney why do you always have to do us dirty like this, isn’t anything sacred anymore.

I would have enjoyed Oz I think. And I would have repeatedly gone to see “Wicked”, even if it had been abbreviated. I love that musical... and the books. I went to go see it on Broadway in NYC and it was just one of the best theater performances I had ever been to. The actors and actresses working on musicals on Broadway are so good, they make you feel like you’re watching a Hollywood film at the best quality possible.

bugs land was my dad's favorite land, so i feel kinda bad for him. I will always remember the ride where you rode in the big caterpillar the most, but im really exited for the new avengers land!

i’ve lived in orlando my whole life and as a kid when i did get to go to universal, let me tell you i looooved merlinwood, it was so magical and mystical to me. i was really excited to be older and understand it better but sadly i never got the chance 🥺 i really miss it, hogwarts is cool and all but it doesn’t have the original charm the land had before
i feel like Disney focuses too much on making superhero themed attractions - they got rid of a classic, nostalgic land (Bug's Land) to make way for Marvel, a franchise that already has a ton of rides under their belt :/

For my brother's birthday, I put him on the jaws ride. He sat at THE seat where Jaws pulls the boat down. We planned this on purpose. He thought it was a regular boat ride till the shark came out of the water.
Best prank ever. It was 3 years coming and well worth it. I miss that ride.
I loved bugs land, the great movie ride, future world, and country bear jamboree 😭😭😭👏 (BUT SERIOUSLY WHY DID THEY GET RID OF THE ENERGY RIDE I LOVED THE DINOSAURS)
Fun fact: After you finish the hefalump scene in Winnie the Pooh and look up above the opening, you’ll see Buff, the moose, and the deer :)

with regards to future world: I feel like it's largely just laziness. Yes, it costs money to update things, but it doesn't cost that much on the grand scale of things.
There are so many ways they could have preserved future world. Imagine opening Innoventions twice a year to people looking for crowdfunding for sincerely brilliant ideas interspersed with the corporate sponsors. It'd have been so easily done under a Stark Industries header and it could have changed the world, literally.
Instead, we get a Moana fountain.
"Nothing is sacred." That's very true especially today, but that doesn't mean we have to forget our memories and old favorites!
Unpopular opinion: it makes me sad how Disney re themes rides so much. I feel like if a movie doesn’t have the success frozen has, it won’t have a ride (or a ride for long). Would love to see hunchback, roger rabbit, Atlantis, emperors new groove and more in the parks! I feel like Disney has their favorites and the rest is ignored lol
True. Like I’d be down for an Emperos new groove roller coaster. Like Frozen for example, has a ride in WDW then it’s getting a land and two more rides. Because it’s popular. But if they take away roger rabbit at Disneyland people are gonna freak

I really only remember a bugs land for the detailed theming. The giant box of Cowboy Crunchies as the entrance (nice cross movie continuity) the benches made of used popsicle sticks, it was all fascinating to me as a kid!

Out of everything mentioned I think Dueling Dragons Coaster at Universal, & my Favorite Body Wars, Cranium Command, & Horizons at Epcot is my opinion of attractions from these lands that is missed the most!

it's a shame that all of these lands closed down before i was able to visit them. i've visited flik's fun fair but the others haven't. it would've been so cool to experience all of the old parks and know what it was like. i bet i would've liked amity or future world the most

Haunted mansion and big thunder are too iconic. Splash mountain was based on a racist movie so it makes sense that it was retired
Man. I had been to most of these lands. Condor Flats(back when CA was new), Critter Country (before Winnie the pooh and after), A bugs land, and Future world back in the late 80's. It takes me back to those days when I went to the parks and I know a part of me will miss them dearly, but change is good. Making it fresh and getting people that went to it before a new ride or attraction to experience.
Someday I may go back to the parks and experience the new and interesting rides that replaced the old ones. I will always remember the original attractions I got to go to and nothing can change the wonderful memories I have had in those parks. Sure I will miss them, but there are so many videos on CZcams I can go back to that help me relive them once more.
Ok, but can we talk about how EXCITED I AM FOR AVENGERS CAMPUS THOUGH?! That Antman restaurant looks amazing and the Spiderman ride is going to be ridiculously technologically advanced.

Hi! What do you think they'll be doing with the animatronics from Splash Mountain? It's always a bit sad seeing some classic animatronics get the short end of the stick. I heard they were re-skinned from the America Sing's ride, so they are quite old. While I'm sure they might reuse parts here and there, its just not the same to see those classics as themselves or that old-style animatronic movements. But do you think we'll be seeing those same movements but reskinned as some of the princess and the frog characters? Love your videos as a theme park and animatronic enthusiast~

Yoooo I remember amity island when I was younger. My parents forced me to take a pic besides the giant shark
luckily my grad night trip let me visit bug's land before it closed, the low lights and quiet were a perfect spot to relax in. even better with the leaky faucet, and the nature sounds.
I didn’t even know on my grad nite. we showed up in the back and had to walk over to Disney from DCA. And I saw the Stark Industry signs and was like wth

Dude, I miss the dueling dragons so much!! Stood in line for a whole hour and didn't even get to ride it because lightning was in the area and they shut literally everything down. Such an awesome roller coaster though.
