- Propeller Inspection: boat propeller damage?
Last fall, tug Ran (of the Seascouts) accidentally sailed on a breakwater just below the surface of the water. It was dark, not looking well at the map and missing the accompanying buoy.
Next day they checked the prop through the inspection hatch and it still looked good. But when you feel, you know better! After feeling it turned out there was damage; if you reverse stationary, you even hear it. Time to see what the prop looks like and if the prop needs to be repaired.
Because we sail with many different volunteers in the relatively shallow National ParK "Biesbosch", we have a spare propeller. Unfortunately we cannot find this. That is why we will replace the propeller of this boat in the next video. - Věda a technologie

@@BeunenmetBoten Oh tof, daar kwam ik als stadsjochie veel van 1997 tot 2003. Altijd aan de Rietplaat, lekker illigaal kampvuurtjes maken en klauteren in de bomen. Mijn oudere zus had een vriend en hij en zijn vriendengroep hadden ook allemaal bootjes. Was altijd gezellig. Ik herkende sommige wateren in de video. Vandaar.

Is that a "lelievlet" boat on 7:00?
Almost, it is also a 'vlet' but no lelievlet :) This one is special for sailing with an outboard engine.
@@BeunenmetBoten Yes, that is what caught my eye 😃 That it is like a lelievlet, but has a wider stern, not mentioning the transom for outboard. What are the dimensions of this boat?
@@BeunenmetBoten How many horsepower in that outboard? Is it a 4-stroke engine? 2 cylinder? Short shaft?

@@user-8fna3m0ga Sorry for the late response, but the dimensions are about the same. Maybe a little wider. There is a long shaft, 10 hp, 4 stroke outboard motor attached. More than sufficient power, because so now and then we need to tow some 'lelievlets' with it.
