実に良い話をありがとうございます。これ程のユーモアと貴重な示唆を同時に与えてくれるスピーチを聞くことはありませんでした。特に日本人でかつ日本の大企業のリーダからのスピーチとしては初めてです。
ユーモアのある素晴らしいスピーチですね。
実はアメリカで駐在員として働いていて日々英語を使いながら過ごしています。
自分も暗記しなくても、これぐらいのスピーチが早く出来るようになりたいです。明日、みんなに日本のお盆を説明します。
この方の言葉って、ユーモアにあふれてまったく嫌味がない。聞いてて気持ちいいんですよね～。

Learning something new is really fun.
So I'd like to keep learning from now on.
as a jaded professional, who've seen a lot and like most of my generation, has settled to a "comfortable" state, i am inspired by the challenge embedded in his speech. Its scary for me to venture and test myself again and be a student as it brings back horrible memories of "exams" and that feeling of being belittled. I have a thing i enjoy now, I have a work that's not giving me that sense of accomplishment and comfort, tho it pays Ok.
I am yet afraid to let it go but in the back of my mind and opportune moments is seemingly telling me to move ahead and open those doors, leave this place and smell the countryside. It may not be flowers ill be smelling tho, but the gist of it is that i will be freeing myself from those "golden shackles" and this rat race.
Thank you for the brilliant speech. It really is a refreshing take on the otherwise, high brow inspirational talks i have been hearing for the past number of years...talks i only remember as fleeting sense of elation that goes away once i leave those seminar hall doors, but this one hits home, right at the heart where it will definitely stay.
Extremely lucky are those, who work at Toyota! It's an honor and privilege to be part of their workforce. They taught other competitors how to make great RELIABLE cars. They gave Lean methodology to the world. They didn't patent it. Let everyone in the world use it and improve their processes. Japanese are masters of precision and customer focussed. It's in their DNA.

Reminds me of Akio Morita's book "Made in Japan describing the rise of SONY. Sincere and modest, straight from the heart.
An Inspiring, simple, straightfoward, soul touching honest talk, coming -Springingforth, like a smooth fountain, speed controlled by nature, according to my , a little learnt Sanskrit quotes Satyam vada(speak the truth), Priyam vada (speak only the loved one), slow, steady, eloquent informative talk loaded with humility, infused with Indianised thoughts about generations and business, this by chance I heard, wonderful, matching my thoughts past present future and ever. Rare one, inspired me heavily Satyam sathyam sathyam aham vadami.

さすが世界のTOYOTAのトップですね。英語でのスピーチであんなにも観客の
心をとらえるなんてすごいです。ただ最近のTOYOTAの中国への偏重はどうも
スピーチの内容と違っています。民衆を弾圧し、ウィグル・チベット人を殺している
中国と共同事業をおこなうことが社会的正しさに合致しているのでしょうか？
TOYOTAの中国での成功は、中共を助け多くの人々を弾圧することの手助けをしているのと
同じことです。
シャーロット 世界のTOYOTAだからこそ、その名前の重み、社会に与える影響をもう一度慎重に考え直して欲しいですね。

企業経営者にとっての「正しさ」とは、高利益であることであり、弁護士にとっての「正しさ」とは勝つことです。
世界は道徳の教科書ではありませんよ・・・。そもそも、「正しさ」なんてことを言う人間がろくなものであったことは
かつて一度もありませんよね・・・。ヒトラー、ポルポト、スターリン、毛沢東・・・。皆一様に「社会的正しさ」を唱えました。
「正しさ」なんて、人の数だけ存在するというだけのことです。
