Per la prima volta è possibile osservare una scena del giuramento barbaricino e alcune scene di vita dei niargios, gli uomini della neve.
Da molti secoli, arroccata alle pendici della catena montuosa più elevata dell’isola, vive una comunità nota per il carattere generoso e affabile, per essere laboriosa e creativa.
Gli aritzesi per molti secoli hanno basato la loro economia sullo sfruttamento dei prodotti della montagna e sull’utilizzo della neve.
Il documentario ci permette di conoscere una delle più belle pagine di storia economica della Sardegna mai documentata prima d’ora.
Grazie alle ricostruzioni filmate possiamo rivivere alcuni frammenti della vita passata e osservare uno degli aspetti più importanti ma meno conosciuti della cultura sarda, la storia della neve e dei “niargios”, gli uomini che la custodivano, la raccoglievano e la trasportavano in tutta l’isola dal 1600 al 1920 circa.
Il filmato mostra anche la lavorazione della carapigna e del torrone, mostrando nel dettaglio le antiche fasi della loro lavorazione.
Ci racconta anche alcuni aspetti della vita di Bachis Sulis, un personaggio che amava la cultura e raccontare storie d’amore e che, forse per le tristi vicende che segnarono la sua vita, fini per scrivere e tramandare i disagi della sua sofferta esistenza.
I contenuti, la fotografia e i testi molto curati rendono davvero molto bello questo documentario.

For the first time it is possible to observe a scene of the Barbagia oath and some scenes from the life of the niargios, the men of the snow.
For many centuries, perched on the slopes of the highest mountain range on the island, has lived a community known for its generous and affable character, for being hardworking and creative, and for having contributed, together with the inhabitants of other mountain villages, to increasing the interest in this extraordinary land.
For many centuries, the people of Aritz have based their economy on the exploitation of mountain products and the use of snow.
The documentary allows us to get to know one of the most beautiful pages of Sardinian economic history that has never been documented before.
Thanks to the filmed reconstructions we can relive some fragments of past life and observe one of the most important but less known aspects of Sardinian culture, the history of the snow and the "niargios", the men who guarded it, collected it and transported it throughout the island from about 1600 to 1920.
The video also shows the processing of carapigna and nougat, showing in detail the ancient stages of their processing.
He also tells us about some aspects of the life of Bachis Sulis, a character who loved culture and tell stories of love and who, perhaps due to the sad events that marked his life, ended up writing and passing on the hardships of his painful existence.
The contents, the photography and the well-kept texts make this documentary really beautiful.

Zum ersten Mal ist es möglich, eine Szene des barbarischen Eids und einige Szenen aus dem Leben der Niargios, der Männer des Schnees, zu beobachten.
An den Hängen der höchsten Bergkette der Insel lebt seit vielen Jahrhunderten eine Gemeinschaft, die für ihren großzügigen und freundlichen Charakter, ihre Fleißigkeit und Kreativität bekannt ist und zusammen mit den Bewohnern anderer Bergdörfer dazu beigetragen hat Steigerung des Interesses an diesem außergewöhnlichen Land.
Seit vielen Jahrhunderten basiert die Wirtschaft der Aritzer auf der Ausbeutung von Bergprodukten und der Nutzung von Schnee.
Der Dokumentarfilm lässt uns eine der schönsten Seiten der sardischen Wirtschaftsgeschichte kennenlernen, die noch nie zuvor dokumentiert wurde.
Dank der gefilmten Rekonstruktionen können wir einige Fragmente des vergangenen Lebens wiedererleben und einen der wichtigsten, aber weniger bekannten Aspekte der sardischen Kultur beobachten, die Geschichte des Schnees und der „Niargios“, der Männer, die ihn bewachten, sammelten und transportierten auf der ganzen Insel von etwa 1600 bis 1920.
Das Video zeigt auch die Verarbeitung von Carapigna und Nougat und zeigt detailliert die alten Stadien ihrer Verarbeitung.
Er erzählt uns auch einige Aspekte aus dem Leben von Bachis Sulis, einem Charakter, der Kultur liebte und Liebesgeschichten erzählte und der, vielleicht aufgrund der traurigen Ereignisse, die sein Leben prägten, am Ende schrieb und die Nöte seines schmerzhaften Daseins weitergab .
Der Inhalt, die Fotografie und die gepflegten Texte machen diese Doku wirklich schön.
