    00:00 Welcome, auto relocating using Rekordbox 6 (RB6) and the Rekordbox Collection Tool (RCT)

    Strangly enough: The regular Recordbox "Auto-relocate", ALWAYS uses tracks in my "/prebin" (which I use from your apps), which isn't even listed in my "advanced settings" -> Autorelocate search folders" -> Specific user folders" ...

    With the merge metadata technique: Is it really only metadata of Artist, Title and Length that is being compared? Album, Genre, etc. is ignored? Correct?

      @MixMasterG  Před 9 měsíci +1

      no, all metrics of a tracks are merged from artist to cues with names and beatgrid to comment and everything in between.
      Artist, title and length are used to determine identical tracks in the playlist, those must be 100% identical.

      @@MixMasterG Your second sentence answers my question. Thank you. Followup question: So, if a tracks artist and title are 100% identical but length is a few milliseconds off, it is not being recognized as identical?

      And now another followup question. I would like to understand how to read the logfile. What exactly is the merge-log posted below telling me. (The years in braces in the filename are wrong, that shouldn't matter as you just explained, they're not compared). Artist and title in Rekordbox are definitely identical. Length I can only see in minutes:seconds, it's 04:48 in both, the missing track and the existing track.
      The very first error is telling my that the (2015) track is not found, correct?
      The Encodertype: 49 line is telling me that the (2012) track _is_ found, correct?
      But then there is another "Audio file not found message", referring to the 2015 track again, correct? But why?
      I don't understand both of the lines where it first tells me "Tracks with merged data"
      but then "Single tracks NOT merged....."
      Please elaborate how to exactly interpret both of those messages. Also: what does 10:18 mean in that context?
      Thanks a lot for your time! Very much appreciated! :-)
