I worked with Joe Leonard on the Disney Carousel. It's nice to see a carved horse. I have a walnut rocking horse I carved and a six foot high Puss in Boots by Michael Korton. He worked with me also. You won't believe the detail on Puss...mice, rabbits, etc! It was great fun working with them.
These sound amazing! Are you also a sculptor, or did you do something else to support their project? Also, where in the world do you keep a six-foot-tall Puss in Boots though? Haha. I want to hear more about this!

Dr. Lori, I own a necklace exactly like the pendant/pin you appraised for $800 in the beginning of this video.. Mine does have the chain that originally goes with it.. Also has stamp of Jerusalem, 935 Silver, on back of pendant and the large amethyst is set in the middle..
I paid $250 at an Antique store in NC in the 90’s.. So I’m thinking that mine, being the original 2pc necklace, is worth more than $800 ? Sweet!!
Many factors affect value. I need to see piece to verify what you really have and its condition before I can agree with that comment.

Dr. Lori, do you appraise foreign musical instruments? I have two tambouras, and I would love to know more about them. They belonged to my great grandfather who came to the US from Yugoslavia after WWI. Is that something you would feel comfortable appraising, or can you recommend someone who would be a good person to contact?

hello, new to your channel. I have inherited all of my grandmothers brooches and a few of her old watches and a rhinestone necklace and earing set that has tear drop black stones, looks like onyx but not sure. where do I go to find their valve and how do I ssell. Had a bad experience with ebay
