    Don't get disheartened my friend, I have seen far worse that that! Oil pump drive shaft stripped teeth, loose flywheels, bent conrod and piston seized in the cylinder at such a speed when it happened, that it lifted the cylinder off the crankcase and pulled all studs out of the crankcase! .....It rebuild just fine!

    I threw my lightning 535 and std 500cc ES its sad that i wasted 15yrs of life fixing these vehicles every weekend wasting my precious week ends instead of riding with a ridable vehicle thanks to the worst Re Mechanics worst A***s and I have stock lightnings body kit contact me if anyone needs OE not repainted ,it's dufficult sir to find ppl like you and Mr Chimay pune and not all have the privilege to meet you guys to keep these RE running happy

      Hi... Karthik... I lost and left my Managerial Jobs for these Beastly Beauties and also left Pulsar 150cc and 180cc... I have grown up with all the British Beauties... I am Greatful to Almighty for having me a wife and kids who have been supporting me with my passion till date. I really appreciate you for appreciating me and others. For the fact that I know one more person who shares more then any other person's who is alive. As a legend in shabby and shadow shades... he is the one who documents each and every thing he does.

    Eid mubarak to you. Make small tutorial videos on cast iron 350 and 500. The cast iron owners need to know the issues that they might face with cast iron engines. And how to sort out those issues. More and more awareness only can keep the old bullets running.

    Hi Fazal....its a pain to see these things, new mechanics just don't know anything about Carb engines. The Art and Skill of engine Repair and Tuning is lost with time and greed of certain people, remaining is getting slow death with NGT and Motor Vehicle act. These bikes, priceless time machines, needs love and care. Doing my every bit to maintain my 1977 Bullet in good working condition, the only answer is to document everything about your bike and start learning how to repair, adjust and tune. Fazal what you have said is absolutely right CI engine bike is a curse today....no mechanic wants to touch it. Thats why for past 10-12 years I have been doing everything on my bike myself. Fazal I have a question for you... I want to replace the Inner Primary Case, my bike has 6 volt Alternator with adapter plate, Can a later Inner Case(Part No 111889) be fitted in my bike after removing the adapter plate for Alternator? Regards
